在给定的等离子体总电流和中心电流密度条件下,数值求解平衡方程,求出不同拉长比和三角形变因子的托卡马克等离子体温度、密度、磁场分布,然后通过求解波迹方程和Fokker-Planck方程,分别计算这些位形下的电子回旋波波迹和电流驱动.结果表明:电子回旋波X模从顶部发射时,随着拉长比的增大,波迹会向弱场侧偏移.电子回旋波X模从弱场侧发射时,电子回旋波在等离子体中传播沉积的功率份额随着拉长比的增大而增加,驱动电流位置随着三角形变因子的增大向等离子体中心移动.驱动电流位置随环向和极向发射角的减小向中心移动,对应的电流密度峰值也变大.  相似文献

The coupling of lower hybrid wave to the plasma is a crucial issue for efficient current drive in tokamaks. This paper establishes a new coupling model which assumes the antenna to be a curved face and the plasma to be a cylinder. Power spectrum considering the coupling between wave-guides in both poloidal and toroidal direction is simply estimated and discussed. The effect of the poloidal wave vector on wave propagation, power deposition and driven current is also investigated with the help of lower hybrid current drive code. Results show that the poloidal wave vector affects the ray tracing, and also has effect on power deposition and driven current. The effect of the poloidal wave vector on power deposition and driven current profile depends on plasma parameters. Preliminary studies suggest that it seems possible to control the current profile by adjusting the poloidal phase difference between the waveguide in poloidal direction.  相似文献

在给定等离子体密度分布下,从电子、离子的能量方程出发,根据不同运行模式下等离子体的热传导率不同,分别求出了中心负剪切模式,常规剪切H模式和L模式下的等离子体温度分布,然后通过求解波迹方程与相对论情况下的Fokker-Planck方程,分别计算了这些模式下的电子回旋波电流驱动和波功率沉积.得到在中心负剪切下,驱动电流最大,驱动效率最高,功率沉积和电流分布区间跨度大;在常规剪切H模式下,驱动电流较小,分布区间跨度比较窄,驱动效率相对较低;在常规剪切L模式,驱动电流效率最低,分布区间跨度也非常集中. 关键词: 托卡马克 电子回旋波电流驱动 中心负剪切 常规剪切  相似文献

通过将波迹方程与相对论情况下的完全Fokker-Planck方程联合进行求解,研究了寻常波基频电子回旋波从托卡马克等离子体中平面弱场侧发射时的电流驱动。数值结果表明:随着等离子体电子密度、温度的提高, 功率沉积和电流分布的位置将向等离子体的边缘方向偏移,并且产生的总的驱动电流随之减小;入射波极向发射角和环向发射角度的改变对功率沉积、电流分布及其大小产生明显的影响。  相似文献

The achievement of suitable toroidal-current-density profiles in tokamak plasmas plays an important role in enabling high fusion gain and noninductive sustainment of the plasma current for steady-state operation with improved magnetohydrodynamic stability. The evolution in time of the current profile is related to the evolution of the poloidal magnetic flux, which is modeled in normalized cylindrical coordinates using a partial differential equation (PDE) usually referred to as the magnetic flux diffusion equation. The dynamics of the plasma current density profile can be modified by the total plasma current and the power of the noninductive current drive. These two actuators, which are constrained not only in value and rate but also in their initial and final values, are used to drive the current profile as close as possible to a desired target profile at a specific final time. To solve this constrained finite-time open-loop PDE optimal control problem, model reduction based on proper orthogonal decomposition is combined with sequential quadratic programming in an iterative fashion. The use of a low-dimensional dynamical model dramatically reduces the computational effort and, therefore, the time required to solve the optimization problem, which is critical for a potential implementation of a real-time receding-horizon control strategy.   相似文献

对原有的低混杂波电流驱动模拟程序进行改进,使之能够研究EAST上如何控制低混杂波功率沉积和电流驱动分布.在EAST非圆截面的平衡位形下,应用改进后的程序详细计算不同低混杂波功率谱、等离子体密度和温度分布对低混杂波功率沉积位置和电流驱动剖面分布的影响.通过计算发现,选取合适的低混杂波功率谱,等离子体温度分布和密度分布可以对功率沉积位置和电流驱动分布的剖面进行控制;调节等离子体温度分布可以很好的控制低混杂波近轴电流驱动分布和离轴电流驱动分布.  相似文献

The radial profiles of electrostatic Reynolds stress,plasma poloidal rotations,radial and poloidal electric fields have been measured in the plasma boundary region on the HL-1M tokamak using a multi-array of Mach/Langmuir probes.During experiments of lower hybrid wave current drive,the variations in LHW drive power xill cause changes in the edge electric field,poloidal rotation veloity and Reynolds stress.The results indicate that sheared poloidal flow can be generated in the edge plasma due to radially varied Reynolds stress.  相似文献

Current theories of zonal flow dynamics focus on the transport of poloidal momentum. Different from a cylinder, stationary poloidal flows in a tokamak are accompanied by (possibly kinetic) flows along the magnetic field, which maintain incompressibility, and comprise the major part of the flow energy. In numerical turbulence studies, the flows saturate by the turbulent diffusion of the parallel flow, whereas the poloidal momentum transport continues to strongly drive the flows.  相似文献

Oscillating-field current drive (OFCD) is a steady-state magnetic helicity injection method to drive net toroidal current in a plasma by applying oscillating poloidal and toroidal loop voltages. OFCD is added to standard toroidal induction to produce about 10% of the total current in the Madison symmetric torus. The dependence of the added current on the phase between the two applied voltages is measured. Maximum current does not occur at the phase of the maximum helicity injection rate. Effects of OFCD on magnetic fluctuations and dissipated power are shown.  相似文献

The optimized synergy conditions between electron cyclotron current drive(ECCD) and lower hybrid current drive(LHCD) with normal parameters of the EAST tokamak are studied by using the C3PO/LUKE code based on the understanding of the synergy mechanisms so as to obtain a higher synergistic current and provide theoretical reference for the synergistic effect in the EAST experiment. The dependences of the synergistic effect on the parameters of two waves(lower hybrid wave(LHW) and electron cyclotron wave(ECW)), including the radial position of the power deposition, the power value of the LH and EC waves, and the parallel refractive indices of the LHW(N) are presented and discussed.  相似文献

Recently, a new mechanism was proposed by Fisch and Rax which should lead to amplification of lower hybrid (LH) waves at the expense of alpha particles energy, improving thus the LH current drive efficiency. The present contribution investigates the possibility of achieving the conditions on which this mechanism — based on the spatial diffusion of fusion alpha particles — could become operative. The analysis performed shows that in reactor grade tokamaks, the penetration of LH waves into the plasma column is very poor due to the intense electron Landau damping and the complicated geometry of the equilibrium magnetic fields. Consequently, at acceptable LHW input power levels, the waves do not reach the regions where fusion alpha particle power could reasonably compensate the losses of LHW energy due to the damping by electrons. The model of Fisch and Rax is based on special features of the induced diffusion of alpha particles in the energy-configuration space. Using suitable Hamiltonian formalism, the LHW induced radial diffusion of alpha particles and the energy transport between LHW and alpha particles in the frame of generalized quasilinear lines of diffusion constraint is also investigated. A rather strong change ofk of LHW along the ray trace can contribute to the change of energy transport between LHW and alpha particles as well.The authors are indebted to Dr. R. The synergy current drive by combining electron cyclotron wave (ECW) with lower hybrid wave (LHW) can be used to either increase the noninductive current drive efficiency or shape the plasma current profile. In this paper, the synergy current drive by ECW and LHW is studied with numerical simulation. The nonlinear relationship between the wave powers and the synergy current of ECW and LHW is revealed. When the LHW power is small, the synergy current reduces as the ECW power increases, and the synergy current is even reduced to lower than zero, which is referred as negative synergy in the this context. Research shows that the mechanism of the negative synergy is the peaking effect of LHW power profile and the trapped electrons effect. The present research is helpful for understanding the physics of synergy between electron cyclotron current drive and lower hybrid current drive, it can also instruct the design of experiments.  相似文献
