关于局部紧空间的闭Lindel(o¨)f映象

本文给出了两类局部紧空间闭L(Lindelf)映象的内部特征,证明了空间X是仿紧局部紧空间的闭L映象当且仅当X是具有σ-局部有限k系的k′空间,由此得到在k′空间类中,仿紧局部紧空间的闭L映象等价于仿紧局部紧空间的商SL映象.同时还证明了空间X是局部紧度量空间的闭L映象当且仅当X是具有σ-局部有限紧k网的Fréchet空间.     

一致覆盖和度量空间的紧映象

本文利用一致覆盖的概念,讨论了度量空间的序列覆盖紧映象的结构.主要结果有: (1)空间X是局部可分度量空间的序列覆盖紧映象当且仅当X具有由cosmic子空间构成的一致sn网; (2)空间X是局部可分度量空间的序列覆盖,商紧映象当且仅当X是度量空间的序列覆盖,商紧映象且是局部cosmic空间.     

关于序列覆盖s映射的注记

本文分别给出局部可分度量空间的强序列覆盖（1序列覆盖,2序列覆盖）。映象的新刻画,还分别给出拓扑空间是局部可分度量空间的序列覆盖（紧覆盖）s映象的一个充分条件．     

关于局部紧空间的闭Lindelof映象

本文给出了两类局部紧空间闭Ｌ（Ｌｉｎｄｅｌｏｆ）映象的内部特征,证明了空间Ｘ是仿紧局部紧空间的闭Ｌ映象当且发Ｘ是具有σ－局部有限ｋ系的ｋ空间,由此得到在ｋ′空间类中,偏紧局部紧空间的闭Ｌ映象等价于偏紧局部紧空间的商ＳＬＪ央象,同时不证明了空间Ｘ是局部紧度量空间的闭Ｌ映象当且Ｘ是具有σ－局部有限紧ｋ网的Ｆｒｅｃｈｅｔ空间。     

度量空间的序列商,k-映象

本文给出了度量空间序列商．肛映象的-些内部刻画。证明了空间X是度量空间的序列商。肛映象当且仅当X具有紧有限k-闭cs*-覆盖列的点星sn-网，当且仅当X具有紧有限k-闭覆盖列的点星网．作为上述结果的-个推论．不仅得到了空间X是度量空间序列商，k-映象当且仅当X是度量空间的k-映象，而且还证明了空间X是度量空间当且仅当X具有局部有限(紧有限)闭(肛闭)覆盖列的点星弱邻域网．这里“闭”(“k闭”)不能省略．     

度量空间的序列复盖SS-映射

证明了如下结果：(1)拓扑空间X具有局部可数弱基当且仅当X是度置空间的1-序列复盖商ss-映象；(2)拓扑空间X具有局部可数基当且仅当X是度量空间的2-序列复盖商ss-映象。     

A note on closed images of locally compact metric spaces

Summary A decomposition theorem about closed images of locally compact metric spaces is discussed. It is shown that a space is a closed image of a locally compact metric space if and only if it is a regular Fréchet space with a point-countable k-network, and each of its closed first-countable subset is locally compact.

Noncompact simplexes in Banach spaces with the Radon-Nikodým property

It is well known that a compact convex subset C of a locally convex topological vector space is a simplex if and only if each point x of C admits a unique probability measure on the extreme points of C with barycenter x. An exact analog of this result is proved for a closed and bounded separable convex subset of a Banach space with the Radon-Nikodým Property, and a weaker analog is proved in the nonseparable case.     

Sigma-compact,nowhere locally compact metric spaces can be densely imbedded in Hilbert space

It is shown that if H is a connected, locally contractible, separable, topologically complete metric space with the property that mappings of separable metric spaces into H are approximable by imbeddings (in particular, if H is Hilbert space), then every sigma-compact, nowhere locally compact metric space can be densely imbedded in H.     

On (strong) α-favorability of the Wijsman hyperspace

The Banach-Mazur game as well as the strong Choquet game are investigated on the Wijsman hyperspace from the nonempty player's (i.e. α's) perspective. For the strong Choquet game we show that if X is a locally separable metrizable space, then α has a (stationary) winning strategy on X iff it has a (stationary) winning strategy on the Wijsman hyperspace for each compatible metric on X. The analogous result for the Banach-Mazur game does not hold, not even if X is separable, as we show that α may have a (stationary) winning strategy on the Wijsman hyperspace for each compatible metric on X, and not have one on X. We also show that there exists a separable 1st category metric space such that α has a (stationary) winning strategy on its Wijsman hyperspace. This answers a question of Cao and Junnila (2010) [6].

σ-porosity of the set of strict contractions in a space of non-expansive mappings

We consider the space of non-expansive mappings on a bounded, closed and convex subset of a Banach space equipped with the metric of uniform convergence. We show that the set of strict contractions is a σ-porous subset. If the underlying Banach space is separable, we exhibit a σ-porous subset of the space of non-expansive mappings outside of which all mappings attain the maximal Lipschitz constant one at typical points of their domain.

The Kripke schema in metric topology

A form of Kripke's schema turns out to be equivalent to each of the following two statements from metric topology: every open subspace of a separable metric space is separable; every open subset of a separable metric space is a countable union of open balls. Thus Kripke's schema serves as a point of reference for classifying theorems of classical mathematics within Bishop‐style constructive reverse mathematics.
