带非局部源的退化半线性抛物方程的解的爆破性质   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
This paper deals with the blow-up properties of the positive solutions to the nonlocal degenerate semilinear parabolic equation u t − (x a u x ) x =∫ 0 a f(u)dx in (0,a) × (0,T) under homogeneous Dirichlet conditions. The local existence and uniqueness of classical solution are established. Under appropriate hypotheses, the global existence and blow-up in finite time of positve solutions are obtained. It is also proved that the blow-up set is almost the whole domain. This differs from the local case. Furthermore, the blow-up rate is precisely determined for the special case: f(u)=u p , p>1.  相似文献

In this article, we discuss the blow-up problem of entire solutions of a class of second-order quasilinear elliptic equation Δ p u ≡ div(|?u| p?2?u) = ρ(x)f(u), x ∈ R N . No monotonicity condition is assumed upon f(u). Our method used to get the existence of the solution is based on sub-and supersolutions techniques.  相似文献

In this paper we study the following problem: ut−Δu=−f(u) in Ω×(0, T)≡QT, ∂u ∂n=g(u) on ∂Ω×(0, T)≡ST, u(x, 0)=u0(x) in Ω , where Ω⊂ℝN is a smooth bounded domain, f and g are smooth functions which are positive when the argument is positive, and u0(x)>0 satisfies some smooth and compatibility conditions to guarantee the classical solution u(x, t) exists. We first obtain some existence and non-existence results for the corresponding elliptic problems. Then, we establish certain conditions for a finite time blow-up and global boundedness of the solutions of the time-dependent problem. Further, we analyse systems with same kind of boundary conditions and find some blow-up results. In the last section, we study the corresponding elliptic problems in one-dimensional domain. Our main method is the comparison principle and the construction of special forms of upper–lower solutions using related equations. © 1998 B. G. Teubner Stuttgart—John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Letf be a non-decreasing C1-function such that andF(t)/f 2 a(t)→ 0 ast → ∞, whereF(t)=∫ 0 t f(s) ds anda ∈ (0, 2]. We prove the existence of positive large solutions to the equationΔu +q(x)|Δu| a =p(x)f(u) in a smooth bounded domain Ω ⊂RN, provided thatp, q are non-negative continuous functions so that any zero ofp is surrounded by a surface strictly included in Ω on whichp is positive. Under additional hypotheses onp we deduce the existence of solutions if Ω is unbounded.  相似文献

This paper deals with ut = Δu + um(xt)epv(0,t), vt = Δv + uq(0, t)env(x,t), subject to homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. The complete classification on non-simultaneous and simultaneous blow-up is obtained by four sufficient and necessary conditions. It is interesting that, in some exponent region, large initial data u0(v0) leads to the blow-up of u(v), and in some betweenness, simultaneous blow-up occurs. For all of the nonnegative exponents, we find that u(v) blows up only at a single point if m > 1(n > 0), while u(v) blows up everywhere for 0 ? m ? 1 (n = 0). Moreover, blow-up rates are considered for both non-simultaneous and simultaneous blow-up solutions.  相似文献

Abstract

In this work we analyze the existence of solutions that blow-up in finite time for a reaction–diffusion equation u t  ? Δu = f(x, u) in a smooth domain Ω with nonlinear boundary conditions ?u/?n = g(x, u). We show that, if locally around some point of the boundary, we have f(x, u) = ?βu p , β ≥ 0, and g(x, u) = u q then, blow-up in finite time occurs if 2q > p + 1 or if 2q = p + 1 and β < q. Moreover, if we denote by T b the blow-up time, we show that a proper continuation of the blowing up solutions are pinned to the value infinity for some time interval [T, τ] with T b  ≤ T < τ. On the other hand, for the case f(x, u) = ?βu p , for all x and u, with β > 0 and p > 1, we show that blow-up occurs only on the boundary.  相似文献

By constructing different auxiliary functions and using Hopf’s maximum principle, the sufficient conditions for the blow-up and global solutions are presented for nonlinear parabolic equation ut = ∇(a(u)b(x)c(t)∇u) + f(xuqt) with different kinds of boundary conditions. The upper bounds of the “blow-up time” and the “upper estimates” of global solutions are provided. Finally, some examples are presented as the application of the obtained results.  相似文献

For a given bounded domain Ω in R N with smooth boundary ?Ω, we give sufficient conditions on f so that the m-Laplacian equation △ m u = f(x, u, ?u) admits a boundary blow-up solution uW 1,p (Ω). Our main results are new and extend the results in J.V. Concalves and Angelo Roncalli [Boundary blow-up solutions for a class of elliptic equations on a bounded domain, Appl. Math. Comput. 182 (2006), pp. 13–23]. Our approach employs the method of lower–upper solution theorem, fixed point theory and weak comparison principle.  相似文献

We study the problem of existence of periodic and almost periodic solutions of the scalar equation x′ (t) = − δx(t) + pmax u∈[th, t] x(u) + f(t) where δ, pR, with a periodic (almost periodic) perturbation f(t). For these solutions, we establish conditions of global exponential stability and prove uniqueness theorems. We investigate the behaviour of solution uu(x, t; λ) at λ =  λ* for the non-local porous medium equation ${u_t = (u^n)_{xx} + {\lambda}f(u)/({\int_{-1}^1} f(u){\rm d}x)^2}We investigate the behaviour of solution uu(x, t; λ) at λ =  λ* for the non-local porous medium equation ut = (un)xx + lf(u)/(ò-11 f(u)dx)2{u_t = (u^n)_{xx} + {\lambda}f(u)/({\int_{-1}^1} f(u){\rm d}x)^2} with Dirichlet boundary conditions and positive initial data. The function f satisfies: f(s),−f ′ (s) > 0 for s ≥ 0 and s n-1 f(s) is integrable at infinity. Due to the conditions on f, there exists a critical value of parameter λ, say λ*, such that for λ > λ* the solution u = u(x, t; λ) blows up globally in finite time, while for λ ≥ λ* the corresponding steady-state problem does not have any solution. For 0 < λ < λ* there exists a unique steady-state solution w = w(x; λ) while u = u(x, t; λ) is global in time and converges to w as t → ∞. Here we show the global grow-up of critical solution u* =  u(x, t; λ*) (u* (x, t) → ∞, as t → ∞ for all x ? (-1,1){x\in(-1,1)}.  相似文献

This paper studies the existence and the non‐existence of global solutions to the initial boundary value problems for the non‐linear wave equation utt + uxxxx = σ(ux)x + f(x, t) and the Boussinesq‐type equation utt + uxxxx = σ(u)xx + f(x, t). The paper proves that every above‐mentioned problem has a unique global solution under rather mild confining conditions, and arrives at some sufficient conditions of blow‐up of the solutions in finite time. Finally, a few examples are given. Copyright © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, the boundedness of all solutions of the nonlinear differential equation (φp(x′))′ + αφp(x+) – βφp(x) + f(x) = e(t) is studied, where φp(u) = |u|p–2 u, p ≥ 2, α, β are positive constants such that = 2w–1 with w ∈ ?+\?, f is a bounded C5 function, e(t) ∈ C6 is 2πp‐periodic, x+ = max{x, 0}, x = max{–x, 0}. In this paper, we investigate the positive solution of nonlinear degenerate equation with Dirichlet boundary condition. The blow-up criteria is obtained. Furthermore, we prove that under certain conditions, the solutions have global blow-up. When f(u)=up,0<p1, we gained blow-up rate estimate.  相似文献

An Application of a Mountain Pass Theorem   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
We are concerned with the following Dirichlet problem: −Δu(x) = f(x, u), x∈Ω, uH 1 0(Ω), (P) where f(x, t) ∈C (×ℝ), f(x, t)/t is nondecreasing in t∈ℝ and tends to an L -function q(x) uniformly in x∈Ω as t→ + ∞ (i.e., f(x, t) is asymptotically linear in t at infinity). In this case, an Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz-type condition, that is, for some θ > 2, M > 0, 0 > θF(x, s) ≤f(x, s)s, for all |s|≥M and x∈Ω, (AR) is no longer true, where F(x, s) = ∫ s 0 f(x, t)dt. As is well known, (AR) is an important technical condition in applying Mountain Pass Theorem. In this paper, without assuming (AR) we prove, by using a variant version of Mountain Pass Theorem, that problem (P) has a positive solution under suitable conditions on f(x, t) and q(x). Our methods also work for the case where f(x, t) is superlinear in t at infinity, i.e., q(x) ≡ +∞. Received June 24, 1998, Accepted January 14, 2000.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the initial-boundary value problem of a semilinear parabolic equation with local and non-local (localized) reactions in a ball: utu+up+uq(x*,t) in B(R) where p,q>0,B(R)={xRN:|x|<R} and x*≠0. If max(p,q)>1, there exist blow-up solutions of this problem for large initial data. We treat the radially symmetric and one peak non-negative solution of this problem. We give the complete classification of total blow-up phenomena and single point blow-up phenomena according to p and q.
(i)
If or p=q>2, then single point blow-up occurs whenever solutions blow up.
(ii)
If 1<p<q, both phenomena, total blow-up and single point blow-up, occur depending on the initial data.
(iii)
If p?1<q, total blow-up occurs whenever solutions blow up.
(iv)
If max(p,q)?1, every solution exists globally in time.

We study a formation of patterns in Burgers-type equations endowed with a bounded but nonmonotonic dissipative flux: ut + f(u)x = ± νQ(ux)x, Q(s) = s/(1 + s2). Issues of uniqueness, existence, and smoothness of a solution are addressed. Asymptotic regions of a solution are discussed; in particular, classical and nonclassical traveling waves with an embedded subshock are constructed. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

In the paper, we obtain the existence of symmetric or monotone positive solutions and establish a corresponding iterative scheme for the equation (ϕ p (u′))′+q(t)f(u) = 0, 0 < t < 1, where ϕ p (s):= |s| p−2 s, p > 1, subject to nonlinear boundary condition. The main tool is the monotone iterative technique. Here, the coefficient q(t) may be singular at t = 0; 1.  相似文献

In this paper we present adaptive procedures for the numericalstudy of positive solutions of the following problem: ut = uxx (x, t) (0, 1) x [0, T), ux(0, t) = 0 t [0, T), ux(1, t) = up(1, t) t [0, T), u(x, 0) = u0(x) x (0, 1), with p > 1. We describe two methods. The first one refinesthe mesh in the region where the solution becomes bigger ina precise way that allows us to recover the blow-up rate andthe blow-up set of the continuous problem. The second one combinesthe ideas used in the first one with moving mesh methods andmoves the last points when necessary. This scheme also recoversthe blow-up rate and set. Finally, we present numerical experimentsto illustrate the behaviour of both methods.  相似文献
