设计了一种双向反馈布里渊-喇曼光纤激光器,研究了布里渊泵浦对输出特性的影响.布里渊-喇曼光纤激光器由一段7km色散补偿光纤、1 455nm喇曼泵浦、可调谐激光器及双反馈环组成.喇曼泵浦功率固定在250mW,布里渊泵浦工作波段在喇曼峰值增益处附近,可得到较多波长数输出.随着布里渊泵浦功率增加,相邻的布里渊斯托克斯光和经背向瑞利散射的斯托克斯光之间功率差减小,同时各阶斯托克斯光平均强度增加并达到饱和.受色散补偿光纤中喇曼交叉增益影响,布里渊泵浦功率由1.8dBm增加到6.9dBm,输出多波长数先增后减.当布里渊泵浦功率为4.4dBm时,对应输出波长数最多,为37个,波长间隔0.078nm.  相似文献

自放大结构分布反馈光纤激光器输出特性   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
在光敏性掺铒光纤上制作了45mm长非对称相移结构光纤光栅,构成前后向功率输出比大于100∶1的分布反馈光纤激光器.利用一定长度的掺铒光纤吸收有源相移光栅后的剩余泵浦光,实现了对前向输出激光信号的放大,并采用OptiSystem软件模拟了掺铒光纤长度与增益的关系.为了保持输出激光的窄线宽和低噪音特性,利用布喇格波长与激光相同的光纤光栅和光纤环行器构成光窄带滤波器,对放大后激光信号的ASE噪音进行滤除.研究表明:所设计的激光器结构充分利用了泵浦光,在300mW的(980nm)泵浦功率下获得了功率为32.5mW,线宽为11.5kHz,相对强度噪音为-87dB/Hz的激光输出.  相似文献

首先从掺铥光纤激光器的速率方程和光传输方程出发,建立数学模型,通过Matlab软件进行数值计算,分析了泵浦光和激光沿光纤的分布以及各能级离子数的变化.在不同掺杂浓度下,研究了小信号增益与入纤泵浦功率的关系以及泵浦光和激光功率与增益介质长度的关系.在不同泵浦功率下,研究了输出功率与输出耦合镜反射率的关系.进一步对不同泵浦吸收系数,研究了斜率效率和泵浦阈值与光纤长度的关系.分析结果表明存在最佳光纤长度和最佳耦合输出透过率,使得激光输出功率达到最佳值.  相似文献

采用布拉格光纤光栅作为谐振腔,实现了980 nm半导体激光器端面泵浦下的双包层掺镱光纤激光器的连续和调Q运转.连续激光实验结果表明,在泵浦功率固定时,增益光纤存在激光输出功率最大情况下的最佳长度,当泵浦功率增大时,最佳增益光纤长度也随之增加.采用石墨烯分散液作为可饱和吸收体,插入增益光纤与布拉格光纤光栅之间,实现了光纤激光器的稳定被动调Q运转.当泵浦功率为2.87W时,得到了最小脉冲宽度33 ns、重复率38.5 kHz的脉冲序列;随着泵浦功率进一步增大,出现不稳定的调Q锁模现象.  相似文献

全光纤化掺铥光纤激光器作为光学参量振荡器的泵浦源,可以实现3~5μm激光输出,在激光雷达和光电对抗领域有着极为重要的应用前景.本文运用全国产化的泵浦光耦合器和双包层掺铥光纤实现了全光纤化掺铥光纤激光器.该光纤激光器采用自制的光纤布喇格光栅作为反射腔镜,增益光纤采用水冷的方式.光纤布喇格光栅通过45fs、800nm的飞秒脉冲光和相位掩模板直接在双包层掺铥光纤上刻蚀得到,泵浦光通过泵浦光耦合器的一端耦合进入增益光纤,产生的激光由泵浦光耦合器的另一端输出.输出激光的最高功率达到22.2W,激光波长为1.96μm,斜率效率约为37%,激光线宽为72.4pm.  相似文献

对线形腔LD泵浦掺镱的双包层光纤激光器进行研究,通过数值模拟,分析了不同泵浦方式下的泵浦光、激光输出功率和增益特性在光纤中的分布。结果表明,单端后向泵浦输出功率率较高,对于小功率光纤激光器则是最佳选择。进一步又研究了单端后向对称泵浦输出功率与光纤长度及腔镜反射率的影响,为提高光纤激光器的输出功率提供了理论和实验依据。  相似文献

从双包层光纤激光器的速率方程出发,得到了光纤中泵浦光与激光的功率分布、输出功率与泵浦功率的关系、腔镜反射率及光纤长度对输出功率的影响。研究结果表明:输出激光功率与光纤长度及后腔镜反射率有很强的依赖关系,存在一个输出功率最大的最佳光纤长度。后腔镜反射率越大,输出激光功率越小;当光纤长度较短时,在输出端放置反射镜使泵浦光高反射,可以提高输出功率和效率。通过对端面泵浦掺Yb3+双包层光纤激光器进行理论分析和实验研究,得到输出激光的中心波长为1088.3nm,斜率效率为33.7%,最大输出功率为1.75W。  相似文献

提出了用连续泵浦光在硅波导中的受激喇曼散射对信号光进行放大的方法.建立了信号光和泵浦光在硅波导中传输的耦合方程,得到了计算信号光增益的理论模型.利用数值模拟结果,对泵浦功率沿波导的分布,信号光在不同波导长度以及输入功率情况下的增益等进行了分析和讨论.结果表明,适当增加波导长度和泵浦光功率可以得到较高喇曼增益的结论.  相似文献

在没有对喇曼增益分布做任何假设的情况下,利用所推导的光纤喇曼放大器噪声系数的解析表达式,研究了不同光纤长度、不同信号输入功率、不同增益、不同瑞利散射下双重瑞利散射导致的多路干涉噪声对喇曼放大器噪声系数的影响.结果表明随着光纤长度,信号输入功率、喇曼增益和瑞利散射的增加,多路干涉噪声对噪声系数的劣化越严重.但通过合理的优化光纤长度、控制喇曼增益可以取得噪声和增益间的最佳平衡.  相似文献

We investigated the properties of continuous wave (CW) Yb3+-doped double-clad fiber lasers (DCFLs) with linear-cavities theoretically and numerically using the rate equations. Under steady-state conditions, a new approximate analytical solution for CW Yb3+-doped double-clad fiber lasers (DCFLs) with consideration of the scattering losses were deduced. Good agreement between the proposed solution and the numerical simulation was demonstrated. Compared with the known approximate solutions published in the literature, the proposed solution has a briefer expression, higher accuracy and wider scope of application, which extends the applicable range of the analytical result to low reflective feedback mirror configurations. The solution provides a clear physical understanding of the optimal design of the CW Yb3+-doped DCFLs and can be applied to different pump and output configurations. Using the proposed solution, the optimal design of the CW Yb3+-doped DCFLs was discussed. If cavity reflectivities are given in advance, the optimal fiber length is found to be independent of the pump power. When the pump power and reflectivity of the feedback end are known in advance, the results show that the optimal fiber length increases and the optimal reflectivity of output mirror decreases with increase in pump power. Furthermore, when the feedback mirror is highly reflective, there exists a certain tolerance of the optimal parameters, in which the conversion efficiency decreases only slightly. But the conversion efficiency is sensitive to reflectivity of output mirror if feedback mirror has low reflectivity.  相似文献

对强泵浦下线形腔掺Yb3+双包层光纤激光器输出特性进行了理论和实验研究。通过数值模拟,分析了泵浦光及激光在光纤中的分布、输出功率与泵浦功率的关系、光纤长度及腔镜反射率对激光输出功率的影响。在实验中,利用D型掺Yb3+双包层光纤获得了输出功率10 6W的光纤激光输出,斜率效率达86%。测量了在不同输出耦合条件下的输出功率、阈值泵浦功率和斜率效率,理论分析与实验结果基本一致,为进一步提高光纤激光器功率提供了理论和实验依据。  相似文献

Based on the structure of mid-infrared chalcogenide fiber Raman laser, the nonlinear coupled equations and heat dissipation equations are constructed. The effects of laser parameters including pump power, fiber length, reflectance of output coupler and fiber loss coefficient on laser performance are numerically analyzed. The results show that the Raman laser pumped at 2 μm can operate at high slope efficiency using the optimized structure parameters. In addition, the output laser power decreases dramatically with the increasing of fiber loss coefficient. Moreover, the temperature distributions along the fiber radial and axial directions and the maximum temperature versus launched pump power are calculated according to the heat dissipation equations. The results show that the maximum temperature in the fiber increases dramatically with the increasing launched pump power, which is above 300 °C for launched pump power of 21 W. The above obtained results can be used for theoretical guiding and optimizing design of practical chalcogenide fiber Raman laser.  相似文献

A novel numerical method is presented for the calculations of the coupled propagation equations in multi-wavelength Raman fiber lasers. By taking the advantages of genetic algorithm and shooting method, only a few of the best individuals at each generation are chosen to implement several shootings in order to accelerate theirs converging. The output characteristics of an all-fiber three-wavelength Raman fiber laser have been analyzed based on the proposed algorithm. Results show that the total output power linearly depends on the pump power with a slope efficiency of ∼51%. For the three output Stokes, the slope efficiencies of the longer wavelengths are larger than that of the shorter ones because the optical energy at the Stokes with shorter wavelengths allows for a transfer of optical power to the longer Stokes via stimulated Raman scattering. We also find that the total output power degrades by less than 10% by adjusting the output-coupler reflectivity and is insensitive to the variation of the Raman fiber length over a large range.  相似文献

The threshold characteristics of linear cavity Yb3+-doped double-clad fiber laser have been studied theoretically and experimentally. By solving rate equations, the expression for threshold pump power is obtained. The effects of fiber length, mirror reflectivity, pump wavelength, laser wavelength and Yb3+ concentration on threshold pump power are discussed. Then, the Yb3+-doped double-clad fiber laser with linear cavity is developed. By using various output couplers, threshold pump power has been measured. 根据2μm掺铥光纤激光泵浦中红外硫化玻璃光纤拉曼激光器的模型,采用非线性耦合方程组对激光器的性能进行了研究与分析。同时,对激光器各参数包括光纤长度、输出耦合器反射率、光纤散射损耗对激光器性能的影响进行了分析并给出了优化结果。数值仿真结果表明,在一定条件下,2μm泵浦硫化玻璃光纤产生拉曼激光的斜率效率可以超过85%。另外,光纤长度和输出耦合器反射率不仅对输出激光功率的影响很大,而且是相互影响的,必须同时进行优化。结果也表明,输出激光的功率随光纤散射损耗增加急剧线性下降。以上的结果可以用于硫化玻璃光纤级联拉曼激光器的实验指导和优化设计。  相似文献

A theoretical study of the kinetics of two-step-excitation upconversion ultraviolet cw fiber laser based on the 4f5d state in Pr3+:ZBLAN is performed using steady population rate equations and light propagation equations. Under different Pr3+ concentrations, the dependence of the threshold pump powers on the other pump power, the variations of laser output power with reflectivity of output coupler, pump powers and fiber length as well as the dependence of the optimum fiber length on pump powers are investigated.The results predict some optimum laser parameters for maximizing output power.  相似文献
