Pseudodifferential operators with negative definite symbols appear as generators of jump-type Markov processes. The purpose of this paper is to treat the large jumps of the process by a perturbation approach for the generator. This is of particular interest since in this way the generators are made accessible to a symbolic calculus of pseudodifferential operators. The main auxiliary result consists of a characterization of tightness of the jump measures in terms of the symbol.  相似文献

The Gaussian kernel operators on white noise functional spaces, including second quantization, Fourier-Mehler transform, scaling, renormalization, etc. are studied by means of symbol calculus, and characterized by the intertwining relations with annihilation and creation operators. The infinitesimal generators of the Gaussian kernel operators are second order white noise operators of which the number operator and the Gross Laplacian are particular examples.  相似文献

A second look at the authors' [BDR1], [BDR2] characterization of the approximation order of a Finitely generated Shift-Invariant (FSI) subspace of L 2(R d ) results in a more explicit formulation entirely in terms of the (Fourier transform of the) generators of the subspace. Further, when the generators satisfy a certain technical condition, then, under the mild assumption that the set of 1-periodizations of the generators is linearly independent, such a space is shown to provide approximation order k if and only if contains a (necessarily unique) satisfying for |j|<k , . The technical condition is satisfied, e.g., when the generators are at infinity for some >k+d. In the case of compactly supported generators, this recovers an earlier result of Jia [J1], [J2]. Shifts-invariant spaces in L1 (R) are investigated. First,based on a study of the system of linearly difference operators, the method of constructing generators with linearly independent shifts is provided. Then the characterizations of the closed shift-invariant subspaces in L1 (R) are given in terms of such generators and the local basis of shift-invariant subspaces.  相似文献

This paper discusses the special properties of the spectrum of linear operators (in particular, bounded linear operators) on quotient indecomposable Banach spaces; shows that in such spaces generators of Co-groups are always bounded linear operators, and that generators of Co-semigroups satisfy the spectral mapping theorem; and gives an example to show that the generators of Co-semigroups in quotient indecomposable spaces are not necessarily bounded.  相似文献

Any quadratic algebra endowed with an ordered set of generators can bedescribed by some linear map called a reduction operator. The general lineargroup naturally acts on reduction operators, which allows us to introduceweak and strong confluence. With respect to these notions, a completeclassification for two generators and complex coefficients is obtainedshowing that weak confluence is equivalent to Koszulity in this case. Bycontrast, some Sklyanin algebras with three generators fail to be weaklyconfluent. For an arbitrary number of generators and under some assumptionson the first terms of the Hilbert series, a weak confluence hypothesis isequivalent to some rather drastic conditions which determine the whole ofthe Hilbert series.  相似文献

The infinitesimal generators of Lévy processes in Euclidean space are pseudodifferential operators with symbols given by the Lévy-Khintchine formula. This classical analysis relies heavily on Fourier analysis which, in the case when the state space is a Lie group, becomes much more subtle. Still the notion of pseudo-differential operators can be extended to connected, simply connected nilpotent Lie groups by employing the Weyl functional calculus. With respect to this definition, the generators of Lévy processes in the simplest step 3 nilpotent Lie group G are pseudodifferential operators which admit C c (G) as its core.  相似文献

We prove the existence and uniqueness for invariant measures of strongly continuous semigroups on L 2 (X;μ ) , where X is a (possibly infinite-dimensional) space. Our approach is purely analytic based on the theory of sectorial forms. The generators covered are, e.g., small perturbations (in the sense of sectorial forms) of operators generating hypercontractive semigroups. An essential ingredient of the proofs is a new result on compact embeddings of weighted Sobolev spaces H 1,2 (ρ . . . dx) on \bf R d (resp. a Riemannian manifold) into L 2 (ρ dx) . In this article we study a large class of non-Archimedean pseudodifferential operators whose symbols are negative definite functions.We prove that these operators extend to generators of Feller semigroups. In order to study these operators, we introduce a new class of anisotropic Sobolev spaces, which are the natural domains for the operators considered here.We also study the Cauchy problem for certain pseudodifferential equations.  相似文献

We develop the multidimensional functional calculus of semigroup generators which is based on the class of Bernstein functions in several variables. We extend results of Caffarelli–Silvestre and Stinga–Torrea regarding a characterization of fractional powers of differential operators via an extension problem. Our results apply to generators of integrated families of operators, in particular to infinitesimal generators of bounded C 0 semigroups and operators with purely imaginary symbol. We give integral representations to the extension problem in terms of solutions to the heat equation and the wave equation.  相似文献

We develop spectral and asymptotic analysis for a class of nonselfadjoint operators which are the dynamics generators for the systems governed by the equations of the spatially nonhomogeneous Timoshenko beam model with a 2–parameter family of dissipative boundary conditions. Our results split into two groups. We prove asymptotic formulas for the spectra of the aforementioned operators (the spectrum of each operator consists of two branches of discrete complex eigenvalues and each branch has only two points of accumulation: +∞ and —∞), and for their generalized eigenvectors. Our second main result is the fact that these operators are Riesz spectral. To obtain this result, we prove that the systems of generalized eigenvectors form Riesz bases in the corresponding energy spaces. We also obtain the asymptotics of the spectra and the eigenfunctions for the nonselfadjoint polynomial operator pencils associated with these operators. The pencil asymptotics are essential for the proofs of the spectral results for the aforementioned dynamics generators.  相似文献

The present paper works out the link between the Dore‐Venni theorem and the theory of analytic generators developped by I. Ciornescu and L. Zsid. The main result is an inverse theorem: on an UMD‐Banach space, analytic generators of C0‐groups and operators with bounded imaginary powers are the same. The maximal regularity theorem of G. Dore and A. Venni appears as a corollary of this fact.  相似文献

Characteristic examples of Beurling–Deny type Dirichlet forms are considered. The forms are identified with bilinear forms of integro-differential operators that arise as generators of jump-diffusion processes. The aim of this article is to prove Harnack inequalities for these operators and consequently Hölder regularity of weak H 1-solutions. Moser's iteration technique is used.  相似文献
