Existence of strong minimizers for the Griffith static fracture model in dimension two

We consider the Griffith fracture model in two spatial dimensions, and prove existence of strong minimizers, with closed jump set and continuously differentiable deformation fields. One key ingredient, which is the object of the present paper, is a generalization to the vectorial situation of the decay estimate by De Giorgi, Carriero, and Leaci. This is based on replacing the coarea formula by a method to approximate $SB{D}^p$ functions with small jump set by Sobolev functions, and is restricted to two dimensions. The other two ingredients will appear in companion papers and consist respectively in regularity results for vectorial elliptic problems of the elasticity type and in a method to approximate in energy $GSB{D}^p$ functions by $SB{V}^p$ ones.     

An asymptotic Reissner–Mindlin plate model

A mathematical study via variational convergence of a periodic distribution of classical linearly elastic thin plates softly abutted together shows that it is not necessary to use a different continuum model nor to make constitutive symmetry hypothesis as starting points to deduce the Reissner–Mindlin plate model.     

Abel群的一些分解定理的推广(I)

这项研究的目的是要把Abel群（有限或无限）的诸多分解定理尽可能地推广到主理想整环的模上,得到这类模上的分解定理,随后再把所得定理应用到向量空间（有限维或无限维）及其线性变换,得到向量空间的分解定理.本文是系列文章的第一篇,主要目的是建立起支撑整个研究的最基本概念,例如纯子模、有界模、局部循环模、具有minimax条件的模等.本文主要内容有： （1）确定了主理想整环上可除模、有界模、局部循环模的结构; （2）给出了主理想整环上拟循环模的生成性质,这类模在以后的研究里起着非常重要的作用; （3）描述了主理想整环上满足极小条件,minimax条件的模的结构; （4）给出了两个不同构的Z[i]-模,它们作为Abel群是同构的.     

A Buzano type inequality for two Hermitian forms and applications

A Buzano type inequality for two nonnegative Hermitian forms is obtained. Applications to inequalities for norm and numerical radius of bounded linear operators in complex Hilbert spaces are given.     

Amalgams and χ‐Boundedness

A class of graphs is hereditary if it is closed under isomorphism and induced subgraphs. A class of graphs is χ‐bounded if there exists a function such that for all graphs , and all induced subgraphs H of G, we have that . We prove that proper homogeneous sets, clique‐cutsets, and amalgams together preserve χ‐boundedness. More precisely, we show that if and are hereditary classes of graphs such that is χ‐bounded, and such that every graph in either belongs to or admits a proper homogeneous set, a clique‐cutset, or an amalgam, then the class is χ‐bounded. This generalizes a result of [J Combin Theory Ser B 103(5) (2013), 567–586], which states that proper homogeneous sets and clique‐cutsets together preserve χ‐boundedness, as well as a result of [European J Combin 33(4) (2012), 679–683], which states that 1‐joins preserve χ‐boundedness. The house is the complement of the four‐edge path. As an application of our result and of the decomposition theorem for “cap‐free” graphs from [J Graph Theory 30(4) (1999), 289–308], we obtain that if G is a graph that does not contain any subdivision of the house as an induced subgraph, then .     

BMO‐ and VMO‐spaces of slice hyperholomorphic functions

In this paper we continue the study of important Banach spaces of slice hyperholomorphic functions on the quaternionic unit ball by investigating the BMO‐ and VMO‐spaces of slice hyperholomorphic functions. We discuss in particular conformal invariance and a refined characterization of these spaces in terms of Carleson measures. Finally we show the relations with the Bloch and Dirichlet space and the duality relation with the Hardy space . The importance of these spaces in the classical theory is well known. It is therefore worthwhile to study their slice hyperholomorphic counterparts, in particular because slice hyperholomorphic functions were found to have several applications in operator theory and Schur analysis.     

固-固界面退化特性的超声反射评价方法

提出了一种基于有限宽超声束反射的固-固界面退化特性评价方法,从理论和数值仿真角度进行了分析和计算。将两固体界面间的薄层简化为界面弹簧模型,以界面法向和切向劲度系数表征界面的退化程度。通过数值计算求得有限宽超声纵波束在不同入射角和界面不同退化程度下的反射横波、反射纵波的镜面反射系数。进一步地,通过建立二维有限元模型,仿真研究了有限宽超声纵波束在给定入射角及界面不同退化程度下镜面反射系数的变化规律。结果表明,反射纵波和反射横波的镜面反射系数随有限宽超声纵波束的入射角及界面劲度系数的改变而变化,且存在镜面反射系数随界面劲度系数单调且敏感变化的入射角,据此可准确评价界面的退化程度。
