Synthesis of 5,6-Dihydro-OSW-1 and Its Antitumor Activities

5,6-Dihydro-OSW-1 (1) was synthesized following our previous procedure for the total synthesis of OSW-1. This compound demonstrated slightly stronger potency than that of OSW-1 against the growth of cancer cells.

Gradient- and Sensitivity-Enhanced TOCSY Experiments

A pulsed field gradient version of the sensitivity-enhanced 2D TOCSY experiment is proposed which yields high-quality spectra with improved sensitivity and a minimum of two scans pert₁increment. For rapid acquisition of 1D TOCSY spectra, the 1D DPFGSE–TOCSY experiment was modified to include phase-encoded multiple-selective excitation followed by a simple spectral editing. Combination of these two building blocks is used in a sensitivity-enhanced 2D analog of the 3D TOCSY–TOCSY experiment which provides an efficient tool for resolving severely overlapped signals of oligomers in short experimental time.     

Magnetism of metal cyanide networks assembled at interfaces

Studies of metal cyanide thin films prepared directly at interfaces are reviewed. The systems range from monolayers, single-layer analogs of Prussian blue-like networks, to bulk powders prepared as thin films. Monolayer networks are prepared at the air/water interface and transferred to solid supports using Langmuir-Blodgett film methods. Films of bulk materials are prepared directly on solid surfaces using a templated sequential deposition procedure. The magnetic properties of the films have been explored, and in some cases, these monolayers and surface films give rise to new behavior that is only possible because of the fabrication method or thin film architecture. The methods of synthesis can generate oriented samples, even when the materials are poorly crystalline. Furthermore, the interface-assembled networks are inherently anisotropic, leading to phenomena not present in the solid-state analogs, such as anisotropic photomagnetism in a thin film of Rb_jCo_k[Fe(CN)₆]_l·nH₂O.

本文报道以3α-羟基-6-羰基-5α-胆烷酸甲酯(3)为原料经六步反应合成了油菜甾醇类似物25,26,27-三失碳-B-高-7-氧-6-酮-5α-胆甾-3α,24-二醇(9a).总产率14%.9a的促进植物生长作用是24-表油菜甾醇内酯的60%.     

选择性提取单取代磺酰脲除草剂的印迹聚合物的合成及评价

以丙烯酰胺为功能单体合成了新型的单嘧磺隆印迹聚合物,用平衡吸附及液相色谱的方法研究了印迹聚合物对于印迹分子及其结构类似化合物NK#94827的识别特性及亲和能力.研究结果表明,以丙烯酰胺为功能单体得到的印迹聚合物对NK#94827具有较强的识别能力;为印迹聚合物应用于环境样品中NK#94827及其结构类似化合物的分析打下了基础.

Synthetic analogs of active centers of iron-sulfur proteins: Reactions with phosphates

The interaction of synthetic analogs of active centers of iron-sulfur proteins with phosphates of different structures was studied. It was shown that the process involves ligand exchange and obeys the first-order reaction kinetic equation. The most rapid exchange occurred with the most acidic compound diphenyl phosphate.A. E. Amino acid overproduction by analog resistant mutants of the nitrogen fixing cyanobacteriumAnabaena sp 287

Two amino acid analog resistant mutants of the cyanobacteriumAnabaena sp 287 were isolated after MNNG mutagenesis.Anabaena ST 16, a mutant resistant to the alanine analog D-α-aminobutyric acid andAnabaena ST 25, another mutant resistant to the histidine analog l,2,4-triazole-3-alanine, released alanine and histidine, respectively, into the medium upon immobilization in alginic acid during diazotrophic growth in fluidized bed reactors. The rates of amino acid production by the mutants were 4.3 μmol mg chl^-1 h^-1 of D-alanine byAnabaena ST 16 and 16.6 μnol mg chl^-1 h^-1 of L-histidine byAnabaena ST 25. Nitrogen fixation by the mutants was not affected by the extracellular amino acid concentration. While the radioactive carbon flow was followed, the parent strain retained 93% of fixed¹⁴C and released only 7% into the medium. On the other hand,Anabaena ST 16 released 13% andAnabaena ST 25 released 29% into the medium. These mutants are beneficial in the production of radioactive amino acids using diazotrophic photobiotechnology.     

Investigation of the phosphinyl analog of α-ketoglutaric acid

It was shown by³¹P and¹³C NMR spectroscopy that methyl(3-carboxy-3-oxopropyl)phosphinic acid (4-methylhydroxyphosphinyl-2-oxobutyric acid) (1) and the amide (2) of the latter exist in keto forms in non-aqueous solutions. In aqueous solutions an equilibrium between the keto,gem-diol, and enol forms has been observed. The proportions of the diol and enol forms increase as the acidity of the media increases. Silylation of acid 1 with hexamethyldisilazane gives the tris(trimethylsilyl) derivative of enol form (3) (Z- andE-isomers).Translated fromIzyestiya Akadetnii Nauk.
