Stability, internal modes and internal oscillation of 12-pearled necklace solitons in photorefractive crystal with imprinted Bessel photonic lattices are investigated. It is shown that the imaginary parts of internal modes are negligible comparing with real parts. The stable solitons perform long-distance and quasi-periodic oscillation of intensity and shape under the perturbation of internal modes.  相似文献

We study the complex symplectic structure of the quiver varieties corresponding to the moduli spaces of SU(2) instantons on both commutative and non-commutative R4. We identify global Darboux coordinates and quadratic Hamiltonians on classical phase spaces for which these quiver varieties are natural completions. We also show that the group of non-commutative symplectomorphisms of the corresponding path algebra acts transitively on the moduli spaces of non-commutative instantons. This paper should be viewed as a step towards extending known results for Calogero–Moser spaces to the instanton moduli spaces.  相似文献

Internal modes and internal oscillation of vector solitons associated with photoisomerization and necklace solitons in Bessel lattices are researched. While white noise gives rise to the unsmoothness of the vector solitons, the perturbation of internal modes results in the long-distance quasi-periodic oscillation of soliton shape. Internal modes of two-dimensional necklace solitons in Bessel lattices have both real and imaginary parts, which is different with the internal modes of one-dimensional solitons which have only real part.  相似文献

In this paper, we construct a q-deformation of the Witt-Burnside ring of a profinite group over a commutative ring, where q ranges over the set of integers. When q = 1, it coincides with the Witt-Burnside ring introduced by Dress and Siebeneicher (Adv. Math. 70, 87–132 (1988)). To achieve our goal we first show that there exists a q-deformation of the necklace ring of a profinite group over a commutative ring. As in the classical case, i.e., the case q = 1, q-deformed Witt-Burnside rings and necklace rings always come equipped with inductions and restrictions. We also study their properties. As a byproduct, we prove a conjecture due to Lenart (J. Algebra. 199, 703-732 (1998)). Finally, we classify up to strict natural isomorphism in case where G is an abelian profinite group. We count the number of cyclic strings over an alphabet that avoid a single pattern under two different assumptions. In the first case, we assume that the symbols of the alphabet are on numbered positions on a circle, while in the second case we assume that the symbols can be freely rotated on the circle (i.e., we deal with necklaces). In each case, we provide a generating function, and we explain how these two cases are related. For the situation of avoiding more than one pattern, we formulate a general conjecture for the first case, and a conditional result for the second case. We also explain the differences between our theory and the theory of Edlin and Zeilberger (2000) by emphasizing how we modified the definition of the enumeration of cyclic strings that avoid one or more patterns when their lengths are less than the length of the longest pattern.  相似文献

We present practical algorithms for ranking k-ary necklaces and Lyndon words of length n. The algorithms are based on simple counting techniques. By repeatedly applying the ranking algorithms, both necklaces and Lyndon words can be efficiently unranked. Then, explicit details are given to rank and unrank the length n substrings of the lexicographically smallest de Bruijn sequence of order n.  相似文献

Let Nn denote the quotient poset of the Boolean lattice, Bn, under the relation equivalence under rotation. Griggs, Killian, and Savage proved that Np is a symmetric chain order for prime p. In this paper, we settle the question posed in that paper, namely whether Nn is a symmetric chain order for all n. This paper provides an algorithm that produces a symmetric chain decomposition (or SCD). We accomplish this by modifying bracketing from Greene and Kleitman. This allows us to take appropriate “middles” of certain chains from the Greene-Kleitman SCD for Bn. We also prove additional properties of the resulting SCD and show that this settles a related conjecture.  相似文献

Metropolis and Rota introduced the concept of the necklace ring Nr(A) of a commutative ringA. WhenA contains Q as a subring there is a natural bijection γ:Nr(A→1+tA[]. Grothendieck has introduced a ring structure on 1+tA[t] while studyingK-theoretic Chern classes. Nr(A) comes equipped with two families of operatorsF r,V r called the Frobenius and Verschiebung operators. Mathematicians studying formal group laws have introduced two families of operators,F r, andV r on 1+tA[t]. Metropolis and Rota have not however tried to show that γ preserves, these operators. They transport the operators from Nr(A) to 1+tA[t] using γ. In our present paper we show that γ does preserve all these operators.
