Some Remarks on One-dimensional Functions and Their Riemann–Liouville Fractional Calculus

A one-dimensional continuous function of unbounded variation on [0,1] has been constructed.The length of its graph is infnite,while part of this function displays fractal features.The Box dimension of its Riemann–Liouville fractional integral has been calculated.     

关于指数丢番图方程$(a^m-1)(b^n-1)=x^2$的注记

Let a and b be fixed positive integers.In this paper,using some elementary methods,we study the diophantine equation（a~m-1）（b~n-1）= x~2.For example,we prove that if a ≡ 2（mod 6）,b ≡ 3（mod 12）,then（a~n-1）（b~m-1）= x~2 has no solutions in positive integers n,m and x.     

A note on parameter estimations of panel vector autoregressive models with intercorrelation

This note considers parameter estimation for panel vector autoregressive models with intercorrelation. Conditional least squares estimators are derived and the asymptotic normality is established. A simulation is carried out for illustration.

In [6],it is proved that Erceg's pseudo-metric and pointwise pseudo-metric presented by Shi are equivalent.In this paper,it is proved that Theorem 1 in[6] is wrong.Further it is proved that Erceg's pseudo-metric and pointwise pseudo-metric are not equivalent in the sense of topology.     

关于亲和数的一个注记

本文研究了一类整数序列(2n)2n 1的某些性质,利用费玛数和数论函数的某些性质,获得了验证此类整数是否是亲和数和完全数的方法,既不与其他正整数构成亲和数对也不是完全数.     

A NOTE ON MORI-TANAKA＇S METHOD

Explicit expressions of Mori-Tanaka＇s tensor for a transversely isotropic fiber rein- forced UD composite are presented. Closed-form formulae for the effective elastic properties of the composite are obtained. In a 3D sense, the resulting compliance tensor of the composite is symmetric. Nevertheless, the 2D compliance tensor based on a deteriorated Mori-Tanaka＇s tensor is not symmetric. Nor is the compliance tensor defined upon a deteriorated 2D Eshelby＇s tensor. The in-plane effective elastic properties given by those three approaches are different. A detailed comparison between the predicted results obtained from those approaches with experimental data available for a number of UD composites is made.
