Organic–inorganic hybrids are artificially created structures presenting novel properties not exhibited by either of the component materials alone. In this contribution one addresses processing, morphology and properties of polymer nanocomposites reinforced graphene. First, synthesis routes to graphite oxide (GO) and foliated graphene sheets (FGS) are illustrated. Physical characterization of these graphene sheets were conducted using atomic force microscopy and X-ray diffraction techniques. Processing, structure and properties of graphene/poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) nanocomposites are discussed. FGS was dispersed into PEO via two different composite manufacturing techniques: melt compounding and solvent mixing. Morphology of dispersed graphene and properties from different blending routes are compared. TEM showed that graphene distributed parallel to the composite surface using solvent method, while distributed randomly in melt blended method. Optical measurements indicated that the transparency of PEO/graphene prepared by solvent method is higher than that of melt blended method in the visible region. Electrical conductivity measurements are employed to evaluate threshold concentration for rigidity and connectivity percolation. The percolation concentration of the composites prepared by solvent method is less than those of melt blended method. The mechanical performance of the composites prepared by solvent method is higher than melt blended. Halpin–Tsai model has been used to confirm the distribution of the graphene into PEO by the two different processing techniques.  相似文献

This paper presents a new hybrid laser-cutting method for producing fracture test specimens from thermosetting materials. The hybrid approach combines casting of a sheet of material with subsequent laser-cutting of the test specimens. The new approach was compared to the traditional casting method using a fracture toughness test. For this study, a compact version of the tapered double cantilever beam (cTDCB) was used as a specimen geometry for both manufacturing methods. The cTDCB specimen is crack length independent, and crack length investigations were performed to ensure the crack length independence of the cTDCB specimens. The specimens that were made by the hybrid laser-cut method were found to be comparable to the specimens obtained by the traditional casting method. Moreover, the laser-cut method provides a fast and accurate method to make a significant number of samples in a reasonable time. These tests show that the hybrid laser-cut method could be a good alternative to the traditional casting method.  相似文献

 氘代聚合物膜是快点火基础物理实验的一种重要靶型。通过氘代苯乙烯单体的本体自由基聚合反应制备氘代聚苯乙烯,并利用流延法和浇铸法制备出厚度从几十nm到数百μm的膜靶。溶剂挥发过程中的随机扰动对膜厚均匀性造成影响,采用清洁的基片和在涂沫基片或模具外加防护罩可以降低这种影响。采用PVA作脱膜剂有利于获得较薄的聚合物薄膜。DSC分析表明薄膜的玻璃化转变温度与热处理过程有关,缓慢退火有利于提高T-g和储能模量。  相似文献

在光刻热熔成型以及电铸复制得到的微透镜阵列镍板基础上,采用静态铸塑技术,得到了高质量的PMMA微透镜阵列。本文介绍了静态铸塑的聚合反应理论基础、模具设计以及工艺过程。最后对微透镜阵列的复制精度进行分析,结果表明复制精度优于0.5μm.  相似文献

The entrainment of oxide films into the bulk material has been shown to have a detrimental effect on casting integrity. A number of mechanisms have been shown to initiate the entrainment of oxide films, including: returning waves, plunging jets, bubble trails and fountains. Therefore, the assessment of the casting system for these features by the foundry engineer is critical in improving casting quality.  相似文献

Part I deals with the transformation of aluminium alloys from the liquid to the solid state, while Part II will focus on solid-state transformations. 研究了2,3-四-(2-异丙基一5-甲基苯氧基)氢酞菁在10,77,177和300 K下石英衬底上的浇铸膜和单晶硅衬底上真空镀膜(约200 nm厚)在300 K下光致发光光谱.氢酞菁的浇铸膜光致发光光谱在上述温度下均出现荧光发射和磷光发射峰,在177和300 K下出现了1 673 nm激基缔合物峰.该峰的出现与分子抗聚集能力的强弱有关,在300 K激基缔合物峰比在177 K下的峰强,从氢酞菁分子结构特点讨论了形成激基缔合物的原因.随着温度的升高,可以观察到荧光发射峰渐渐减弱而激基缔合物峰变强.由于浇铸膜和真空镀膜的酞菁分子聚集态不同导致了斯托克司位移的差异,真空镀膜的发光峰峰值在1 140 nm左右,与酞菁浇铸膜的峰值差别较大.浇铸膜的发光峰的半高宽为300 nm,而真空镀膜发光峰的半高宽为100 nm左右.  相似文献

The geometric complexity and high fluid speeds involved in high pressure die casting (HPDC) combine to give strongly three dimensional fluid flow with significant free surface fragmentation and splashing. A simulation method that has proved particularly suited to modelling HPDC is Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH). Materials are approximated by particles that are free to move around rather than by fixed grids, enabling more accurate prediction of fluid flows involving complex free surface motion. Three practical industrial case studies of SPH simulated HPDC flows are presented; aluminium casting of a differential cover (automotive), an electronic housing and zinc casting of a door lock plate. These show significant detail in the fragmented fluid free surfaces and allow us to understand the predisposition to create defects such as porosity in the castings. The validation of flow predictions coupled with heat transfer and solidification is an important area for such modelling. One powerful approach is to use short shots, where insufficient metal is used in the casting or the casting shot is halted part way through, to leave the die cavity only partially filled. The frozen partial castings capture significant detail about the order of fill and the flow structures occurring during different stages of filling. Validation can occur by matching experimental and simulated short shots. Here we explore the effect of die temperature, metal super-heat and volume fill on the short shots for the casting of a simple coaster. The bulk features of the final solid castings are found to be in good agreement with the predictions, but the fine details appear to depend on surface behaviour of the solidifying metals. This potentially has significant implications for modelling HPDC.  相似文献

研究了铸铝铜合金拉伸断口毫克极样品中主成分铜、锰、镉的火焰原子吸收光谱法(FAAS)和钛的石墨炉原子吸收光谱法(GFAAS)。其中铜、锰、镉、钛的相对标准偏差分别为0.53%,0.79%,2.57%,5.5%。其加标回收率分别为95%,95%-97%,101%,90%。通过对铸铝铜合金拉伸断口的化学分析研究,发现铜偏析是该合金位伸断裂的主要因素。  相似文献
