Direct Observation of Non-covalent Complexes for Phosphorylated Flavonoid-protein Interaction by ESI

Diethyl flavon-7-yl phosphate was synthesized by modified Atheron-Todd reaction. The result of ESI shows that the phosphated flavonoids possess stronger binding affinities toward proteins such as myoglobin, insulin and lysozyme and are easier to form the non-covalent complexes with them.     

Microwave-assisted Extraction of Rutin and Quercetin from Flos Sophorae

Three microwave-assisted extraction(MAE) procedures were studied. The first procedure was household microwave oven dynamic extraction(HMODE). The second procedure was special microwave oven bath extraction (SMOBE). The third procedure was microwave resonant cavity dynamic extraction (MRCDE). The results obtained by the three microwave-assisted extraction procedures were compared with those obtained by using traditional Soxhlet extraction. The results indicate that the MAE not only took a shorter time, but also simplified the procedure, and made the extraction a higher yield. At the same time the results obtained by the three MAE procedures were also compared with each other.

A variety of 4＇- and 3-C-aryl-quercetin derivatives were conveniently synthesized via Suzuki-Miyaura coupling of the corresponding quercetin-O-triflates with aryl boronic acids or boronates.     

Flavonoid triglycosides from the seeds of Camellia oleifera Abel

Two flavonoid triglycosides, kaempferol 3-O-{ β-D-glucopyranosyl-（1→2）-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-（1→ 6）]-β-D-glucopyranoside} （1） and kaempferol 3-O-{ β-D-xylopyranosyl-（1 → 2）-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-（1→6）]-β-D-glucopyranoside } （2）, were isolated from the seed of Camellia oleifera Abel. The absolute configuration of compound 1 was established on the basis of its X-ray analysis. Their cytotoxic activities and anti-HIV-RT activities were evaluated.     

A new flavonoid from Selaginella tamariscina

6-(2-Hydroxy-5-acetylphenyl)-apigenin (1),a new flavonoid with a phenyl substituent,was first isolated from Selaginella tamariscina.Its structure was elucidated on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR as well as ESI-HR-MS spectroscopic analysis.     

Obovatachalcone和(±)-Obovatin Methyl Ether的全合成

以苯甲醛和2,4,6-三羟基苯乙酮一水合物为起始原料,经C-异戊烯基化、氧化环化、碘甲烷保护羟基、羟醛缩合反应以及催化关环等步骤,以7.2%和5.7%的总收率实现了两个天然吡喃类黄酮obovatachalcone和（±）obovatin methyl ether的全合成,其结构经¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR, IR和HR-MS（ESI）确证。     

Two New C—glucoside Flavonoids from Leaves of Crataegus pinnatifida Bge. var. major N.E.Br.

Two new C-glucoside flavonoids,namely 8-C-β-D-（2″-O-acetyl) glucofuranosyl apigenin and 3″-O-acetylvitexin, were isolated from beaves of Crataegus pinnatifida Bge. var. major N.E.Br.Their structures were elucidated by the spectroscopic means and chemical evidence.     

A new bioactive prenylated dihydroflavanoid from Dolichos tenuicaulis （Baker） Craib

A new prenylated dihydroflavonoid was obtained from the root of Dolichos tenuicaulis （Baker） Craib. The structure was elucidated as （2S）-5,2＇,6＇-trihydroxy-3＇″, 8-di （γ,γ-dimethyl-allyl）-2＇″, 2＇″-dimethylpyrano-[5＇″,6＇″： 6,7]-2＇″″,4＇″″-cyclohexadiene-1 ＇″″-one-[2＇″″,3＇″″： 3＇,4＇]-flavanone, named dolichnin A, by spectroscopic methods including UV, IR, HR-EI-MS, 1D NMR and 2D NMR techniques, and subsequently, the anticancer activity of this compound to inhibit human cancer cells＇ growth including A549, BEL-7402, Hep-3B, SMMC7721, HT-29, MCF-7, SGC-7902, K562, A498 and PC3 cell lines by MTT method was evaluated in vitro.
