Although the significant roles of magnetic induction and electromagnetic radiation in the neural system have been widely studied, their influence on Parkinson's disease (PD) has yet to be well explored. By virtue of the magnetic flux variable, this paper studies the transition of firing patterns induced by magnetic induction and the regulation effect of external magnetic radiation on the firing activities of the subthalamopallidal network in basal ganglia. We find: (i) The network reproduces five typical waveforms corresponding to the severity of symptoms: weak cluster, episodic, continuous cluster, episodic, and continuous wave. (ii) Magnetic induction is a double-edged sword for the treatment of PD. Although the increase of magnetic coefficient may lead the physiological firing activity to transfer to pathological firing activity, it also can regulate the pathological intensity firing activity with excessive β-band power transferring to the physiological firing pattern with weak β-band power. (iii) External magnetic radiation could inhibit continuous tremulous firing and β-band power of subthalamic nucleus (STN), which means the severity of symptoms weakened. Especially, the bi-parameter plane of the regulation region shows that a short pulse period of magnetic radiation and a medium level of pulse percentage can well regulate pathological oscillation. This work helps to understand the firing activity of the subthalamopallidal network under electromagnetic effect. It may also provide insights into the mechanisms behind the electromagnetic therapy of PD-related firing activity.  相似文献

分析了相对论条件下激光超短脉冲在等离子体中的传输特性 ,在傍轴近似和慢变振幅近似条件下 ,推导了折射率、电子密度、静电场以及电子空腔尺度的表达式。当激光功率超过产生自导引阈值功率时 ,激光束斑沿着传输光轴方向振荡。在有质动力产生的压力非常强时 ,聚焦光束中央部分的电子被全部排开形成电子空腔。给出了电子空腔的尺寸以及在出现电子空腔时的处理方法。在超过形成电子空腔的阈值功率 (Pc≈ 2 .5TW )时 ,空腔的尺度几乎与激光功率无关 ,这意味着电子空腔阻止了激光脉冲的进一步聚焦。  相似文献

(S)-2-[2-(p-Tolylsulfinyl)phenyl]acetaldehyde reacts with different O-silylated ketenethioacetals in the presence of Yb(OTf)3 yielding β-hydroxythioesters in high yields and diastereoselectivities. The obtained compounds were readily transformed into β-hydroxyacids and their corresponding diols. These Mukaiyama aldol reactions are a direct evidence of the ability of the sulfinyl group to control 1,5- and 1,6-asymmetric induction processes.  相似文献

Homohelicity induction of a series of propylene-linked zinc bilinone (ZnBL; linear tetrapyrrople-zinc(II) complex) dimers upon complexation with chiral amine and α-amino esters was investigated. Introduction of substituents such as dimethyl and diisobutyl to the central carbon of the propylene spacer gave rise to stabilization of the homohelical (PP and MM) conformers rather than the heterohelical (PM) conformer. As bulkiness of the substituent increased, stability of the homohelical conformers was raised. The preorganization of the homohelical structures led to significantly amplified homohelicity induction upon complexation with chiral amine and α-amino esters.  相似文献

The results of numerical simulation are presented for thermally and chemically nonequilibrium air plasma flows in a plasmatron discharge channel and underexpanded dissociated and partially ionized air jets flowing past a cylindrical model with a blunt leading edge and cooled copper surface under the experimental conditions realized in a VGU-4 100 kW induction plasmatron (Institute for Problems in Mechanics of the Russian Academy of Sciences) (see, for example, [1, 2]). The nonequilibrium excitation of the vibrational degrees of freedom of the molecules in the modal approximation and the difference between the electron and translational heavy-particle temperatures are taken into account in the calculations. The calculated data on the heat transfer and pressure at the stagnation point are compared with the results obtained within the framework of the thermally equilibrium model. Comparison with the experimental data obtained in the Institute for Problem in Mechanics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Laboratory for interaction between plasma and radiation and materials) and kindly provided for comparison purposes gives satisfactory agreement.  相似文献

We studied simulations by computer graphics to estimate the steric mechanism of the asymmetric polymerization of prochiral diene monomers in channels of inclusion compounds of steroidal bile acids, such as deoxycholic acid (DCA) and cholic acid. We applied a hierarchization method to interpret the crystal structures of bile acids, clarifying that the chiral host molecules associated to form characteristic 21-helical assemblies with uneven surfaces. A detailed analysis of the uneven channels in a close-packing state indicated that there were many possible arrangements of the monomers in the channels. The plausible arrangements in the channel could explain a previous study, which showed that the polymerization in the DCA channel yielded chiral polymers with a predominant configuration from prochiral diene monomers, such as 2-methyl-trans-1,3-pentadiene. On the basis of such simulation studies of the arrangements of guest monomers in the channel, we examined a plausible steric mechanism for asymmetric inclusion polymerization. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 稀土固体是重要的激光和光电子材料。目前 ,由于以宽带信号和太赫兹比特数据传输率为特征的信息技术的发展 ,稀土固体材料的相干瞬态动力学过程成为宽带与高速信息光子学的基本物理问题之一。研究了室温下稀土粉末样品Eu3+ ∶Y2 O3自由感应衰减的相干瞬态光谱 ,这有助于理解有效的光吸收动力学、激发态弛豫、相干能量传递和超短光脉冲在稀土固体中的传播。用一对紫外飞秒相干光脉冲作用于稀土粉末样品Eu3+ ∶Y2 O3,然后监测物质激发态的布居数随两个激发脉冲之间的延时的变化 ,测量到其自由感应衰减量子拍 (FID) ,从拍频周期分析确定了其能级精细结构 ,能级的退相时间长达皮秒量级。理论分析和实验结果符合得很好。对稀土离子的量子干涉的研究 ,表明其在受激受控光放大方面具有潜在的应用前景  相似文献

We have examined experimentally the motional spectrum of an electron cloud confined in a Penning trap. When the axial oscillation is excited by a radio frequency field the resonance exhibits a double structure. Both components depend differently on the number of trapped electrons and have different shape and width. We conclude that one of them corresponds to the excitation of the individual electrons while the other is the center-of-mass mode of the cloud. The threshold behaviour of the center-of-mass resonance suggests that it is a parametric instability of a Mathieu type equation of motion.
