Gerbes and twisted orbifold quantum cohomology

In this paper,we construct an orbifold quantum cohomology twisted by a flat gerbe. Then we compute these invariants in the case of a smooth manifold and a discrete torsion on a global quotient orbifold.     

Positive divisors in symplectic geometry

In this paper, we first prove a vanishing theorem of relative Gromov-Witten invariant of ?¹-bundle. Based on this vanishing theorem and degeneration formula, we obtain a comparison theorem between absolute and relative Gromov-Witten invariant under some positive condition of the symplectic divisor.     

Transfiguration of extracting mirror in synchrotron radiation system at SSRF

The first extracting mirror is very important for synchrotron radiation monitor (SRM). The SRM system of SSRF (Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility) should extract the visible light with low optical distortion. The analysis of SR power spectrum and heat transfiguration based on Matlab is introduced in this paper, which will be used in calibration. One beryllium mirror with water-cooling is used to transmit X-ray and reflect visible light to satisfy the measurement request. The existing system suffers from a dynamic problem in some beam physics study. The system includes optics, image acquisition and interferometers. One of the instruments is a digital camera providing the image of the beam transverse profile. The hardware configuration will be summarized. The synchrotron radiation measurement system has been in operation in SSRF for more than one year.     

Digital bunch-by-bunch transverse feedback system at SSRF

In order to suppress multi-bunch couple instabilities caused by transverse impedance, a bunch-by-bunch transverse feedback system based on a FPGA digital processor is commissioned at SSRF storage ring. The RF front end has two COD pre-rejected attenuators for increasing the system arrangement and signal noise ratio, and the 3*RF Local signal comes from the BPM’s sum signal using a FIR filter for avoiding the effect of longitudinal oscillation. The digital processor receives the coupled horizontal and vertical oscillation signals in the base band and transforms the coupled signals to the horizontal and vertical feedback signals with two series double-zeroes FIR filters. A matlab GUI is applied for producing the FIR coefficients when the tune is shifted. The horizontal and vertical Kickers have a special design for increasing the shunt impedance. Then the multi-bunch instabilities are suppressed respectively and the minimum damping time is about 0.4 ms.
