The sensitivity of the19F spin-lattice relaxation dispersion, T1,(ω), to motional disorder in crystalline superionic conductors of the type La1?xSrxF3?x (x = 0; 0.03) is shown. T1 times are measured in the frequency range from 90 kHz to 370 MHz using standard techniques in combination with field-cycling. The relaxation dispersion shows qualitative differences from the standard Bloembergen-Purcell-Pound behavior. At low frequencies a relaxation model using a distribution of correlation times for diffusing ions is found to be consistent with the experimental results. At frequencies higher than 50 MHz another process of the Debye type which is not induced by ionic hopping dominates the relaxation. 相似文献

Using a precise technique of scanning microcalorimetry the heat capacity differences between water and dilute aqueous solutions of ethanol, n-propanol, n-butanol and n-pentanol were measured from 5 to 125°C and the partial molar heat capacities of these substances in water were determined. It was found that the heat capacity increment for alcohol disolved in water is proportional to the number of the-CH

groups and decrease with a temperature increase. The heat capacity increment of hydration of non-polar groups is shown to be positive and large at room temperature and decreases in magnitude as the temperature increases. In contrast, the heat capacity increment of hydration of polar groups is negative at room tempreature and increases as the temperature increases. From the temperature dependence of the heat capacity increment one can assume that the water molecules solvated by the non-polar groups of the alcohols behave in a non-cooperative manner. 相似文献

The design, construction, and performance of a low-inductance solenoidal coil with high B(0) homogeneity for fast-field-cycling NMR is presented. It consists of six concentric layers. The conductor width is varied to minimize the B(0) inhomogeneity in the volume of the sample. This is done using an algorithm which takes the real shape of the conductor directly into account. The calculated coil geometry can be manufactured easily using standard computerized numeric control equipment, which keeps the costs low. The coil is liquid cooled and produces a B(0) field of 0.95 T at 800 A. The field inhomogeneity in a cylindrical volume (diameter 5 mm, length 10 mm) is about 10 ppm, and the inductance is 190 microH. Switching times below 200 micros can be achieved. During 6 months of operation the coil has shown good stability and reliability. 相似文献
