We report extensive computational studies of some novel intermolecular systems and their properties. Recombination of alkali-halide counterions separated by a noncovalently trapped hydrocarbon molecule is prevented by significant potential energy barriers, resulting in unusual metastable insertion complexes. These systems are extremely polar, while the inserted molecule is strongly counter-polarized, leading to significant cooperative nonadditivity effects. The compression and electric field produced by the counterions favours isomerization of the trapped molecule via a significant reduction of the barriers to bond rearrangement, in a field-induced mechanochemical process. The predicted IR intensity spectra clearly reflect (1) formation of the insertion complex, rather than simple attachment of alkali halide, and (2) isomerization of the trapped molecule, thus allowing experimental access to these events.  相似文献

The effect of electron-beam irradiation on the catalytic properties of PdO/CeO2 has been examined. It has been found that irradiation in the range of 15–30 kGy results in an increase in the concentration of the radical anion [O?], thereby enhancing the catalytic activity of PdO/CeO2.  相似文献

Iron-nickel contact surfaces subjected to ion-induced modification are studied by AES, XPS and AFM. The corrosion and erosion resistance of the modified contacts is associated with features of the surface topography, and with the formation of iron and nickel nitride layers. The fine energy structure of the atomic state is revealed. Ion irradiation of the contact surfaces yields the formation of pores and cones.  相似文献

New hybrid materials based on Pt, Fe, and Pt–Fe nanoparticles stabilized in a matrix of polymethylsilsesquioxane nanogel and ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) were prepared. Metal vapor synthesis was used to produce mono- and bimetallic nanoparticles. It was shown that organosilicon nanogel effectively stabilizes Pt nanoparticles with an average size of 0.9 nm. Using the nanogel results in the formation of superparamagnetic Fe particles 3–5 nm in size that consist of ferromagnetic Fe0 core and antiferromagnetic shells of Fe oxides. It is established that using an organosilicon matrix in the formation of Pt-Fe/UHMWPE systems helps reduce the average particle size of Fe in the material from 6.5 to 4.5 nm and narrow their particle size distribution. The composition, magnetic and electronic characteristics of the nanocomposites are studied via transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Mössbauer spectroscopy, XANES, and EXAFS.  相似文献

A method for synthesizing iron-containing nanocomposite based on fibroporous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is described. Fibroporous PTFE obtained under the radiation of a CO2 laser on block PTFE is modified in supercritical carbon dioxide (sc CO2) to form micro- and nanoporous structures. Porous fluoropolymer is treated with a solution of bis(toluene)iron(0) obtained by metal-vapor synthesis (MVS). The composition and structure of iron-containing fluoropolymer is studied by transmission electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron and Mössbauer spectroscopy. Fe nanoparticles with an average size of 9 nm, consisting of ~30% FeO and ~70% Fe3+, are registered in the sample. Fe0 nanoparticles are stabilized in fluoropolymer pores and are coated with nanoparticles of nonstoichiometric iron oxides that have superparamagnetic properties.  相似文献
