The X‐ray standing‐wave method was applied to study the elemental composition and molecular organization of ordered protein films of alkaline phosphatase exposed to different xenobiotics (drug compounds, lead). Binding of metal ions from triply distilled water to protein molecules has been experimentally observed. Definite differences in the arrangement of impurity metal ions in the films have been established. The considerable enhancement of protein–metal interactions is attributed to partial rearrangement of the protein native structure, induced by xenobiotics.  相似文献

The process of formation of surface structures in a paratellurite crystal (α-TeO2) in an external electric field has been studied by in situ X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements. This process is reversible and its dynamics (duration of tens of minutes) corresponds to the formation of a screening layer near the insulator–metal interface owing to the counter migration of oxygen ions and vacancies in the external electric field. The formation of domains has been observed in the experiment as the broadening and splitting of the XRD curve and is explained by mechanical stresses that appear in the high electric field near the surface in view of the piezoelectric effect and are responsible for a ferroelectric α–β phase transition. A change in the lattice parameter near the anode (surface of the crystal with a positive external charge) has been detected simultaneously. This change is due to the local rearrangement of the crystal structure because of the inflow of oxygen ions in this region and outflow of oxygen vacancies.  相似文献

The purely resonant Bragg reflections (13, 13, 0) and (14, 0, 0) in yttrium aluminum garnet Y3Al5O12 at energies near the K absorption edge of yttrium have been studied experimentally and theoretically. The anisotropic tensor atomic factor of yttrium corresponding to dipole-dipole resonance transitions depends on three independent parameters changing with energy. The intensities of the reflections (14, 0, 0) and (13, 13, 0) are shown to depend on the parameter difference f 1(E) − f 2(E) and the parameter f 3(E), respectively, which are attributable to distortions of the wave functions of the excited atoms and change greatly with photon energy E. Studying various reflections has allowed one to determine the various components of the tensor atomic factor and to compare them with the results of numerical calculations.  相似文献
