关于减反射膜的一个问题

讨论减反射膜反射的电场和光的能量问题,指出它们的不同之处.强调光的能量是由总电场,而不是由分电场决定的.从而澄清关于减反射膜的增加透射的误解.给出的例子显示减反射膜的相消干涉主要由第一和第二反射决定.     

EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES ON INTERMITTENT PHENOMENA IN A PLASMA

An intermittent process occurring in a low-temperature plasma discharge has been investigated. During a continuous scan of the discharge voltage, one kind of intermittency evolves from random upward bursts to a periodic oscillation, while the other evolves to chaos from random downward bursts. A critical exponent concerning the onset of the latter intermittency is quantitatively determined to be γ= 0.912.     

OBSERVATIONS OF HOMOCLINIC CHAOS THROUGH ALTERNATING PERIODIC-CHAOTIC SEQUENCES IN A NONLINEAR CIRCUIT

Homoclinic chaos in the alternating periodic-chaotic sequences is observed in a nonlinear circuit with sinusoidal driving force. In particular, a complete Alternating Periodic-Chaotic sequence is recorded with a high-resolution up to P⁽⁸⁾ state. The experimental results, analyzed by constructing the time of flight and the next maximal amplitude return maps, are in good agreement with the scenario described by Shilnikov. The underlying dynamics of homoclinic chaos is determined from the next amplitude return map, to be that of a unimodal map and thus a strong dissipation case.     

再论空穴和霍尔效应

笔者曾谈论过空穴和霍尔效应问题[1],试图回答,在本质上都是电子移动的情况下, 为什么自由电子导电 (n 型半导体)和空穴导电 (p 型半导体)会出现相反方向的霍尔电压.笔者想用更通俗的方式再论述一下此问题.     

Fully Developed Convective Heat Transfer of Power Law Fluids in a Circular Tube

We present a theoretical analysis for fully developed convective beat transfer in a circular tube for power law fluids by assuming that the thermal diffusivity is a function of temperature gradient. The analytical eolution is obtained and the heat transfer behaviour is investigated under a constant heat flux boundary condition. It is shown that the Nusselt number strongly depends on the value of power law index n. The Nusselt number sharply decreases in the range of 0 〈 n 〈 0.1. However, for n 〉 0.5, the Nusselt number decreases monotonically with the increasing n, and for n 〉 20, the values of Nusselt number approach a constant.     

霍尔效应中的空穴

霍尔效应(Hall effect)可以用来测定金属和半导体中的载流子符号.霍尔系数定义为RH=Ey/jxH其中Ey,jx,H分别为电场、电流密度和磁场(图1).如果RH＜0,那就意味着Ey沿着-y方向,载流子的符号为负(即电子);如果RH＞0,那就意味着Ey沿着y方向,载流子的符号为正,称之为空穴(holes).     

一种重要的非线性现象——间歇

因为无论是在混沌形成研究过程中，还是混沌形成之后继续处于发展变化之中，都有可能观察到间歇的存在并对系统的运动形式产生重大的影响，所以近年来混沌中间歇现象的研究越来越来引人注目，文章结合实验现象和本实验室在间歇实验方面的研究工作，介绍了四种间歇各自的特点，给出了对应的数学模型，分析了间歇研究的意义，现状以及有待进一步探讨的问题。
