激光高能X射线成像中探测器表征与电子影响研究

基于激光尾场加速电子的高能X射线源具有高光子能量与小源尺寸的特点,在高空间分辨无损检测方面发挥着十分重要的作用.在X光机上测量了CsI针状闪烁屏、锗酸铋(BGO)闪烁阵列与DRZ闪烁屏的本征空间分辨率,并模拟了三类探测器对高能X射线的能量沉积响应,其中CsI针状闪烁屏的空间分辨率高达8.7 lp/mm.采用Ta转换靶产生的高能X射线开展透视照相,能够分辨最高面密度33.0 g/cm~2的两层客体结构.开展了X射线照相、X射线与电子混合照相以及电子照相三种情况的比对实验,在X射线产额不足或探测效率不够情况下采用X射线与电子混合透视照相的方案,以牺牲对比度为代价,能较大程度地提高图像信号强度.     

Complex thermal evaluation for 2,2′-azobis(isobutyronitrile) by non-isothermal and isothermal kinetic analysis methods

Azo compounds are widely used in dyes, pigments, blowing agents, and initiators. Unfortunately, these compounds contain the bivalent –N–N– composition which might be cleavaged readily even under high ambient temperature. The self-accelerating decomposition might cause a runaway reaction and lead to a fire or explosion when the cooling system fails or other upsets occur. To investigate the thermal stability parameters of 2,2′-azobis(isobutyronitrile) with thermal hazard and mechanism, differential scanning calorimetry and thermal activity monitor III were applied with non-isothermal method and isothermal method to obtain onset temperature (T ₀), maximum temperature (T _max), and heat of decomposition (ΔH _d). Thermal stability parameters play a pivotal role in thermal analysis, leading particularly to complex evaluation of the inherently safer design during preparation, processing, transport, or storage. The results provide sufficient thermokinetic parameters for process safety in terms of proactive loss prevention program.     

Exopolysaccharides and Antimicrobial Biosurfactants Produced by Paenibacillus macerans TKU029

Paenibacillus macerans TKU029 can produce exopolysaccharides (EPSs; 3.46 g/L) and a biosurfactant (1.78 g/L) in a medium with 2 % (w/v) squid pen powder as the sole carbon/nitrogen source. The biosurfactant can reduce the surface tension of water from 72.30 to 35.34 mN/m at a concentration of 2.76 g/L and reach an emulsification index of 56 % after a 24-h reaction with machine oil. This biosurfactant is stable at 121 °C for 20 min, over a pH range from 3 to 11, and in <5 % salt solutions. It also shows significant antimicrobial activity, which remains active after treatment at 121 °C and at pH values from 4 to 10, against Escherichia coli BCRC13086, Staphylococcus aureus BCRC10780, Fusarium oxysporum BCRC32121 and Aspergillus fumigatus BCRC30099. Furthermore, human skin shows from 37.3 to 44.3 % hydration after being treated with TKU029 EPSs for 180 min. These results imply that EPSs and the biosurfactant from this strain have potential in cosmetics, for removal of oil contamination, and as antimicrobial agents.     

低频标准真空涨落的测量

采用自平衡零拍方案, 对低频段的标准量子真空涨落进行了测量. 实验确定了该系统的饱和光功率约为3.2 mW. 在10 Hz–400 kHz的频率范围内, 系统的共模抑制比平均为55 dB, 在100 Hz处高达63 dB, 对激光经典技术噪声具有很强的抑制作用. 当入射光功率为400 μ W 时, 真空涨落噪声达到11 dB. 此低频量子真空噪声探测系统可广泛应用于量子计量和量子光学等研究领域.     

Self-Injection and Acceleration of Monoenergetic Electron Beams from Laser Wakefield Accelerators in a Highly Relativistic Regime

Self-injection and acceleration of monoenergetic electron beams from laser wakefield accelerators are first investigated in the highly relativistic regime, using 100 TW class, 27 fs laser pulses. Quasi-monoenergetic multi- bunched beams with energies as high as multi-hundredMeV are observed with simultaneous measurements of side-scattering emissions that indicate the formation of self-channelfing and self-injection of electrons into a plasma wake, referred to as a ＇bubble＇. The three-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations confirmed multiple self-injection of electron bunches into the bubble and their beam acceleration with gradient of 1.5 GeV/cm.

The analytical results are obtained by taking the overall efficiency and background into account.

Taxumairols X--Z,new taxoids from Taiwanese Taxus mairei

In addition to 19-dydroxybaccatin III, 1beta-hydroxy-5 alpha-deacetylbaccatin I, taxayuntin G and 13-O-deacetyltaxumairol Z (4), three new taxane diterpenoids, taxumairols X (1), Y (2), Z (3) have been isolated from extracts of the Formosan Taxus mairei (LEMEE & LEVL.) S. Y. HU. Compounds 1-2 belong to the 11(15-->1)-abeo-taxane system, having a tetrahydrofuran ring at C-2, C-3, C-4 and C-20. The new compound 3 and 4, which was misidentified previously are derivatives of 11(15-->1)-abeo-taxane with an intact oxirane system. The structures of compounds 1-4 were elucidated on the basis of extensive two dimensional (2D)-NMR analysis.
