In the present work, the Adaptive-Weight Genetic Algorithm was employed in order to determine the gear shifting strategies that allow an automobile to work in the best compromise among fuel consumption, engine emissions, and vehicle performance. For the assessment of each of the three objective functions, a simulation model based on engine data and on the well-established equations of the longitudinal dynamics was developed. The driving cycle chosen for the calculations was the FTP-75, which takes into account both cold and hot starts, meaning that the transient operation during the warm-up of the catalyst is also considered.  相似文献

Subcooled pool boiling of Al2O3/water nanofluid (0.1 vol%) was investigated. Scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy were used to observe surface features of the wire heater where nanoparticles had deposited. A layer of aggregated alumina particles collected on the heated surface, where evidence of fluid shear associated with bubble nucleation and departure was “fossilized” in the fluidized nano-porous surface coating. These structures contain evidence of the fluid forces present in the microlayer prior to departure and provide a unique understanding of boiling phenomena. A unique mode of heat transfer was identified in nanofluid pool boiling.  相似文献

For environmental quality assessment, INAA has been applied for determining chemical elements in small (200 mg) and large (200 g) samples of leaves from 200 trees. By applying the Ingamells’ constant, the expected percent standard deviation was estimated in 0.9–2.2% for 200 mg samples. Otherwise, for composite samples (200 g), expected standard deviation varied from 0.5 to 10% in spite of analytical uncertainties ranging from 2 to 30%. Results thereby suggested the expression of the degree of representativeness as a source of uncertainty, contributing for increasing of the reliability of environmental studies mainly in the case of composite samples.  相似文献

A bounded operator defined on a Banach space is said to be polaroid if every isolated point of the spectrum is a pole of the resolvent. In this paper we consider the two related notions of left and right polaroid, and explore them together with the condition of being a-polaroid. Moreover, the equivalences of Weyl type theorems and generalized Weyl type theorems are investigated for left and a-polaroid operators. As a consequence, we obtain a general framework which allows us to derive in a unified way many recent results, concerning Weyl type theorems (generalized or not) for important classes of operators.  相似文献

We present here the results on the synthesis of functionalized alkynyl tellurides using the reaction of vinyl, alkynyl, and aryl tellurides with several alkynyl iodides catalyzed by copper iodide. The reaction proceeded cleanly under mild reaction conditions, at room temperature, in the absence of base and ligand giving alkynyl tellurides in acceptable yields. The obtained compounds 3a-c and 3m-o were screened for antidepressive-like activity using the tail suspension test (TST) in mice. Compounds 3a-c and 3m-o administered at 10 mg/kg by oral route produced a significant antidepressant-like effect on the TST in mice.  相似文献

The grafting of a typical methacrylate monomer (MMA) to polypropylene (PPE) and cellulose initiated by UV and ionising radiation is reported. The effect of additives which constitute components in radiation curing on the grafting process is examined. Additives studied include photoinitiators (PIs), multifunctional acrylates and methacrylates and acrylate oligomers. Synergistic effects when these additives are combined in the same solution are reported. The photografting studies have been extended to include grafting with charge transfer (CT) complexes involving donor/acceptor (DA) monomers to PPE, cellulose and wool. The importance of this work in conventional and PI free curing is discussed, particularly the significance of concurrent grafting during curing.  相似文献

Developing a bifunctional catalyst with low cost and high catalytic performance in NaBH4 hydrolysis for H2 generation and selective reduction of nitroaromatics will make a significant impact in the field of sustainable energy and water purification. Herein, a low-loading homogeneously dispersed Pd oxide-rich Co3O4 polyhedral catalyst (PdO-Co3O4) with concave structure is reported by using a metal–organic framework (MOF)-templated synthesis method. The results show that the PdO-Co3O4 catalyst has an exceptional turnover frequency (3325.6 molH2 min−1 molPd−1), low activation energy (43.2 kJ mol−1), and reasonable reusability in catalytic H2 generation from NaBH4 hydrolysis. Moreover, the optimized catalyst also shows excellent catalytic performance in the NaBH4 selective reduction of 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminiphenol with a high first-order reaction rate of approximately 1.31 min−1. These excellent catalytic properties are mainly ascribed to the porous concave structure, monodispersed Pd oxide, as well as the unique synergy between PdO and Co3O4 species, which result in a large specific surface area, high conductivity, and fast solute transport and gas emissions.  相似文献
