Method of factorization in unsteady problems of gravity-elastic wave excitation in a fluid with a partially free boundary

An approach to the solution of unsteady problems with mixed boundary conditions for a layer of heavy fluid is developed. The plane problem of wave excitation by displacements given in a certain region of the lower boundary of the layer when the upper boundary is partially covered by an elastic plate is examined by way of illustration. As distinct from [1, 2], the proposed approach makes it possible to construct a solution in the form of a sum of harmonics and to carry out an analytic investigation into the nature of the propagation and stabilization of the wave fields. Synthesis of a novel chelating ligand from pentane-2,4-dione and 3-aminopropyl[tris(trimethylsilyloxy)]silane. europium(III) and erbium(III) imino enolates

Acetylacetone reacts with 3-aminopropyl[tris(trimethylsilyloxy)]silane to give a mixture of the isomers 4-[3′-tris(trimethylsilyloxy)silylpropyl]iminopent-2-en-2-ol (90%) and 4-[3′-tris(trimethylsilyloxy)silylpropyl]aminopent-3-en-2-one (10%). According to ¹H and ¹³C NMR data, both isomers exist in the cis-and trans-forms. Anhydrous europium(III) and erbium(III) tris{4-[3′-tris(trimethylsilyloxy)silylpropyl]iminopent-2-en-2-olates} were obtained from the mixture of the isomers and the corresponding propan-2-olates Eu(OPr _i )₃ and Er(OPr _i )₃. The resulting complexes are transparent air-stable liquids that are distillable in vacuo and well soluble in photopolymerizable polyorganosiloxane caoutchoucs and urethane acrylate oligomers. The volatility parameters of the europium(III) complex were studied.     

Mass spectrometric study of desoxyamino sugars

Conclusions The mass spectra of ten 3,4-didesoxy-3-amino sugars have been studied. The effect of the relative location of the double bond and the alkoxy group on the mass-spectrometric behavior of alkoxydihydropyranes

Conclusions The mass spectra ofthree 6-alkoxy-³-dihydropyranes and of three 6-alkoxy-²-dihydropyranes have been studied. As distinct from the previously studied 2-alkoxy-³-dihydropyranes, the dominant fragmentation pattern for the compounds under investigation is by retrodiene degradation. Amination of anthra [ 1, 9-c,d ] isoxazol-6-ones

The behavior of 3,5-dihalo derivatives of anthra[1, 9-c,d]isoxazol-6-one with respect to primary and secondary amines was studied. 5-Chloroanthra[1,9-c,d]isoxazol-6-one undergoes amination particularly readily. The products of the reaction of isoxazoles with amines are the corresponding amino derivatives. The amination of 5-chloroanthra[1,9-c,d] isoxazol-6-one in refluxing dimethylformamide (DMF) is accompanied by reductive cleavage of the isoxazole ring and the formation of 1-amino-4-arylaminoanthraquinones. Amination in the 5 position with substitution of a hydride ion takes place primarily in the reaction of 3-chloroanthra[1,9-c,d]isoxazol-6-one with benzylamine of cyclohexylamine, whereas the chlorine in the 3 position is replaced by the action of morpholine or piperidine on the same substrate.Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 7, pp. 912–915, July, 1980.     

Reaction of 5-chloroanthra[1,9-cd]-6-isoxazolone with oxygen-containing nucleophiles

Facile nucleophilic substitution of the chloride ion to give 5-alkoxy- or 5-aryloxy-anthra[1,9-cd]-6-isoxazolones occurs in the reaction of 5-chloroanthra[1,9-cd]-6-isoxazolone with alcohols and phenols.
