Special features of the formation of PbS nanocrystals in Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films of lead stearate and behenate under the action of H2S are studied. Higher manganese silicides (HMSs) exhibit interesting thermoelectric and optoelectronic properties. Development of HMS-based thermoelements and microthermopiles of different designs may meet a number of problems, which can be solved only when the real structure of crystals and thin layers on which they are based is established. We have applied scanning and transmission electron microscopy and electron diffraction to investigate HMS crystals of two types: single crystals grown from melt by the Bridgman method and microislands formed by reactive diffusion during manganese vapor deposition on silicon substrates. The exact phase composition of these materials is established: matrix HMS crystal belonging to tetragonal system (Mn4Si7 composition) and precipitates of cubic manganese monosilicide MnSi. The shape and sizes of precipitates are determined, the crystallographic relationships between the tetragonal and cubic phases are found, and the interface is investigated.  相似文献

The structural variation in multilayer Langmuir-Blodgett films of lead stearate caused by heat treatment under different conditions in the temperature range 20–100°C is investigated by X-ray reflectometry and high-resolution electron diffraction. Successive annealing of the samples is shown to not alter the initial layered structure at temperatures of 60, 80, and 100°C; partial disturbance of the layered structure occurs upon successive annealing at 80°C and 100°C. Significant disturbance of the structure is observed when the films are heated immediately to 100°C. In all these cases, the orthorhombic (pseudomonoclinic) lattice, with the lattice constants: a = 0.496, b = 0.738, c = 9.60 nm, α = β = γ = 90°, space group P2/1b, formed by transferring monolayers onto the substrate is retained in the crystalline domains of the film.  相似文献

The structures have been analyzed of the monolayers of comblike precursor polymers of polyimides and mixed cellulose esters formed at the water/air interface and of the Langmuir-Blodgett films obtained by transfer of these condensed monolayers onto solid substrates. The important factors that ensure the structure control and supramolecular organization of these monolayers and films are established.  相似文献

Nanocomposites based on a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) (low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and 1,2-polybutadiene in a ratio of 60/40) with functional titanium dioxide nanoparticles of different nature, TiO2/TPE, have been prepared and investigated by a complex of methods (X-ray diffraction analysis using X-ray and synchrotron radiation beams, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray energy-dispersive spectroscopy). The morphology of the composites is found to be somewhat different, depending on the TiO2 characteristics. It is revealed that nanocomposites with cellular or porous structures containing nano-TiO2 aggregates with a large specific surface and large sizes of crystallites and nanoparticles exhibit the best deformation?strength and fatigue properties and stability to the effect of active media under conditions of ozone and vapor?air aging.  相似文献

A model crystalline approximant of the surface layer (SL) structure of liquid mercury is formed using the algorithm, previously applied to form a crystalline approximant of the SL structure of water, the experimental data on the SL structure of mercury, and the stereochemical data for Hg atoms in the α-Hg crystalline phase and bulk liquid mercury. The correspondence of the metrics of the crystalline approximant proposed for the SL structure of mercury and Langmuir monolayers composed of organic molecules with hydrocarbon tails and different hydrophilic groups on liquid mercury to the position of molecules along mercury SL is shown.  相似文献
