Herein, we report the synthesis of new covalent organic polymer comprising triazine and o-tolidine by solvothermal method. The formation of polymer was confirmed by Fourier transform infra red spectroscopy (FT-IR), cross polarization–magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), transmission electron microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy. Their antibacterial activity toward S. aureus (gram-positive) and P. aeruginosa (gram-negative) was assessed by the optical density measurements and direct contact method. These results have great significance toward the design of new porous polymers for antibacterial applications. 相似文献

Here we report a temperature-dependent Raman study of the pyrochlore “dynamic spin-ice” compound Pr2Sn2O7 and compare the results with its non-pyrochlore (monoclinic) counterpart Pr2Ti2O7. In addition to phonon modes, we observe two bands associated with electronic Raman scattering involving crystal field transitions in Pr2Sn2O7 at ∼135 and 460 cm−1 which couple strongly to phonons. Anomalous temperature dependence of phonon frequencies that are observed in pyrochlore Pr2Sn2O7 are absent in monoclinic Pr2Ti2O7. This, therefore, confirms that the strong phonon-phonon anharmonic interactions, responsible for the temperature-dependent anomalous behavior of phonons, arise due to the inherent vacant sites in the pyrochlore structure. 相似文献

A promising electrochemical sensor based nickel‐carbon nanotube (Ni‐CNT) modified on glassy carbon (GC) electrode had been developed and the properties of the modified electrode were characterized by multispectroscopic analysis. The fabricated sensor (GC/Ni‐CNT) electrode was utilized to determine the catecholamines such as epinephrine and dopamine simultaneously. Differential pulse voltammetry and amperometry were used to verify the electrochemical behavior of the studied compounds. The GC/Ni‐CNT based amperometric sensor showed a wide linear range and low detection limit with high analytical sensitivity of 8.31 and 6.61 μA μM?1 for EP and DA, respectively which demonstrates better characteristics compared to other electrodes reported in the literature. Further, no significant change in amperometric current response was observed in presence of biological interference species such as glucose, cysteine, citric acid, uric acid and ascorbic acid in the detection of EP and DA. The utility of this GC/Ni‐CNT electrode was well established for the determination of EP and DA in human urine samples. 相似文献

Simultaneous electrochemical generation and functionalization of nano-sized graphite from graphite had been carried out in a non-fluoroanion-based ionic liquid, namely, triethylmethylammonium methylsulfate (TEMAMS) containing water and acetonitrile (AN) in different weight ratios. The oxygen-based functional groups attached with the exfoliated material had been identified using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and morphological changes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). A symmetrical supercapacitor was fabricated using the exfoliated nano-sized graphite, and the influence of surface functionalities on its performance was investigated using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic voltammetry (CV), and galvanostatic charge–discharge cycles (CC). The highest specific capacitance (C sp) value of 140 F g?1 at 0.25 A g?1 was obtained in 1.0 M H2SO4, followed by aqueous TEMAMS (125 F g?1), TEMAMS/acetonitrile (115 F g?1), and TEMAMS (106 F g?1) at 0.10 A g?1. 相似文献

Thin films of Ti1−xCoxO2 (x=0 and 0.03) have been prepared on sapphire substrates by spin-on technique starting from metalorganic precursors. When heat treated in air at 550 and 700 °C, respectively, these films present pure anatase and rutile structures as shown both by X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy. Optical absorption indicate a high degree of transparency in the visible region. Such films show a very small magnetic moment at 300 K. However, when the anatase and the rutile films are annealed in a vacuum of 1×10−5 Torr at 500 and 600 °C, respectively, the magnetic moment, at 300 K, is strongly enhanced reaching 0.36μB/Co for the anatase sample and 0.68μB/Co for the rutile one. The ferromagnetic Curie temperature of these samples is above 350 K. 相似文献

Thermopower measurements on the system Nd0.7Pr0.3Ba2−kSrkCu3O7 show that the insulator-superconductor transition for k≥0.2 is accompanied by hole delocalization. Arguments are presented to show that Sr substitution reduces the hybridization between Pr 4f and O2pπ-orbitals and increases the hole density to sustain superconductivity. 相似文献

The antibacterial drug ciprofloxacin (cfH) has been used to protect gold nanoparticles of two different mean diameters, 4 and 20 nm. The protection is complete with about 65 and 585 cfH molecules covering 4 and 15 nm particles, respectively. The nature of binding has been investigated by several analytical techniques. The nitrogen atom of the NH moiety of piperazine group binds on the gold surface, as revealed by voltammetric and spectroscopic studies. The cfH-adsorbed particles are stable in the dry state as well as at room temperature, and as a result, redispersion is possible. The rate of release of the drug molecule from the nanoparticles is more in the basic medium than in pure water, and the kinetics depend on the size of the particle; faster desorption is seen in smaller particles. The bound cfH is fluorescent, and this property could be used in biological investigations. This study shows that metal nanoparticles could be useful carriers for cfH and fluoroquinolone molecules. Most of the bound molecules could be released over an extended period of time. 相似文献

We revisit the assignment of Raman phonons of rare‐earth titanates by performing Raman measurements on single crystals of O18 isotope‐rich spin ice and nonmagnetic pyrochlores and compare the results with their O16 counterparts. We show that the low‐wavenumber Raman modes below 250 cm−1 are not due to oxygen vibrations. A mode near 200 cm−1, commonly assigned as F2g phonon, which shows highly anomalous temperature dependence, is now assigned to a disorder‐induced Raman active mode involving Ti4+ vibrations. Moreover, we address here the origin of the ‘new’ Raman mode, observed below TC ~ 110 K in Dy2Ti2O7, through a simultaneous pressure‐dependent and temperature‐dependent Raman study. Our study confirms the ‘new’ mode to be a phonon mode. We find that dTC/dP = + 5.9 K/GPa. Temperature dependence of other phonons has also been studied at various pressures up to ~8 GPa. We find that pressure suppresses the anomalous temperature dependence. The role of the inherent vacant sites present in the pyrochlore structure in the anomalous temperature dependence is also discussed. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

Thin films of pure TiO2 have been prepared using both spin-coating and sputter-deposition techniques on sapphire and quartz substrates. The structural characteristics of the films have been investigated in detail using Raman spectroscopy and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). When annealed in vacuum, all films demonstrate room temperature ferromagnetism, while the air-annealed samples show much smaller, often negligible, magnetic moments. The magnetization of the vacuum-annealed sputtered samples depends on film thickness, with the volume magnetization decreasing monotonically with increasing thickness. Furthermore, the magnetization per unit area also decreases slightly with increasing film thickness. These results suggest that ferromagnetism in the vacuum-annealed TiO2 films is mediated by surface defects or interfacial effects, but does not arise from stoichiometric crystalline TiO2. 相似文献

We have investigated the effect of hydrostatic pressure as a function of temperature on the resistivity of a single crystal of the bilayer manganite (La(0.4)Pr(0.6))(1.2)Sr(1.8)Mn(2)O(7). Whereas a strong insulating behaviour is observed at all temperatures at ambient pressure, a clear transition into a metallic-like behaviour is induced when the sample is subjected to a pressure (P) of ~1.0 GPa at T < 70 K. A huge negative piezoresistance ~10(6) in the low temperature region at moderate pressures is observed. When the pressure is increased further (5.5 GPa), the high temperature polaronic state disappears and a metallic behaviour is observed. The insulator to metal transition temperature exponentially increases with pressure and the distinct peak in the resistivity that is observed at 1.0 GPa almost vanishes for P > 7.0 GPa. A modification in the orbital occupation of the e(g) electron between 3d(x(2)-y(2)) and 3d(z(2)-r(2)) states, as proposed earlier, leading to a ferromagnetic double-exchange phenomenon, can qualitatively account for our data. 相似文献
