Luminescent properties of europium(III) and terbium(III) complexes with para- and ortho-ethoxybenzoic acids

The luminescent properties of europium(III) and terbium(III) complexes with para- and ortho-ethoxybenzoic acids are studied. The excitation energies of the triplet states of ligands are determined, a hypothesis is made about the efficient luminescence of europium(III) and terbium(III) complexes, the geometry of the coordination polyhedron of a europium complex is established, and the luminescence quantum yields of the complexes in solution are determined.     

Study of the reaction of 4-chloromethylene-2,6-di-<Emphasis Type="Italic">tert</Emphasis>-butylcyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-one with the P(III) acids esters

The main stable products of the reactions 4-chloromethylene-2,6-di-tert-butylcyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-one with triethyl phosphite and ethyl diphenylphosphinite are the phosphorylated phosphorus ylides, 3,3′,5,5′-tetra-tert-butylstilbenequinone, and biphosphorylated sterically hindered phenols.     

Sequential Interaction of Enamine with O,O -Dialkyldithiophosphoric Acid and Electrophilic Reagent

The adduct of O, O-dialkyldithiophosphoric acid and enamine reacts exothermically with an electrophilic reagent. In the case of sulfenyl bromide, the iminium salt reduced at the C-Br bond and bis(dialkoxythiophosphorylthio)-disulfide have been formed, experimentally evidencing the reaction of 2-halogenated ald- and ketimines with dithioic acid via the intermediate formation of enamine.     

Synthesis of (4-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylphenyl)-chloromethanediphenylphosphine oxide and its reactions with aprotic nucleophilic reagents

Reaction of (4-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylphenyl)chloromethanediphenylchlorophosphonium chloride with trimethyl orthoformate affords (4-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylphenyl)chloromethanediphenylphosphine oxide. The latter undergoes dehydrochlorination under the action of trimethyl orthoformate and O-methyl diethylphosphinate, and with diphenylchloro- and triphenyl phosphines it gives the corresponding phosphonium salts.     

Addition of phthalimide and acetone to phosphorylated methylene quinones

New method for synthesis of phosphorylated methylene quinones via bromination of the sterically hindered phenol [prepared via benzylation of secondary chlorophosphines with 4-(methoxymethyl)-2,6-di-tert-butylphenol] with N-bromosuccinimide followed by dehydrobromination with trimethyl orthoformate has been developed. Tertiary phosphine oxides containing the fragment of sterically hindered phenol and amine or acetonyl group have been synthesized for the first time in the reaction of phosphorylated methylene quinones with N- and C-nucleophiles.
