Binuclear manganese complexes Mn2(III/IV)(dtsalpn)2DCBI, 1, Mn2(III/III)(dtsalpn)2HDCBI, 2, containing the ligand dicarboxyimidazole (DCBI) have been prepared in order to address the issue of imidazole bridged and ferromagnetically coupled Mn sites in high oxidation states of the OEC in Photosystem II (PS II). Temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility studies of 1 indicates that the interaction between the two Mn(III)/Mn(IV) ions is ferromagnetic (J = +1.4 cm(-1)). Variable temperature EPR spectra of 1 shows that a g = 2 multiline is as an excited state signal corresponding to S = 1/2.  相似文献

The use of infrared laser-assisted fluorination to release oxygen from milligram quantities of silicates or other oxide mineral grains is a well-established technique. However, relatively few studies have reported the optimisation of this procedure for oxygen-17 isotope measurements. We describe here details of an analytical system using infrared (10 μm) laser-assisted fluorination, in conjunction with a dual inlet mass spectrometer of high resolving power ( approximately 250) to provide (17)O and (18)O oxygen isotope measurements from 0.5-2 mg of silicates or other oxide mineral grains. Respective precisions (1) of typically 0.08 and 0.04 per thousand are obtained for the complete analytical procedure. Departures from the mass-dependent oxygen isotope fractionation line are quantified by Delta(17)O; our precision (1) of such measurements on individual samples is shown to be +/-0.024 per thousand. In turn, this permits the offset between parallel, mass-dependent fractionation lines to be characterised to substantially greater precision than has been possible hitherto. Application of this system to investigate the (17)O versus (18)O relationship for numerous terrestrial whole-rock and mineral samples, of diverse geological origins and age, indicates that the complete data set may be described by a single, mass-dependent fractionation line of slope 0.5244+/- 0.00038 (standard error). Transformation of various sulphur forms, including inherent and added pyrite, sulphates (CaSO4 and FeSO4) and organic sulphur, during pyrolysis of an Australian lignite was studied using TGA, TGA-MS and a fixed bed reactor, supplemented by sulphur form analysis. It was shown that hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and a small quantity of sulphur dioxide (SO2) were released during the pyrolysis of the pyrite-lignite blend. However, only SO2 was detected during the pyrolysis of the lignite with high pyrite content. Inorganic matter was found to help retaining some of the inorganic sulphur, including pyrite, in the char. Inherent sulphates decomposed at much lower temperatures than the added sulphates, releasing SO2 rather than H2S. The inherent sulphates in the lignite were dominated by iron sulphates which started to decompose and release SO2 at around 500 K and all sulphate had been decomposed at 1073 K. The retention of organic sulphur in the high organic sulphur lignite was higher than in its acid washed lignite sample, due to the interaction between inherent inorganic matter with the organic sulphur retaining the organic sulphur in the solid phase. SO2 was the only sulphur gas produced during pyrolysis of acid washed lignite. A comprehensive mechanism of sulphur transformation during pyrolysis of lignite was proposed.  相似文献

Silica nanoparticles (SiO2 NPs) are one of the most widely used engineered nanoparticles and can been found in a wide range of consumer products. Despite their massive global production scale, little is known about their potential effects in the context of unintended exposure or ingestion. Using TR146 cells as an in vitro model of the human oral buccal mucosa, the uptake, spatial intracellular distribution, reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, inflammatory response, and cytotoxic effects of commercial SiO2 NPs are examined. SiO2 NPs are shown to dock and cross the cellular membrane barrier in a dose–time‐dependent manner. Confocal sectioning reveals translocation of SiO2 NPs into the cell nucleus after 12 h of exposure. A concentration threshold of more than 500 × 10?6 m is observed, above which SiO2 NPs are shown to exert significant oxidative stress with concomitant upregulation of inflammatory genes IL6 and TNFA. Further analysis of the p53 pathway and a series of apoptotic and cell cycle biomarkers reveals intracellular accumulation of SiO2 NPs exert marginal nanotoxicity. Collectively, this study provides important information regarding the uptake, intracellular distribution, and potential adverse cellular effects of SiO2 NPs commonly found in consumer products in the human oral epithelium.  相似文献

随着流体力学中数值方法的飞速发展,计算模型已经成为研究流体运动,泥沙输运和不同环境(诸如河流,湖泊及沿海地区)中相应污染物归趋过程等方面非常有吸引力的工具,在过去的30多年里,发展了许多计算水动力学/泥沙输运模型.文章追溯当前具有代表性的(一维、二维、三维)模型的发展历程,描述他们各自的特点,优势及局限,力图作为对模型方面感兴趣读者的第一指南,同时也为大家讨论模型的局限性,未来的发展趋势和研究需求方面搭建一个平台.给出了模型的表达,时空特性,水动力学和沉积物的耦合方式,处理非恒定流,推移质和悬移质,泥沙交换过程,泥沙类型(粘性或非粘性)及非均匀泥沙输运的能力.总结了不同模型的应用实例,读者可以运用这些例子作为研究模型设置,模型率定及模型验证的参考.给出了选择泥沙输运模型应遵循的原则,模型输入及率定方面存在的问题及改进的途径.探讨了现有水动力学/泥沙输运模型在处理复杂湍流,泥沙携带,流动与输沙耦合,非均匀泥沙,离散和扩散系数,河岸来沙处理等方面的局限性及改进的方向.最后,对基于多相流思想的泥沙输运模型及其它一些交叉性问题作了评述与展望.  相似文献

Fabry–Pérot (FP) filter arrays fabricated by high-resolution three dimensional (3D) NanoImprint technology are presented. A fabrication process to implement 3D templates with very high vertical resolution is developed. Filter arrays with 64 different cavity heights have been fabricated requiring only one single imprint step. Different optical methods are involved in this paper to characterize geometric and spectral properties. In order to investigate the transfer accuracy of the surface quality from the NanoImprint template to the filter, we use white light interferometry (WLI) measurements. Surface roughness and structure height accuracy of <1 nm for both values demonstrate the conservation of these critical parameters during the 3D NanoImprint process. Additionally, an optical characterization methodology for spectral transmission and reflection measurements of the filter arrays is introduced and applied. A compact microscope spectrometer setup which allows efficient handling, high resolution and short inspection time is verified by comparing measurement results to that of an optical bench setup used as a reference. First, this paper focuses on the foundation of the FP filter arrays, second on the technological fabrication, third on validation calibration of the setup and forth on the characterization of the filter arrays. The measurements envisage the spectral position of filter transmission lines, the full width at half maximum (FWHM) and the total spectral bandwidth of the array, i.e. the stopbands of the included Distributed Bragg Reflectors (DBRs).  相似文献

The transformation of organic and inorganic sulphur during pyrolysis of a Western Australian lignite has been studied using several complimentary techniques. The lignite contains high moisture, oxygen, volatile matter, organic sulphur and inherent inorganic matter. FTIR and solid state 13C TOSS NMR spectroscopic studies revealed that the high oxygen content is attributed to the oxygenated functional groups, which is saturated with organically bonded inherent inorganic matter. Sodium and chlorine are the dominant inorganic matter and present in the form of sodium chloride. TGA-MS studies of the raw lignite showed that SO2 is the dominant sulphur-bearing gases evolved during the pyrolysis of the raw lignite. The effect of inherent and added inorganics was studied by comparing the amounts of various forms of sulphur retained in the chars of the raw lignite, the acid washed lignite and the acid washed lignite doped with sodium and kaolinite following pyrolysis in a fixed-bed reactor in nitrogen. Inherent inorganic matter was shown to reduce the decomposition of organic sulphur but has little effect on the decomposition of inorganic sulphur. Sodium helps the retention of sulphur in the chars between 400 and 500 °C while kaolinite has a better ability to retain sulphur above 600 °C.  相似文献

用苯做溶剂对原油样品进行逐级稀释,恒波长同步荧光法对原油样品中晕苯进行定性、定量分析。分别从溶剂选择、波长差、狭缝宽度等参数对其测定的光谱条件进行优化。实验结果表明:用苯为溶剂、Δλ=6nm,狭缝宽度为2.5nm,为原油样品中晕苯的最佳测试条件。所建立方法测定晕苯的线性范围为0.5—100μg/mL,校准曲线的相关系数r大于0.99,相对标准偏差小于3%(n=5)。该法分析快速、准确,对石化工厂中对原油样品中晕苯的快速检测具有一定的应用价值。  相似文献

Compound specific stable isotope analyses of managed soils using isotope ratio mass spectrometry have been undertaken as a means of determining early land use practices. delta (15)N amino acid signals demonstrate differences between manured grassland, unmanured grassland and continuous cereal cultivation under long-term experimental land use control conditions, with delta (15)N in hydrophobic amino acids providing the most distinctive signals. Analysis of early modern/medieval and of Bronze age anthropogenic soils from Orkney demonstrates that such signals are retained in archaeological contexts. delta (13)C analyses of n- alkanoic acid components of the fossil, Bronze Age, anthropogenic soils suggest a major terrestrial input to these soils, with uniform composition of formation materials. Surficial soils demonstrate the assimilation of isotopically lighter carbon, providing a means of assessing the mobility of the n- alkanoic acids within soils and sediments. We propose a novel nonvolatile threshold adaptive transistor (TAT) for neuromorphic circuits. The threshold adaptive transistor is achieved by embedding a resistive random-access memory (RRAM) material stack between the gate electrode and gate dielectric. During operation, the embedded RRAM device is kept at a high resistance state, which makes it act as a nonvolatile capacitor. The threshold could be nonlinearly adjusted by the voltage pulses applied on the gate of the transistor. We quantitatively estimate the range of the capacitance variation of the RRAM device. The threshold voltage of the TAT is simulated and shows expected variation. The simulated output of an inverter using a TAT shows a nonlinear adaptive behavior.  相似文献
