Groove guide is widely recognized as one of the most promising millimeter wave transmission structures. In this paper, the mode-matching method is used to analyse the dispersion characteristics of single and asymmetrical double groove guides, and the unified formulae of Nth-order approximation dispersion equations are presented. Based on this analysis, a general program for calculating the dispersion characteristrics of single and asymmetrical double groove guides has been completed. Some comparisons between the results obtained by present method and published data show that very good agreement has been seen. The effectiveness and the reliability of the given formulae and program are thus verified. 相似文献

We propose a geometric growth model for weighted
scale-free networks, which is controlled by two tunable parameters.
We derive exactly the main characteristics of the networks, which
are partially determined by the parameters. Analytical results
indicate that the resulting networks have power-law distributions of
degree, strength, weight and betweenness, a scale-free behavior for
degree correlations, logarithmic small average path length and
diameter with network size. The obtained properties are in agreement
with empirical data observed in many real-life networks, which shows
that the presented model may provide valuable insight into the real

MiniSTR loci have been demonstrated to be an effective approach in recovering genetic information from degraded specimens, because of the reduced PCR amplicon sizes which improved the PCR efficiency. Eight non‐combined DNA index system miniSTR loci suitable for the Chinese Han Population were analyzed in 300 unrelated Chinese Han individuals using two novel five fluorescence‐labeled miniSTR multiplex systems(multiplex I: D10S1248, D2S441, D1S1677 and D9S2157; multiplex II: D9S1122, D10S1435, D12ATA63, D2S1776 and Amelogenin). The allele frequency distribution and forensic parameters in the Chinese Han Population were reported in this article. The Exact Test demonstrated that all loci surveyed here were found to be no deviation from Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium. The accumulated power of discrimination and power of exclusion for the eight loci were 0.999999992 and 0.98, respectively. The highly degraded DNA from artificially degraded samples and the degraded forensic case work samples was assessed with the two miniSTR multiplex systems, and the results showed that the systems were quite effective. 相似文献

New synthetic strategies that exploited the strengths of both chemoselective ligation and recombinant protein expression were developed to prepare K27 di‐ubiquitins (diUb), which enabled mechanistic studies on the molecular recognition of K27‐linked Ubs by single‐molecule Förster resonance energy transfer (smFRET) and X‐ray crystallography. The results revealed that free K27 diUb adopted a compact conformation, whereas upon binding to UCHL3, K27 diUb was remodeled to an open conformation. The K27 isopeptide bond remained rigidly buried inside the diUb moiety during binding, an interesting unique structural feature that may explain the distinctive biological function of K27 Ub chains. 相似文献

MINDY-1 is a recently discovered new family of deubiquitinating enzymes(DUB),but one of its yeast homologs,YGL082 W,does not show any DUB activity in vitro.Sequence alignment shows that YGL082 W possesses the correct catalytic triad,and yet did not catalyze either the hydrolysis of di-ubiquitin,crosslinking with C-terminally propargylated ubiquitin,or hydrolysis of ubiquitin-7-amino-4-methylcoumarin.After obtaining a crystal structure of the catalytic domain of YGL082 W,we identified an interesting difference between the catalytic center loop of YGL082 W and that of its human homolog MINDY-1.Because the conformation of the catalytic center loop was previously reported to be important for the deubiquitination activity of MINDY-1,we hypothesized that Glu27(instead of the corresponding Pro136 in MINDY-1) of the catalytic center loop of YGL082 W may impair the conformational change and account for the lack of activity.This hypothesis was supported by homology modeling and molecular dynamics simulations,which showed that the Pro-to-Glu mutation(P136 E mutation for MINDY-1) creates a hydrogen bond that inhibits the conformation change of the catalytic center loop of MINDY-1.Further experiments through site-directed mutation validated this hypothesis,showing that the P27 E mutation caused MIY1(a homologous active DUB from yeast) to lose activity. 相似文献
