 The optical absorption, photoluminescence, and photoconductivity spectra of some compounds of the formulas [R(CH2) n NH3] x M y X z , [R(CH2) n NH(CH3)2] x M y X z , [R(CH2) n S(CH3)2] x M y X z , [R(CH2) n SC(NH2)2] x M y X z , and [R(CH2) n SeC(NH2)2] x M y X z (R = organic residue; M = Bi(III), Pb(II), Sn(II), Cu(I), Ag(I) etc; X = I, Br, Cl; n, x, y, z = 0, 1, 2, 3, …) are briefly reviewed, and some new results are reported. The position, intensity, and shape of the excitonic bands depend on the dimensionality and size of the inorganic network as well as on the nature of the M, X, R, and onium moieties.  相似文献

A systematic approach and a new scheme for the evaluation of the as–is encapsulation of CdSe/ZnS core/shell quantum dots into polymer matrices is proposed, aiming to the implementation of thin film photonic integrated structures. Work focuses on quantum dots capped by hexadecylamine and trioctylphosphine oxide with no ligand exchange or other intermediate processing steps involved. The polymers studied include poly(methyl–methacrylate) (PMMA), polystyrene and acrylic polymers incorporating long alkyl chains, which are expected to promote the compatibility of the quantum dot ligands to that of the polymer chains. In this approach, the variation of photoluminescence properties of the nanocomposite thin films is measured versus increased concentration of the quantum dots, so as to evaluate the suitability of each polymer structure as an efficient host. Furthermore, the refractive index of the quantum dots/polymer nanocomposite thin films are also estimated using white light reflectance spectroscopy data, as appropriate for the integration of photonic devices. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ZnS semiconductor quantum dots have been synthesized using a method involving melt exchange reaction inside the pores of MCM-41 and subsequent reaction with H(2)S. The ZnS quantum dots-MCM-41 composite, which has been studied with XRD, EDS, and BET techniques, is shown to have retained within the pores the formed quantum dots, with a size distribution exhibiting a maximum nanoparticle diameter of ca. 1.8 nm. The structure and the sorption properties of the ZnS/MCM-41 composite have been studied by means of X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and surface area measurements. All experimental data reveal that all the final composite products, containing up to 9.3 wt % ZnS as verified by EDS analysis, keep the basic structural characteristics of MCM-41 materials, without significant reduction of their active surface areas. The quantum dot optical properties have been studied with UV-vis, photoluminescence, and photoluminescence excitation spectroscopies providing evidence for the low-dimensional character of the ZnS semiconductor particles.  相似文献

The Zeeman effect of the R absorption lines for the pure compound 2[Cr(en)3Cl3]KCl.6H2O has been measured photographically, using a strong pulsed magnet with fields of up to 200 000 gauss at 77 K. The results indicate g (4 A 2) = 1·82 , g (4 A 2) = 1·90 with g (ē) = -1·82 and g (2ā) = 1·82. The uncertainties are of the order of ± 0·05.  相似文献

Abstract This paper aims to determine the minimum agri‐environmental premium per hectare that farmers should receive to reduce crop irrigation. To this end, the authors develop a mixed‐integer quadratic model using a new methodology based on traditional positive mathematical programming, which allows the inclusion in the model of crop variants that are not present in the baseline situation of the farms. What is shown is that the results obtained with this new methodology, using the cost average approach of calibration, are the same as those obtained with an empirical method, when there is no change of crop distribution after the changeover from irrigated to nonirrigated farms. The theoretical results are compared with those obtained using the calibration with exogenous elasticities and are illustrated numerically for a representative farm of an area around Spain's Tablas de Daimiel in which the use of groundwater for crop irrigation has led to the ongoing deterioration of wetlands that depend on the same source of water, endangering the region's environmental sustainability.  相似文献

Low dimensional metal sulfide particles have been prepared in the interlayers of montmorillonites via reactions of the metal ion-exchanged clay minerals in aqueous dispersions with gaseous hydrogen sulfide. The montmorillonites separated from the Wyoming (USA) and Jel?ovy Potok (Slovakia) bentonites were saturated with Pb(2+) or Zn(2+). In the final nanohybrids, the smectite mineral can be incorporated with metal sulfide pillars and/or nanoparticles. Properties of the prepared materials were investigated by various analytical techniques. The formation of metal sulfide nanoparticles in the interlayer galleries was indicated by X-ray diffraction and energy dispersive X-ray analysis. About 50% of Pb(2+) or Zn(2+) present in montmorillonite has formed metal sulfide semiconducting units. Infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis were used for characterization of starting materials and products. Ultraviolet-visible absorption and photoluminescence spectroscopies confirmed that final composite systems acquired the optical properties of the incorporated quantum low dimensional systems exhibiting blue shift of the energy gap and higher oscillator strength excitonic peaks. Larger amounts of metal sulfide nanoparticles were formed in montmorillonite Jel?ovy Potok probably as a consequence of its higher cation exchange capacity.  相似文献
