Versatile photoresponsive gels based on tripodal low molecular weight gelators (LMWGs) are reported. A cyclohexane-1,3,5-tricarboxamide (CTA) core provides face-to-face hydrogen bonding and a planar conformation, inducing the self-assembly of supramolecular polymers. The CTA core was substituted with three arylazopyrazole (AAP) arms. AAP is a molecular photoswitch that isomerizes reversibly under alternating UV and green light irradiation. The E isomer of AAP is planar, favoring the self-assembly, whereas the Z isomer has a twisted structure, leading to a disassembly of the supramolecular polymers. By using tailor-made molecular design of the tripodal gelator, light-responsive organogels and hydrogels were obtained. Additionally, in the case of the hydrogels, AAP was coupled to the core through hydrazones, so that the hydrogelator and, hence, the photoresponsive hydrogel could also be assembled and disassembled by using dynamic covalent chemistry. 相似文献

Static load-carrying capacities of circular rigid-plastic plates subjected to Gaussian distributions of pressure are presented in this paper. The effects of varying the load distribution as well as the boundary conditions are determined. We present an in-depth investigation of cyclodextrin complexes with guest compounds featuring complexation-induced room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) in aqueous solution. Very interestingly, only the complexed regioisomers bearing lateral substituents on meta-position show RTP, whereas the stronger host-guest systems with para-substituted dyes show no RTP features. The reported systems were investigated regarding their complexation behavior in water using isothermal titration calorimetry and mass spectrometry. In the case of γ-CD very strong 1 : 1 inclusion complexes (Ka up to 5.13×105 M−1) were unexpectedly observed. It was found that not only a strong binding to the cyclodextrin cavity is needed to restrict motion, inducing the emission, but also the conformation inside the cavity plays a pivotal role – as supported by an extensive NMR study and MD simulations. 相似文献

A two-dimensional electrophoresis map of Chinese hamster ovary cell proteins based on fluorescence staining 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
We report on the development of a detailed two-dimensional electrophoresis map of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell proteins based on fluorescence staining and tandem time-of-flight (TOF/TOF)-mass spectrometry. We observed a 71% success rate in the identification of proteins even though the CHO genome is not sequenced. The map consists of 224 protein identifications present in 274 two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE) gel spots. We have also initiated a study of the phosphoproteome using a commercially available phosphoprotein-specific fluorescent stain. Using this stain, we observe 672 phosphorylated proteins, including many proteins known to be phosphorylated, which is 36% of the proteins we visualized with a total protein stain and consistent with expectations. 相似文献
