Benzylic and allylic organozinc and Grignard reagents have been added to resin-bound imines to provide alpha-branched secondary amines. Many functional groups, including electrophilic groups, were compatible with this methodology. Three modules--a resin-bound primary amine, an aromatic aldehyde, and the organometallic--were independently varied to produce a combinatorial library of alpha-branched secondary amines designed as beta-3 adrenergic receptor agonists.  相似文献

The Wróblewski parameter is a convenient indicator of strangeness production and can be employed to monitor a signal of quark-gluon plasma production : enhancement of strangeness production. It has been shown to be about a factor two higher in heavy ion collisions than in hadronic collisions. Using a method proposed by us earlier, we obtained lattice QCD results for the Wróblewski parameter from our simulations of QCD with two light quarks both below and above the chiral transition. Our first principles based and parameter free result compare well with the A-A data from SPS and RHIC.Arrival of the final proofs: 24 March 2005PACS: 12.38.Mh, 12.38.GcR.V. In the lattice regularization of QCD, physical results must be independent of the choice of lattice action. Finite temperature thermodynamics provides a very sensitive test of this universality, providing a functional comparison between the predictions of different actions. We study thermodynamics using Wilson's, Manton's and Villain's actions as well as the mixed fundamental-adjoint form of Bhanot and Creutz. Our results support universality in all cases, but indicate that in general the region of couplings in present lattice calculations requires the inclusion of higher order effects in the perturbative solution of the renormalization group equation.  相似文献

We study the ideal gas of fermions on a lattice at finite density for both naive and Wilson fermions. Comparing the thermodynamical quantities thus calculated with the known results in the continuum theory, we are led to propose a modification of the naive form of the lattice action, which is same for both the naive and the Wilson fermions. The thermodynamical quantities, calculated by using this form, are shown to have the correct continuum limit.  相似文献

We propose a model of ω-π-baryonium mixing which is a natural extension of the Chew-Rosenzweig scheme to include the effects of mixing of I = 0 baryonium. We find that under reasonable phenomenological constraints, the maximum possible ω-baryonium mixing predicted by the model is consistent with the existing phenomenological limits.  相似文献

I compute the deconfinement order parameter for the SU(2)SU(2) lattice gauge theory, the Polyakov loop, using the fixed scale approach for two different scales and show how one can obtain a physical, renormalized, order parameter. The generalization to other gauge theories, including quenched or full QCD, is straightforward.  相似文献
