Homogenous amphiphilic crosslinked polymer films comprising of poly(ethylene oxide) and polysiloxane were synthesized utilizing thiol‐ene “ click ” photochemistry. A systematic variation in polymer composition was Carried out to obtain high quality films with varied amount of siloxane and poly(ethylene oxide). These films showed improved gas separation performance with high gas permeabilities with good CO2/N2 selectivity. Furthermore, the resulting films were also tested for its biocompatibility, as a carrier media which allow human adult mesenchymal stem cells to retain their capacity for osteoblastic differentiation after transplantation. The obtained crosslinked films were characterized using differential scanning calorimetry, dynamic mechanical analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, FTIR, Raman‐IR , and small angle X‐ray scattering. The synthesis ease and commercial availability of the starting materials suggests that these new crosslinked polymer networks could find applications in wide range of applications. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were covalently modified with polymer-coated superparamagnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles via amide bond formation to surface oxo-groups located predominantly at the ends of the nanotubes to form “magnetic MWCNTs”. The sidewalls of the magnetic MWCNTs were then selectively covalently modified with ferrocenyl groups via the photolysis of 3-[3-(trifluoromethyl) diazirin-3-yl] phenyl ferrocene monocarboxylate, which uses an aryldiazirine moiety as a molecular “tether”. We demonstrate that the assembly of the chemically-modified magnetic MWCNTs onto the surface of a magnetic carbon electrode enables one to obtain stable voltammetric signals of chemically-modified carbon nanotubes in non-aqueous electrolytes even under vigorous hydrodynamic conditions of stirring at 3000 rpm for up to twenty minutes. In contrast, non-magnetic chemically modified MWCNTs are removed from the electrode surface within the first two minutes of stirring.  相似文献

(−)-Finerenone is a nonsteroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist currently in phase III clinical trials for the treatment of chronic kidney disease in type 2 diabetes. It contains an unusual dihydronaphthyridine core. We report a 6-step synthesis of (−)-finerenone, which features an enantioselective partial transfer hydrogenation of a naphthyridine using a chiral phosphoric acid catalyst with a Hantzsch ester. The process is complicated by the fact that the naphthyridine exists as a mixture of two atropisomers that react at different rates and with different selectivities. The intrinsic kinetic resolution was converted into a kinetic dynamic resolution at elevated temperature, which enabled us to obtain (−)-finerenone in both high yield and high enantioselectivity. DFT calculations have revealed the origin of selectivity.  相似文献

Irradiation of vinyl and aryl azides with visible light in the presence of Ru photocatalysts results in the formation of reactive nitrenes, which can undergo a variety of C? N bond‐forming reactions. The ability to use low‐energy visible light instead of UV in the photochemical activation of azides avoids competitive photodecomposition processes that have long been a significant limitation on the synthetic use of these reactions.  相似文献

In many parliamentary systems, election timing is an important decision made by governments in order to maximize their expected remaining life in power. Governments can also introduce policy or economic actions to enhance their popular standing and thus their chance of being re-elected. On the other hand, an oppositions’ natural objective is to gain power, and they will also apply controls through their own policies to reduce the governments’ chance of being re-elected. In this paper we employ a dynamic programming approach to determine the optimal timing for governments and oppositions to best utilize their limited resources. At each decision branch, the optimal control is interpreted as a Nash–Cournot equilibrium of a zero-sum political game which, in certain states, admits mixed strategy solutions. We perform a case study on the Australian Federal Election for House of Representatives.  相似文献

Polyallylammonium films with electrostatically bound ferrocyanide were formed by electrochemically reducing ferricyanide ions in the presence of polyallylammonium chloride. These films could be deposited onto the surfaces of Pt, Au or SnO2 electrodes. In anhydrous organic electrolyte solutions, these films are electroinactive but become electroactive after the addition of trace water. For concentrations of water from 0.0 to 0.12% in chlorinated solvents, the electroactivity is linear with water concentration. The linearity between concentration of water and electroactivity can be exploited to develop a subsaturation trace water sensor.  相似文献
