Since the late seventies, the search for new molecular receptors has been constant in perfecting the affinity and selectivity of recognition in different media. At present, a renewed interest in (host:guest) chemistry focuses on the molecular detection of specific targets such as biological, pollutant, toxic or explosive species. This review of triphenylene-based receptors outlines their recent contribution to molecular recognition. Two main structural approaches were investigated to transform a simple triphenylene moiety into a host for neutral aromatic compounds or cations, by tailoring multivalent molecules provided with or without a flatten cavity. The properties of different receptors are presented along with the latest synthetic methods to prepare high-value triphenylenes and the perspectives in the field of sensing. In addition, the role of functionalized triphenylenes in extended (host:guest) systems is illustrated by the main examples of discotic liquid crystals and porous coordination polymers involving this polyaromatic compound.  相似文献

A highly diastereoselective synthesis of methylenecyclobutanes possessing a quaternary stereocenter is reported, in which boron homologation of an easily‐generated cyclobutenylmetal species is performed, followed by an allylation reaction. Combining three steps in a one‐pot process further optimized the method, which afforded the expected adducts in excellent yields and stereoselectivity, starting from commercially available 4‐bromobutyne.  相似文献

Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry methods were required to afford the rapid separation and detection of purines and small organic acids. These compounds are found in sweat and sebum and are potential biomarkers for the early detection of pressures sores. Two ultra-high-performance supercritical fluid chromatography-mass spectrometry assays have been successfully developed for both classes of compounds. Separation for purines was achieved using a gradient of supercritical carbon dioxide and methanol with a 1-aminoanthracene sub 2 μm particle size column followed by positive ion electrospray ionization. Separation for organic acids was achieved using a gradient of supercritical carbon dioxide and methanol (50 mM ammonium acetate 2% water) with a Diol sub 2 μm particle size column followed by negative ion electrospray ionization. Calibration curves were created in the absence of internal standards and R2 values > 0.96 were achieved using single ion monitoring methods for the protonated purines and the deprotonated acids. The two new assays afford rapid analytical methods for the separation and detection of potential biomarkers in human sweat leading to the early detection and prevention of pressure sores.  相似文献

Low-molecular weight linear poly(glycidyl ether)s are typically synthesized via the “classical,” oxy-anionic ring-opening polymerization (ROP) of glycidyl ether monomers at elevated temperatures. To reduce reaction times, a fast process was developed to synthesize oligo(glycidyl ether)s (OGEs) in bulk at a gram-scale utilizing microwave heating. Well-defined thermoresponsive copolymers comprising glycidyl methyl ether and ethyl glycidyl ether with molecular weights of up to 3 kDa were synthesized via microwave-assisted ROP with reaction times of approximately 10 min. The fast reaction kinetics were attributed to the rapid and uniform heating and high temperatures reached during the reaction. Consequently, no significant microwave-specific acceleration of the oxy-anionic ROP was observed. The temperature-triggered phase transition of the OGEs in aqueous solution revealed cloud point temperatures that are highly dependent on the OGE molecular weight, concentration, and comonomer composition, which extends previously reported data. Furthermore, oligo(glycidyl ether) acrylates (OGEAs) with reactive, functional end groups were directly accessible via in situ quenching of the anionic, microwave-assisted ROP with acrylic acid chloride. The obtained thermoresponsive OGEA macromonomers represent a promising material for the functionalization of surfaces via radical grafting methods to obtain functional, thermoresponsive coatings with potential application in cell culture. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The facile production of ArCF2X and ArCX3 from ArCF3 using catalytic iron(III)halides is reported, which constitutes the first iron-catalyzed halogen exchange for non-aromatic C−F bonds. Theoretical calculations suggest direct activation of C−F bonds by iron coordination. ArCX3 and ArCF2X products of the reaction are synthetically valuable due to their diversification potential. In particular, chloro- and bromodifluoromethyl arenes (ArCF2Cl, ArCF2Br respectively) provide access to a myriad of difluoromethyl arene derivatives (ArCF2R). To optimize for mono-halogen exchange, a statistical method called Design of Experiments was used. Optimized parameters were successfully applied to electron rich and electron deficient aromatic substrates, and to the late stage diversification of flufenoxuron, a commercial insecticide. These methods are highly practical, being run at convenient temperatures and using inexpensive common reagents.  相似文献

Acetylacetone was successfully used as a precursor of 4-aminomethylpyrazoles and 4-aminomethylisoxazoles in a two step process at ambient temperature. In the first step, acetylacetone was transformed to the corresponding hexahydropyrimidines (1,3-diazinanes) via two consecutive one-pot Mannich aminomethylations. Hexahydropyrimidines were then treated with hydrazine, phenylhydrazine, and hydroxylamine, respectively, to obtain the corresponding 4-aminomethylpyrazoles and 4-aminomethylisoxazoles in good yields. The hexahydropyrimidine ring decomposed providing the title compounds and a reasonable mechanism has been proposed.  相似文献

To shed light on intramolecular charge‐transfer phenomena in 1,2,3‐triazole‐linked materials, a series of 1,2,3‐triazole‐linked push–pull chromophores were prepared and studied experimentally and computationally. Investigated modifications include variation of donor and/or acceptor strength and linker moiety as well as regioisomers. Photophysical characterization of intramolecular charge‐transfer features revealed ambipolar behavior of the triazole linker, depending on the substitution position. Furthermore, non‐centrosymmetric materials were subjected to second‐harmonic generation measurements, which revealed the high nonlinear optical activity of this class of materials.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish some results which exhibit an application for Michel–Penot subdifferential in nonsmooth vector optimization problems and vector variational-like inequalities. We formulate vector variational-like inequalities of Stampacchia and Minty type in terms of the Michel–Penot subdifferentials and use these variational-like inequalities as a tool to solve the vector optimization problem involving nonsmooth V-invex function. We also consider the corresponding weak versions of the vector variational-like inequalities and establish various results for the weak efficient solutions.  相似文献
