A series of adamantanamine-(OCH2CH2)n-phenothiazine (n = 0, 1, 2, 3) electron donors was synthesized. Photoinduced electron transfer was observed in the supramolecular complex
of the phenothiazine derivatives with p-nitrobenzoyl-β-cyclodextrin (NBCD) through binding of the adamantyl group by the NBCD cavity, which is stabilized clearly via hydrophobic interactions in aqueous solution. Detailed Stern–Volmer constants were measured and they were partitioned into
dynamic Stern–Volmer quenching constants and static binding constants. The results revealed an efficient electron transfer
process inside the supramolecular systems compared to that controlled by diffusion. This observation also indicates that the

Pd-catalyzed aerobic oxidative coupling of anilides with olefins was achieved through selective C-H bond activation. Compared to the previous studies, not only did we successfully use molecular oxygen to replace the chemical oxidant, but we also obtained improved yields for a number of substrates. The mononuclear macrocyclic polyamine metal complexes 5a-5e have been shown to form stable 1 : 1 complexes with bases and nucleosides. Their binding constants (K) were determined by UV-visible spectrometric titration. The results show that recognition ability of the complexes 5a--5e for uracil, U (Uridine), dT (Thymidine) is higher than that for the other bases or nucleosides (such as Cytidine, Guanosine, Adenosine). A novel cadmium(Ⅱ) isothiocyanate complex [Cd(N-MeIM)2(SCN)2]n(N-MeIM=N-methylimidazole) has been prepared and characterized by spectroscopic analysis and crystallographic method. The title compound crystallize in the Triclinic system, space group P1, with lattice parameters a=0.589 50(12) nm, b=0.785 70(16) nm, c=0.882 00(18) nm, α=110.98(3)°, β=106.49(3)°, γ=95.08(3)°, and Z=1. The title compound exhibits an infinite chain structure in which each pair of Cd atoms is bridged by two η-1,3-SCN- groups. The unique Cd atom lies on an inversion centre and the coordination sphere is completed by two N-MeIM N atoms to form a CdS2N4 octahedron. The polymeric chains are further extended into three-dimensional network via π…π stackings interactions between the imidazole rings. Tetramethylsilane (TMS) can be included by -cyclodextrin (-CD), and sodium 2,2-dimethylsilapentane-5-sulphonate (DSS) can form inclusion complexes with - and -CD. The NMR chemical shifts are changed considerably as a result of the strong interaction between CD and the guest compound in the inclusion complexes. A downfield shift of as much as 0.63 ppm shift downfield has been observed for the protons of external TMS in CD aqueous solution. In view of this, the question arises of whether TMS and DSS can be used as internal references. DSS in D2O is suggested as an external reference for aqueous cyclodextrin solution in NMR measurements. 相似文献
