The absorption of two kinds of insulin (from porcine or bovine pancreas) from the rectum of rabbits after the administration of hollow-type suppositories containing insulin and glyceryl-1-monooctanoate (GMO) as an absorption-enhancing agent was investigated. Two types of suppositories were employed: type I containing insulin in an aqueous solution (approx. 25 IU/mg/100 microliters citric buffer solution at pH 3.0) in the cavity of the suppository and GMO mixed with a base material (Witepsol H-15), and type II containing insulin in a crystalline form in the same amount as in type I. Without GMO, the insulin and glucose levels in plasma were unchanged, whereas a marked increase in the plasma levels of insulin and a decrease of glucose concentrations were found following coadministration of insulin and GMO by the type I suppository. Similar enhancement of rectal absorption of insulin was obtained from porcine and bovine sources. In the case of the crystalline insulin, despite the use of the same amount of GMO, porcine insulin was more efficiently absorbed than bovine insulin by the type II suppository. GMO enhances the absorption of insulin in an aqueous solution or a crystalline form, and the dissolution rate of insulin may be an important factor in the rectal absorption of insulin.  相似文献

We established a gas-phase, elementary reaction model for chemical vapor deposition of silicon carbide from methyltrichlorosilane (MTS) and H2, based on the model developed at Iowa State University (ISU). The ISU model did not reproduce our experimental results, decomposition behavior of MTS in the gas phase in an environment with H2. Therefore, we made several modifications to the ISU model. Of the reactions included in existing models, 236 were lacking in the ISU model, and thus were added to the model. In addition, we modified the rate constants of the unimolecular reactions and the recombination reactions, which were treated as a high-pressure limit in the ISU model, into pressure-dependent rate expressions based on the previous reports (to yield the ISU+ model), for example, H2(+M) → H + H(+M), but decomposition behavior remained poorly reproducible. To incorporate the pressure dependencies of unimolecular decomposition rate constants, and to increase the accuracies of these constants, we recalculated the rate constants of five unimolecular decomposition reactions of MTS using the Rice-Ramsperger-Kassel-Marcus method at the CBS-QB3 level. These chemistries were added to the ISU+ model to yield the UT2014 model. The UT2014 model reproduced overall MTS decomposition. From the results of our model, we confirmed that MTS mainly decomposes into CH3 and SiCl3 at the temperature around 1000°C as reported in the several studies.  相似文献

A new synthetic method of organoselenium compounds has been developed. When phenyl tributylstannyl selenide (PhSeSnBu(3)) was allowed to react with acyl or aroyl chlorides in the presence of a catalytic amount of a palladium complex such as Pd(PPh(3))(4), Se-phenyl selenol esters were obtained in moderate to good yields. Similarly, the palladium complex catalyzed the reaction of PhSeSnBu(3) with alpha-halo carbonyl compounds to afford the corresponding alpha-phenyseleno carbonyl compounds in moderate yields.  相似文献

Pure rotational transitions of a rare gas atom-reactive open-shell triatom van der Waals complex Ar-HO2 have been observed by Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy. The transitions observed are of a type with K(a) = 0 and 1. Furthermore, by monitoring the change of the free induction decay signal of the a-type transitions, b-type transitions have been observed by a double resonance technique in the region 18-49 GHz. All these transitions provide us precise molecular constants. The r0 structure of Ar-HO2 has been determined by fixing the structure of the HO2 monomer. The determined structure is planar and almost T shaped, where the argon atom is slightly shifted to the hydrogen atom of HO2. The experimental data supplemented by high-level ab initio calculations indicate that the van der Waals bond of Ar-HO2 is relatively rigid. On the other hand, effects on the unpaired electron distribution by the complex formation are found to be fairly small, since the fine and hyperfine constants of Ar-HO2 are well explained by those of the HO2 monomer.  相似文献

We observed crossed transitions and anti‐Stokes emissions in single quantum‐dot‐like objects embedded in the active layer of InGaN/GaN quantum disks by two‐photon absorption techniques. We proposed a phenomenological model based on the interplay between Auger effect and crossed transitions to explain the origin of anti‐Stokes emissions and the preferential excitation of 0D objects at the expense of their surroundings. Enzymatic degradation of poly[(R)‐3‐hydroxybutyrate] (P(3HB)) film by the poly(hydroxybutyrate) (PHB) depolymerase from Ralstonia picketti T1 was studied in 0.01 M phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.4) at 37 °C by using a quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) technique. Enzymatic degradation of P(3HB) film was quantitatively followed by QCM as a positive frequency shift. While, the amount of depolymerases adsorbed on the film could be evaluated as a negative frequency shift by using a mutant enzyme which had no hydrolytic activity in a catalytic site. The degradation rate increased with enzyme concentration to reach a maximum value at 1.0 μg · mL?1, and then the rate decreased at higher enzyme concentration. This enzyme concentration dependence could be quantitatively explained in terms of a change of coverage of the film surface by the adsorbed enzyme. When the wild‐type enzyme solution in a QCM cell was replaced with the mutant enzyme solution in the middle of the reaction, the degradation rate was reduced markedly, indicating that the wild‐type enzyme adsorbed on the P(3HB) surface is easily substituted by the mutant enzyme in the solution. On the other hand, replacement of the wild‐type enzyme solution with other proteins or buffer solutions did not affect the degradation rate at all, suggesting that the adsorbed enzyme was not desorbed from the film surface. Thus, the adsorbed PHB depolymerase is released from the P(3HB) surface only by interaction with the same depolymerase in solution.

Pure rotational spectra of trans- and cis-HOCO have been observed by Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy and the millimeter-wave double resonance technique, where gas phase spectra of the cis-conformer were observed for the first time. These radicals were produced in a supersonic jet by discharging a mixture gas of CO and H(2)O diluted in Ar. The molecular constants including the fine and hyperfine constants have been precisely determined for both conformers. Deuterated analogs have also been observed. The determined r(0) structures agree with these of ab initio calculations. The Fermi contact constants show a difference of the unpaired electron densities on the protons between the two conformers. Intensity of the spectrum for cis-HOCO was compared with that of trans-HOCO, leading to a conclusion that both conformers were produced nearly equally in abundance under the present experimental conditions.  相似文献

A method for evaluating a band offset of a heterojunction is proposed by measuring temperature dependence of current–voltage (IV) characteristics in triple-barrier resonant tunneling diodes (TBRTDs). The method was applied for investigating a conduction band offset by using GaAs0.25P0.75/GaAs TBRTDs with thin strain heterobarriers grown by MOCVD and ΔEc was estimated as 200–240 meV. In the strain-barrier TBRTDs, negative differential resistance was observed below 100 K.  相似文献
