Photochemical cyclization of compound 1, a homoenediyne (-CCC=CCH2CC-) bearing two ethynylanthracene chromophores, yields two isomeric dihydrocyclopent[a]indene ring systems, spiro-fused to the 9-position of a 9,10-dihydroanthracene moiety. Evidence of a photochemically initiated diradical cyclization pathway is proposed on the basis of (i) hydrogen abstraction from reaction with 1,4-cyclohexadiene (1,4-CHD) and (ii) the observation of 1,4-addition of benzene (solvent). The reaction was further analyzed by a complete density functional theory (DFT) study, using an unrestricted approach (UBLYP) with a 6-31G* basis set for the open-shell triplet states of the reactants, products, and diradical intermediates to model the photochemical nature of observed transformation. A mechanism detailing the observed cyclization/addition reaction is proposed.  相似文献

Simple, rapid, reliable, and sensitive spectrofluorometric methods were developed for the determination of eight quinolone antibacterials namely ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin, lomefloxacin, difloxacin, amifloxacin, pefloxacin, ofloxacin, and nalidixic acid. The methods depend on the chelation of each of the studied drugs with zirconium, molybdenum, vanadium or tungsten to produce fluorescent chelates. Different factors affecting the relative fluorescence intensity of the resulting chelates were studied and optimised. At the optimum reaction conditions, the drug-metal chelates showed excitation maxima ranging from 274 to 295 nm and emission maxima ranging from 409 to 495 nm. The chelates were found to be stable at room temperature for 2 days and show good stability upon increasing temperature to 50 °C for about 1 h. Rectilinear calibration graphs were obtained in the range of 10-60 ng ml−1 for each of the investigated drugs and the limits of detection and quantitation ranged from 1.214 to 2.046 and from 4.047 to 6.819 ng ml−1, respectively. The molar ratios of the formed chelates were determined by Job's method and their association constants were also calculated. The developed methods were applied successfully for the determination of the studied drugs in their pharmaceutical dosage forms with a good precision and accuracy compared to official and reported methods as revealed by t- and F-tests. They were also applied for the determination of studied drugs in spiked urine and plasma samples.  相似文献

Conjugated polymers and oligomers can serve as highly responsive fluorescent reporters for biosensor applications. However, their optical properties in aqueous media are highly dependent upon environmental conditions. The structure of the paracyclophane framework provides a platform for designing optical reporters that show little sensitivity to surfactants, and thus is well-suited for fluorescent assays. The permanent intramolecular delocalization through the paracyclophane core dominates intermolecular perturbations in spontaneously formed aggregates.  相似文献

Summary The formation constants of 1-phenyl-3-thiazole-2-ylthiourea complexes with some bivalent metal ions (CuII, NiII, ZnII and MnII) have been determined in 75% EtOH–H2O. Complexes of CuII, NiII, ZnII, HgII and PdII have been isolated and characterized by conductance, i.r., electronic spectra and magnetic measurements. The ligand forms ML complexes with CuII and HgII and ML2 with NiII, ZnII and PdII, where L is the uninegatively charged bidentate ligand and binds through the ring nitrogen and thiocarbonyl sulphur atoms.  相似文献

In order to determine the counter-anion effect on conductivity of poly[N-(3,6,9-trioxadecyl)-4-vinylpyridinium)] backbone in aqueous solutions, a set of three polyelectrolytes with three different counter-ions: poly[N-(3,6,9-trioxadecyl)-4-vinylpyridinium]bromide P4VP164Br and its chlorate and tosylate derivatives P4VP164ClO4 and P4VP164Ts respectively, were prepared by spontaneous polymerization of 4-vinylpyridine. This method gives a grafted polyelectrolyte having a positive charge on each pyridinic moiety on the backbone. The conductivities of cationic polyelectrolyte aqueous solution were determined in the concentration range from 10−4 to 10−2 M at 25 °C. The variation of the conductivity versus concentration of the investigated system exhibits a typical polyelectrolyte behavior. The polycation mobility was found to be dependent on the counter-anion nature. Thus, the polyelectrolyte conductivity increases with the ion size. This shows that big ions are weakly or not associated to the backbone.In order to confirm this steric hindrance, we have considered the conductivities of these three anions Br, ClO4 and Ts in their sodium salts, both alone and in the presence of 3,6,9-trioxadecanol (PEO164) free chains. In the two cases, the conductivities decrease in the order ΛBr>ΛClO4>ΛTs.These results suggest that counter-ion mobility is mainly influenced by steric effect PEO164 grafted chains.Values of the conductivity predicted from Manning rod-like polyelectrolyte model were compared with our experimental results.  相似文献

Abstract

A new series of modified α-amidophosphonates (or β-ketophosphonate) was synthesized by an efficient method, starting from aminoesters and chloroacetyl chloride. We have established that chloroacetyl chloride is a suitable reagent allowing the introduction a halogen moiety for the Arbuzov reaction. The α-amidophosphonates were prepared in two steps (acetylation, phosphorylation).

Although atomically precise polyhydrido copper nanoclusters are of prime interest for a variety of applications, they have so far remained scarce. Herein, this work describes the synthesis of a dithiophosphate-protected copper(I) hydride-rich nanocluster (NC), [Cu30H18{S2P(OnPr)2}12] ( 1H ), fully characterized by various spectroscopic methods and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The X-ray structure of 1H reveals an unprecedented central Cu12 hollow icosahedron. Six faces of this icosahedron are capped by Cu3 triangles, the whole Cu30 core being wrapped by twelve dithiophosphate ligands and the whole cluster has ideal S6 symmetry. The locations of the 18 hydrides in 1H were ascertained by a single-crystal neutron diffraction study. They are composed of three types: capping μ3-H, interstitial μ4-H (seesaw) and μ5-H ligands (square pyramidal), in good agreement with the DFT simulations. The numbers of hydrides and ligand resonances in the 1H NMR spectrum of 1H are in line with their coordination environment in the solid state, retaining the S6 symmetry in solution. Furthermore, two new Se-protected polyhydrido copper nanoclusters, [Cu30H18{Se2P(OR)2}12] ( 2H : R=iPr 3H : R=iBu) were synthesized from their sulfur relative 1H via ligand displacement reaction and their X-ray structures feature the exceptional case where both the NC shape and size are fully conserved during the course of ligand exchange. DFT and TD-DFT calculations allow understanding the bonding and optical properties of clusters 1H – 3H . In addition, the reaction of 1H with [Pd(PPh3)2Cl2] in the presence of terminal alkynes led to the formation of new bimetallic Cu−Pd alloy clusters [PdCu14H2{S2P(OnPr)2}6(C≡CR)6] ( 4 : R=Ph; 5 : R = C6H4F).  相似文献
