This report focuses on a theoretical study of the cobalt-cabon bond activation mechanism in Vitamin B12, its co enzyme complexes, and model compounds such as cobalamins (Cbl), cobaloximes and cobalt porphyrins. Triplet energy transfer (TET) from aromatic donors to 1,3,5,7-cyclooctatetraene (COT) is an extreme case of "nonvertical" behavior, where the transfer rate for low-energy donors is considerably faster than that predicted for a thermally activated (Arrhenius) process. To explain the anomalous TET of COT and other molecules, a new theoretical model based on transition state theory for nonadiabatic processes is proposed here, which makes use of the adiabatic potential energy surfaces (PES) of reactants and products, as computed from high-level quantum mechanical methods, and a nonadiabatic transfer rate constant. It is shown that the rate of transfer depends on a geometrical distortion parameter gamma=(2g(2)/kappa(1))(1/2) in which g stands for the norm of the energy gradient in the PES of the acceptor triplet state and kappa(1) is a combination of vibrational force constants of the ground-state acceptor in the gradient direction. The application of the model to existing experimental data for the triplet energy transfer reaction to COT from a series of pi,pi(*) triplet donors, provides a detailed interpretation of the parameters that determine the transfer rate constant. In addition, the model shows that the observed decrease of the acceptor electronic excitation energy is due to thermal activation of C=C bond stretchings and C-C bond torsions, which collectively change the ground-state COT bent conformation (D(2d)) toward a planar triplet state (D(8h)).  相似文献

Observations at the Earth's magnetopause identify mode conversion from surface to kinetic Alfvén waves at the Alfvén resonance. Kinetic Alfvén waves radiate into the magnetosphere from the resonance with parallel scales up to the order of the geomagnetic field-line length and spectral energy densities obeying a k(perpendicular)(-2.4) power law. Amplitudes at the Alfvén resonance are sufficient to both demagnetize ions across the magnetopause and provide field-aligned electron bursts. These waves provide diffusive transport across the magnetopause sufficient for boundary layer formation.  相似文献

A rotational band with 15 transitions has been observed in142Eu in an experiment with the GASP Ge detector array by the110Pd(37Cl,5n) reaction. The average energy spacing between the neighbouring transitions is 60 keV, which is similar to the energy spacings in the superdeformed bands in the mass 140 region. The band has a constant dynamic moment of inertia as suggested by Cranked Shell Model calculations.  相似文献

A simple 10 ps KrF laser system consisting of quenched dye laser oscillator pumped by a XeCl laser, a distributed feedback dye laser (DFDL), a three-stage dye amplifier and a two-stage KrF amplifier are described. The output of the laser system is 140 mJ with 10 ps pulse width by using polarization-multiplexing amplification. A focused output laser intensity of about 4×1015 W/cm2 is obtained. The saturation fluence for KrF laser is obtained with this laser.  相似文献

应用程序电位扫描法和电化学原位FTIR反射光谱从定量角度在分子水平 上研究了CO2在Rh电极上的电催化还原性能。红外光谱结果指出CO2还原的吸附产物为线型和桥式吸附态CO物种。在所研究和还原电位范围(-0.15-0.40V)和相同还原时间,CO2还原吸附物种的氧化电量随还原电位的负移而增大,在每个还原电位下,时间超过250s时都可达到一个相应的饱和值。原位红外光谱和电化学研究结果表明,CO2的还原与Rh电极表面氢吸附反应密切相关,同时需要一定数量相邻表面位的参与。因此生成的CO不能在Rh电极表面达到满单层吸附,而是形成均匀的亚单层分布。  相似文献

Starting with the diagonal spacetime metric tensor, the Einstein gravitational field equation is solved, and a set of exact (3+1) dimensional cylindrically symmetric wave solutions with two arbitrary functions are found. In these solutions all nonvanishing components of spacetime metric tensor are varying with the same propagating factor (ct-z) while the waves are travelling along z axis.
