在保持非负定性不变的前提下,本文对矩阵每一元素容许多大的扰动作了进一步的研究, 将本文的结论和C.R.Johnson提出的部分正定阵的正定完备化进行比较,容易发现对已知的正定矩阵求扰动,本文的结论比用C.R.Johnson的正定完备化计算扰动形式上更简单,同时也给出了不同于C.R.Johnson的部分正定阵的正定完备化表示的另外一个公式,推出了这些正定完备化矩阵应具有的若干性质.  相似文献

We study into a semilattice of numberings generated by a given fixed numbering via operations of completion and taking least upper bounds. It is proved that, except for the trivial cases, this semilattice is an infinite distributive lattice every principal ideal in which is finite. The least upper and the greatest lower bounds in the semilattice are invariant under extensions in the semilattice of all numberings. Isomorphism types for the semilattices in question are in one-to-one correspondence with pairs of cardinals the first component of which is equal to the cardinality of a set of non-special elements, and the second — to the cardinality of a set of special elements, of the initial numbering. A central problem that arises in evolutionary biology is that of displaying partitions of subsets of a finite set X on a tree whose vertices are partially labelled with the elements of X. Such a tree is called an X-tree and, for a collection of partitions of subsets of X, characterisations for the existence and uniqueness of an X-tree that displays have been previously given in terms of chordal graphs. In this paper, we obtain two closely related characterisations also in terms of chordal graphs. The first describes when identifies an X-tree, and the second describes when a compatible subset of is of maximum size.  相似文献

We prove the following. Let G be an undirected graph. Every partially specified symmetric matrix, the graph of whose specified entries is G and each of whose fully specified submatrices is completely positive (equal to BBT for some entrywise nonnegative matrix B), may be completed to a completely positive matrix if and only if G is a block-clique graph (a chordal graph in which distinct maximal cliques overlap in at most one vertex). The same result holds for matrices that are doubly nonnegative (entrywise nonnegative and positive semidefinite).  相似文献

This work deals with the kinetics of co-condensation polymerization of AB2 and AB monomers, giving expressions of the two-dimensional molecular weight distribution function and the number/weight average molecular weights of the resulting copolymers. The two-dimensional molecular weight distribution depends on two indices, n and l, which are the respective numbers of AB2 and AB units in a copolymer species. The evolution of the two-dimensional weight and z distributions during the co-condensation polymerization has been evaluated systematically. Finally, the two-dimensional distribution was transformed into a one-dimensional molecular weight distribution with only one variable (the molecular weight of the products instead of the degree of polymerization). The calculated results show that the highly branched copolymer has a very broad molecular weight distribution when the co-condensation polymerization approaches completion.  相似文献

The single machine group scheduling problem is considered. Jobs are classified into several groups on the basis of group technology, i.e. jobs of the same group have to be processed jointly. A machine set-up time independent of the group sequence is needed between each two consecutive groups. A schedule specifies the sequence of groups and the sequence of jobs in each group. The quality of a schedule is measured by the criteriaF 1, ...,F m ordered by their relative importance. The objective is to minimize the least important criterionF m subject to the schedule being optimal with respect to the more important criterionF m–1 which is minimized on the set of schedules minimizing criterionF m–2 and so on. The most important criterion isF 1, which is minimized on the set of all feasible schedules. An approach to solve this multicriterion problem in polynomial time is presented if functionsF 1, ...,F m have special properties. The total weighted completion time and the total weighted exponential time are the examples of functionsF 1, ...,F m–1 and the maximum cost is an example of functionF m for which our approach can be applied.The research of the authors was partially supported by a KBN Grant No. 3 P 406 003 05, the Fundamental Research Fund of Belarus, Project N 60-242, and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, Project Schema, respectively. An iterative resolution method for inverse Cauchy problems is presented. The successive iterations satisfy the equilibrium equations exactly.
