In this paper, the aeroelastic analyses of a rectangular cantilever plate of varying aspect ratio is presented. The classical plate theory has been selected as the structural model. The main point that distinguishes this study from previously reported research is employing Peters’ theory to model aerodynamic effect which is not straightforward. The Peters’ aerodynamic model was originally developed to provide lift and moment, which is only applicable to the structural model based on the beam theories. In this study, using the basic concept of the Peters’ aerodynamic model in addition to utilizing the Fourier series, the pressure distribution is derived, which makes Peters’ model applicable to structural models based on plate theory. This combination provides a much simpler state–space aeroelastic model for plates in comparison to the prevalent panel methods, which could lead to a significant reduction in computational time. In addition, the aeroelastic response of the plate with respect to changes in the structural model from the beam theory to the plate theory is evaluated. By using data from an experiment carried out at Duke University, the theoretical results are evaluated. Furthermore, the differences in structural models obtained from the plate and beam theories can be divided into two distinct parts, which are responsible for differences in bending and torsional behaviors of the structure, separately. This approach enables us to measure the effects of differences of each behavior separately, which could provide with a new insight into the problem. It has been determined that the flutter speeds obtained from the beam and plate aeroelastic models are little affected by the difference in bending behavior, but rather is mainly caused by the difference in torsional frequencies.  相似文献

根据列车具体的轴距和轴重,建立了和谐号动车组CRH380AL型列车简化模型;对高速铁路两跨连续梁桥采用多自由度欧拉伯努利梁单元进行主梁的模拟,并将液体黏滞阻尼器模拟为有限元阻尼单元;采用Newmark直接积分方法求解了高速列车作用下的连续梁桥运动方程,数值分析了列车车速以及液体黏滞阻尼器的阻尼系数对于高速铁路连续梁桥振动响应的影响。结果表明:黏滞阻尼器对于桥梁具有明显的减振效果,阻尼力不仅与阻尼系数有关还与列车时速有关;同一黏滞阻尼器条件下,桥梁的最大加速度并不随列车速度的增加而单调增加,而是在某些特定列车车速下桥梁的最大加速度出现了峰值,且随着黏滞阻尼器的阻尼系数增大,桥梁振动响应峰值处的最大加速度减幅不同;同一列车时速的条件下,桥梁的减振效果并不是随着阻尼系数的递增呈正比递增,而是随着阻尼系数的增大,阻尼器的减振效果增幅在减小。  相似文献

As part of previous studies, we introduced a new type of basis function named Simplified Box Orbitals (SBOs) that belong to a class of spatially restricted functions which allow the zero differential overlap (ZDO) approximation to be applied with complete accuracy. The original SBOs and their Gaussian expansions SBO-3G form a minimal basis set, which was compared to the standard Slater-type orbital basis set (STO-3G). In the present paper, we have developed the SBO basis functions at double-zeta (DZ) level, and we have assessed the option of expanding the SBO-DZ as a combination of Gaussian functions. Finally, we have determined the quality of the new basis set by comparing the molecular properties calculated with SBO-nG with those achieved with some standard basis sets.  相似文献

A substituted donor–acceptor cyclobutenecarboxamide is synthesized with modest enantiocontrol through a chiral copper(I) complex catalyzed [3 + 1]-cycloaddition reaction of α-acyl diphenylsulfur ylides with 3-siloxy-2-diazo-3-butenamides. With a methyl substituent on the 4-position of the 3-butenamide, the cis-vicinal-3,4-disubstituted cyclobutenecarboxamide is formed with >20:1 diastereocontrol. Donor-acceptor 3-methyl-2-siloxycyclopropenecarboxamide is rapidly formed from the reactant enoldiazoamide and undergoes catalytic ring opening to give only the Z-γ-substituted metallo-enolcarbene. Elimination from 3-siloxy-2-diazo-3-pentenamide to form the conjugated 3-siloxy-2,4-pentadienamide is competitive but minimized at low temperature.  相似文献

Experiments on crack identification in cantilever beams   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In this paper we present an experimental investigation of the identification of crack location and size. By providing the first three natural frequencies through vibration measurements, curves of crack equivalent stiffness versus crack location are plotted, and the intersection of the three curves predicts the crack location and size. In the experiments, the cracked specimens were made using a wire-cut electrical discharge machine, and the cantilever beams were excited next to the free end by means of an impulse force hammer. In order to obtain the accurate natural frequencies from the transient signal measured, the method of zoom fast Fourier transform is adopted to improve frequency resolution. From experimental results, it is observed that the identification errors of crack location and size are less than 2% and 4%, respectively. The effectiveness of crack identification through vibration measurements is verified.  相似文献

A lumped masses-springs model is proposed to analyze the dynamicresponse of an elastic-plastic cantilever beam resulting from impact. The numericalresults are in good agreement with those by finite-element approaches. The simplifiedmodel can catch the most essential features of elastic-plastic response of beams; inparticular, it demonstrates the effect of elastic deformation on the distribution ofbending moment and energy dissipation, and provides valuable quatitative results.  相似文献
