Thermal Performance of Laser Diode Array under Constant Convective Heat Transfer Boundary Condition

Three-dimensional heat transfer model of laser diode array under constant convective heat transfer coefficient boundary condition is established and analytical temperature profiles within its heat sink are obtained by separation of variables. The influences on thermal resistance and maximum temperature variation among emitters from heat sink structure parameters and convective heat transfer coefficient are brought forward. The derived formula enables the thermal optimization of laser diode array.     

Evaluation of Optical Properties of Self-Frequency-Doubling Crystal Yb：GdYAl3（BO3）4 for Laser Applications

Yb：GdYAl3 （B03）4 （Yb：GdYAB） is investigated as a new laser crystal for potential applications in self-frequency doubling. The emission and absorption properties of Yb：GdYAB crystal are studied, and the emission decay times of the upper laser level are measured. The emission cross sections are evaluated using the absorption cross section and principle of reciprocity. The other laser performance parameters, such as the minimum inversion fraction βmin, pump saturation intensity Isat and minimum pump intensity 1rain, are also calculated. The results are discussed in the framework of requirements for an effective diode-pumped Yb^3＋ laser system. Yb：GdYAB is expected to exhibit the most useful laser properties and to be superior to Yb：YAB crystal that has been excellent self-frequency-doubling crystal at present in many key spectroscopic parameter values.     

Topological Effects on the Performance of Transportation Networks

We investigate the influence of the network topology on the performance （characterized by the total system cost and maximal tratffic volume） of transportation networks, where the weights are not static （constant）, but dynamic （a function of the flow on the link）. Four classes of networks are used in the simulation, including regular networks, random networks, small-world networks and scale-free networks. The initial simulation results show that topologies play important roles on the performance of transportation networks, and random networks have better performance than other networks. Also, we find that there are distinct difference of the link flow distribution for various networks in both the distribution function form and the span between the minimum and the maximum of the link flow, explaining the difference of the performance among distinct networks. These findings will be useful in network design problems of transportation systems.

Investigation on improving characteristics of two-cell SBS system with CCl4/C2H5OH liquid mixture

In order to improve the performance of the two-cell stimulated Brillouin scattering （SBS） system, this paper proposes the methods of using mixtures, which require amplifier media to have small absorption rate, and generator media to have high optical breakdown threshold and Brillouin frequency shift equal to that of the amplification media. The characteristics of the two-cell SBS system are studied experimentally by using CCl4 as amplifier medium and CCl4, C2H5OH and CCl4/C2H5OH liquid mixture as generator medium pumped by Nd：YAG Q-switched laser. The obtained results show that liquid mixture in generator cell improves the power load ability, phase conjugation fidelity, energy reflectivity （ER） and ER stability.     

N掺杂锐钛矿TiO2光学性能的第一性原理研究

用平面波赝势方法(PWP)计算了N掺杂锐钛矿型TiO2前后的光学特性,即介电函数虚部ε2(w),光学吸收系数I(w)和反射率R(w).并从能带结构上解释了为什么掺N后锐钛矿型TiO2的光学谱在2.93,3.56和3.97 eV处相对掺杂前会出现3个峰值的原因.从光谱图上分析得出,掺杂后TiO2要发生红移现象,实验现象证实了这一结果.     

La2O3对Yb:Y2O3透明陶瓷光谱性能的影响

研究了La2O3对Yb:Y2O3透明陶瓷光谱性能的影响,添加适量La2O3以后,Yb:Y2O3透明陶瓷的吸收峰和发射峰的位置不变,但由于La3+的离子半径大于Y3+的离子半径,在Y2O3中引入La3+离子后,导致Y2O3晶格常数变大,晶场强度变弱,同时降低了Y2O3晶体的有序度,致使发射峰强度有所下降,发射截面变小.过量的La2O3(x=0.16)造成Yb3+激活离子发射强度明显下降;其荧光寿命在添加La2O3后总体增大45%-60%.     

四川瓜蒌具钙拮抗作用化学成分的光谱研究(Ⅱ)

瓜蒌皮系葫芦科植物瓜蒌（Trichosanthese)的干燥成熟果皮，为常用中药，具清热涤痰、宽胸散结、润燥肠之功效，用于肺热咳嗽、胸痹心痛、乳痛肺痛、大便秘结等。瓜蒌皮重在清热化痰、利气宽胸。文献报道^[1]它还具有抗癌、抗细菌和真菌的作用。但瓜蒌皮在钙拮抗作用方法的研究未见报道，我们在这方面作了一些工作，对瓜蒌皮的分离物进行了成分的测试，对其结果进行了分析讨论。     

1,8-萘酰亚胺衍生物的合成、表征及电存储性能

本文以三苯胺结构作为电子给体,与三种接有不同吸电子基团的1,8-萘酐反应合成了具有电子给-受体结构的N-(4-三苯胺)-1,8-萘酰亚胺(NA-ATPA)、N-(4-三苯胺)-(4-氰基)-1,8-萘酰亚胺(NA(CN)-ATPA)和N-(4-三苯胺)-(4-硝基)-1,8-萘酰亚胺(NA(NO_2)-ATPA),并对它们的结构进行了表征。利用紫外可见光谱、荧光发射光谱和循环伏安法对产物的光物理性能和电化学性能进行了测试,并测试了其存储行为,结果显示NA-ATPA表现出易失的静态随机存储行为(SRAM),NACN-ATPA表现出非易失的闪存型存储(Flash),NA(NO_2)-ATPA表现出非易失只读型存储(WORM)。三种萘酰亚胺对存储行为中高导态的维持能力逐渐增强,其原因是引入的吸电子基团的吸电子性越强,其LUMO值和能隙值降低的越多,越利于电荷转移,形成更稳定的电荷转移络合物。另外,本文还对原料和产物的电子结构、分子轨道和能级进行了分子模拟计算,研究了三种化合物基态和激发态的差别,并对其电子转移过程进行了理论分析。
