A Markovian approach to analyze different states of the superficial vesical carcinoma is considered, taking into account up to two recurrences and the possibility of progression. So, three transient states are considered: free of disease, first, and second recurrence; and an absorbent state, the progression. A methodology based in phase-type distributions is also used, that allows the usual quantities of interest in survival studies to be expressed in a well-structured form. This type of distribution has shown its utility in queue theory, and has the advantage that mathematical expressions can be presented in a closed form that allows algebraic treatment.  相似文献

Influence of non-gelling methylcellulose(MC)on gelation behavior of wheat gliadins in 13 wt%alkaline propanol/water(50:50, v/v)solution was investigated using dynamic rheological time sweep test.Increasing MC concentration(C_(MC))up to C_(MC)=1wt% caused a significant reduction in gelation time(t_(gel))of the solution and an increase in loss tangent(tanδ)value of the resultant gel at T<30℃.  相似文献

A new one-dimensional dicyanamide bridged zinc(II) complex containing nitronyl nitroxide radicals Zn(NO3)(NIT-1'-MeBzIm)(dca)n·(H2O)n(NIT-1'-MeBzIm = 2-{2'-(l'-me-thyl)benzimidazolyl}-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-1-oxyl-3-oxide, dca = dicyanamide anion) has been prepared and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.The complex crystallizes in triclinic, space group P1, with a = 7.428(3), b = 9.839(3), c = 16.708(6), α = 93.270(4), β = 101.642(4), γ = 100.632(4)°, C17.5H21N8O5.5Zn, Mr = 496.79, V = 1169.7(7) 3, Dc = 1.411 g/cm3, μ(MoKα) = 1.096 mm-1, Z = 2, F(000) = 512, R = 0.0583 and wR = 0.1663 for 4295 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I).X-ray analysis reveals that the zinc(II) ion is six-coordinated with a distorted octahedral geometry.These units develop as 1D species where dicyanamide ligands bridge zinc(II) ions.In addition, molecules are linked by π-π piling interactions to form 1-D double-chains.Magnetic investigation indicates that the weak intramolecular interactions are antiferromagnetic with J =-0.27 cm?1, where the spin Hamitonian is defined as H =-2∑i,jJi,jSiS within the complex.  相似文献

Speckle metrology and holographic interferometry (HI) have been used in several civil engineering applications. We present the results obtained by applying speckle photography (SP) to the study of two quadratic shearwalls with different boundary conditions, and the potential of the technique in the study of this kind of structures is described. The analysis of Young's fringes obtained with this technique at certain points on each shearwall provides the whole field of displacement measurements. HI has been used to measure the three components of absolute displacement, verifying that the bulging phenomenon does not affect the in-plane components when the applied load remains on the same plane as the shearwall. A qualitative analysis is carried out following an electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) technique. The results obtained by optical techniques are compared to the numerical results obtained by the finite element method (FEM), finding good correlation between them in all the cases.  相似文献

Attrition-enhanced chiral symmetry breaking in crystals, known as Viedma deracemization, is a promising method for converting racemic solid phases into enantiomerically pure ones under non-equilibrium conditions. However, many aspects of this process remain unclear. In this study, we present a new investigation into Viedma deracemization using a comprehensive kinetic rate equation continuous model based on classical primary nucleation theory, crystal growth, and Ostwald ripening. Our approach employs a fully microreversible kinetic scheme with a size-dependent solubility following the Gibbs–Thomson rule. To validate our model, we use data from a real NaClO3 deracemization experiment. After parametrization, the model shows spontaneous mirror symmetry breaking (SMSB) under grinding. Additionally, we identify a bifurcation scenario with a lower and upper limit of the grinding intensity that leads to deracemization, including a minimum deracemization time within this window. Furthermore, this model uncovers that SMSB is caused by multiple instances of concealed high-order autocatalysis. Our findings provide new insights into attrition-enhanced deracemization and its potential applications in chiral molecule synthesis and understanding biological homochirality.  相似文献

We are very interested in characterizing ligands derived from salicyl­aldehyde and α‐amino acids. These ligands form interesting complexes with different transition metals, which are very useful for understanding some biological systems. For Schiff bases derived from salicyl­aldehyde and different alkyl­amines or aryl­amines, the enol–imine form is predominant. Summary A systematic investigation of operational buffer systems, sample preparation and instrument parameters for achieving the best possible performance for determinating an homologous series of N-benzyl-N-alkyl-N,N-dimethylammonium chloride compounds by capillary zone electrophoresis with direct UV detection. The most effective separation was achieved within 3.5 min with the addition of acetonitrile (40%) in a phosphate buffer (20 mM pH 5.2) using a 40 cm fused-silica capillary operating at 25 KV and 20°C. Degassing of all electrolyte solutions and samples was very important. The linearity and repeatability for each compounds were satisfactory. To improve detection limits, on-column sample preconcentration, sample stacking, was investigated achieving a tenfold enrichment factor and quantitation limits about 10&amp;#8722;7M.  相似文献

The aim of the study was to assess the antioxidant potential of goat&amp;#x02019;s milk and whey from goat&amp;#x02019;s milk fermented with selected bacteria strains from kefir grain (L. plantarum, L. fermentum, L. rhamnosus and L. acidophilus) with regard to fermented cow&amp;#x02019;s milk with the same bacteria strains. The assessment of antioxidant potential was made by ABTS, DPPH, TPC and FRAP methods. The work also assessed metabolic activity of tested lactic acid bacteria using measurement of electrical impedance changes in the growing medium. The highest values describing the antioxidant potential were found for fermented milk by L. acidophilus. It was also found that the time of cooling storage causes significantly increasing the antioxidant potential of most analyzed samples. Metabolic activity of tested lactic acid bacteria was the highest for cow&amp;#x02019;s milk. The course of curves for goat&amp;#x02019;s milk and whey from goat&amp;#x02019;s milk was similar, which confirms the differences between cow and goat milk.  相似文献
