果蝇昼夜生理节律之细胞质PER-TIM间隔定时器的大聚合物模型

昼夜生理节律使得生物体的生理和行为能够适应外界环境的昼夜循环变化. 实验发现在果蝇的细胞质中存在由PER-TIM复合体组成的间隔计时器. 本文提出了这个间隔定时器的一种可能的数学模型. 模型的特点是大聚合物, 快速交换, 不同磷酸化位点有不同功能. 模拟结果基本与实验相符, 符合PER-TIM间隔定时器的主要时间特征并重现了per^L 变异细胞系中定时器的特点, 以及PER和TIM蛋白进入细胞核的三种不同类型的过程.     

Some remarks on the geodetic number of a graph

A set of vertices D of a graph G is geodetic if every vertex of G lies on a shortest path between two not necessarily distinct vertices in D. The geodetic number of G is the minimum cardinality of a geodetic set of G.We prove that it is NP-complete to decide for a given chordal or chordal bipartite graph G and a given integer k whether G has a geodetic set of cardinality at most k. Furthermore, we prove an upper bound on the geodetic number of graphs without short cycles and study the geodetic number of cographs, split graphs, and unit interval graphs.     

Successively iterative method of nonlinear Neumann boundary value problems

Two successively iterative sequences are constructed for computing solutions of the nonlinear Neumann boundary value problems with time singularity. The sequences start off with some constants. Main tool is the fixed point theorem of increasing operator on the order interval. By considering convergence of the sequences, we prove the existence of nontrivial sign-changing solutions.     

Hahn-Banach theorems in nonstandard normed interval spaces

The conventional Hahn-Banach extension theorem based on vector space has been widely used to obtain many important and interesting results in nonlinear analysis, vector optimization and mathematical economics. Although the interval space is not a real vector space, the Hahn-Banach extension theorems based on interval spaces and nonstandard normed interval spaces can still be derived in this paper, which also shows the possible applications by considering the interval-valued problems in nonlinear analysis, vector optimization and mathematical economics.     

逐步优化灰导数的非等间距GM(1,1)模型

利用前向差商和后向差商的加权平均值代替灰导数,对非等间距灰色预测模型进行了改进,给出了加权系数的估计公式,并采用逐步递推的方法优化参数,建立新的非等间距GM(1,1)模型.最后通过实例证明了新模型具有较高的精度.

Linear interval equations with symmetric solution sets

Criteria for symmetry and boundedness are found for the combined solution set of a system of linear algebraic equations with interval coefficients. It is shown that the problem of the best inner interval estimation of a symmetric solution set can be exactly solved by linear programming methods.     

A note on iterative roots of PM functions

In this paper we study iterative roots of PM functions, a special class of non-monotone functions. Problem 2 in [W. Zhang, PM functions, their characteristic intervals and iterative roots, Ann. Polon. Math. LXV (1997) 119-128] is solved partly and Theorem 4 in that paper is generalized.     

Slope enclosures for functions given by two or more branches

In this paper, we consider the automatic computation of slope enclosures for continuous real functions given by two or more branches, such as piecewise defined nonsmooth functions. We show that a commonly used formula found in the literature does not always provide a slope enclosure for such functions. Furthermore, we prove a similar formula that always holds.
