On certain subclasses of close-to-convex and quasi-convex functions with respect to k-symmetric points

In the present paper, the authors introduce two new subclasses of close-to-convex functions and of quasi-convex functions. The integral representations for functions belonging to these classes are provided, the convolution conditions, growth theorems, distortion theorems and covering theorems for these classes are also provided. The results obtained generalize some known results, and some other new results are obtained.     

A sharp weak type inequality for martingale transforms and other subordinate martingales

We show here that for the case 2$">, and that is also the best constant in the analogous inequality for two martingales and indexed by , right continuous with limits from the left, adapted to the same filtration, and such that is nonnegative and nondecreasing in . In Section 7, we prove a similar inequality for harmonic functions.

     

Ma jorization Results and Coefficients Bounds for a Class of Univalent Functions Asso ciated with Operator

In this paper we introduce a new general subclass n,g ∑ a,λ(A, B,α) of univalent func-tions related the known integral operator and differential operator. Some majorization re-sults for n,g ∑ a,λ(A, B, 1) as well as the other functions are given. Furthermore, we find the coefficients bounds on|a2|and|a3|for functions in?n,g ∑ a,λ(A1, B1, A2, B2,α1,α2), which is the bi-univalent functions defined by n,g ∑ a,λ(A, B,α) and subordination. By giving specific values of the parameters of our main results, several(known or new) consequences of main results are also discussed.

Circular symmetrization,subordination and arclength problems on convex functions

We study the class of univalent analytic functions f in the unit disk of the form satisfying where Ω will be a proper subdomain of which is starlike with respect to . Let be the unique conformal mapping of onto Ω with and and . Let denote the arclength of the image of the circle , . The first result in this paper is an inequality for , which solves the general extremal problem , and contains many other well‐known results of the previous authors as special cases. Other results of this article cover another set of related problems about integral means in the general setting of the class .     

Strong Differential Subordination and Superordination Properties of Phi-Like Functions

Strong differential subordination and superordination properties are determined for Phi-like functions in the open unit disk by investigating appropriate classes of admissible functions. New strong differential sandwich-type results are also obtained.     

On massive sets for subordinated random walks

We study massive (reccurent) sets with respect to a certain random walk defined on the integer lattice , . Our random walk is obtained from the simple random walk S on by the procedure of discrete subordination. can be regarded as a discrete space and time counterpart of the symmetric α‐stable Lévy process in . In the case we show that some remarkable proper subsets of , e.g. the set of primes, are massive whereas some proper subsets of such as the Leitmann primes are massive/non‐massive depending on the function h. Our results can be regarded as an extension of the results of McKean (1961) about massiveness of the set of primes for the simple random walk in . In the case we study massiveness of thorns and their proper subsets. The case is presented in the recent paper Bendikov and Cygan 2 .     

Multidimensional subdiffusion model: Arbitrage-free market

To capture the subdiffusive characteristics of financial markets, the subordinated process, directed by the inverse α-stale subordinator S_α(t) for 0 < α <1, has been employed as the model of asset prices. In this article, we introduce a multidimensional subdiffusion model that has a bond and K correlated stocks. The stock price process is a multidimensional subdiffusion process directed by the inverse α-stable subordinator. This model describes the period of stagnation for each stock and the behavior of the dependency between multiple stocks. Moreover, we derive the multidimensional fractional backward Kolmogorov equation for the subordinated process by Laplace transform technique. Finally, using martingale approach, we prove that the multidimensional subdiffusion model is arbitrage-free, and also gives an arbitrage-free pricing rule for contingent claims associated with the martingale measure.     

Slice regular composition operators

In the article, we study the theory of slice regular compositions. Especially, the Littlewood subordination principle and the Denjoy–Wolff-type theorem are established for slice regular functions.
