Recent physics results at Beijing Electron-Positron Collider (BEPC) are reviewed, especially on excited baryons. Substantial improvements are expected at the newly built BESIII experiment, which is operational since 2008. The detector performance is excellent and a total of 100 million ψ(2S) and 200 million J/ψ event are collected in 2009. All existing experimental evidence for the bound state nature of X(3872) relies on observing its decay products,which are measured with a finite experimental mass resolution that is typically △m≥2 MeV,and much larger than its alleged binding energy,B_X=0.00(18) MeV.On the other hand,we have found recently that there is a clear cancellation in the 1~(++) channel of the invariant DD~*mass around the threshold between continuum and the bound state.This is very much like a similar cancellation in the proton-neutron continuum with the deuteron in the1~(++) channel.Based on comparative fits with a common Tsallis distribution of the experimental cross-sections for prompt production of deuterons and X(3872) in pp collisions with a finite p_T,we find a strong argument for questioning the bound state nature of this state,which also suggests that the large observed production rate could be consistent with a half-bound state. 相似文献

Using ~14×106ψ(2S) and ~58×106J/ψ data collected at BESⅡ/BEPC,the branching fraction of ψ(2S) →Ω+Ωˉ+ is measured with about 5σ statistical significance.The Λ electric dipole and Λ decay parameter are studied using the decay J/ψ→ΛΛ→ ppˉπ+π-.Using(106±3)×106 ψ(2S) decays collected at BESⅢ/BEPCⅡ,we have obtained some interesting physics results.The branching fractions of χcJ →π0π0,ηη are measured with precision improved.The mass and width of hc(11P1) state,together with the branching fractions of Br(ψ(2S) →π0hc) and Br(hc →γηc) are the first measurements.Surprisingly,the decays of χc1 →φφ,ωω,and ωφ are firstly observed in BESⅢ data. 相似文献

利用北京谱仪在北京正负电子对撞机上采集的350万(2S)事例,通过(2S)→γπ-和γK+K-反应道测量了Xc0的总宽度.由MonteCarlo模拟给出的质量分辨函数,利用拟合Xc2谱形得到的质量分辨作标定后,用于Xc0宽度的拟合,得到Xc0的宽度为(15.0)MeV.同时定出了XcJ(J=0,2)到π+π=和K+K-的衰变分支比.结果为B(Xc0→π+π-)=(4.27±0.23±O.60)×10-3;B(Xc0→K+K-)=(3.44±0.21±0.47×10-3;B(Xc2→π+π-)=(1.52±0.17±0.29)×10-3和B(Xc2→K+K-)=(5.2±1.1±1.8)×10-4,其中第一项误差为统计误差,第二项为系统误差。 相似文献

The cross sections of e+e-→π+π-hc at center-of-mass energies from 3.90 to 4.42 GeV were measured by the BES and the CLEO-c experiments. Resonant structures are evident in the e+e-→π+π-hc line shape. The fit to the line shape results in a narrow structure at a mass of(4216±18) MeV/c2and a width of(39±32) MeV, and a possible wide structure of mass(4293±9) MeV/c2and width(222±67) MeV. Here, the errors are combined statistical and systematic errors. This may indicate that the Y(4260) state observed in e+e-→π+π-J/ψ has a fine structure in it. 相似文献
