Synthesis and catalytic properties of hierarchical TS-1 in the presence of cationic organosilane surfactant

Hierarchical TS-1 has been synthesized in the presence of cationic organosilane surfactant.The material is characterized with XRD,TEM,N₂ adsorption isotherm.The results show that the hierarchical TS-1 aggregates consist of small primary units with sizes of 20-30 nm.The BET surface area increases from 420 to 513 m²/g compared to conventional TS-1 zeolite.The sample is shown to be more active in epoxidation of cyclohexene than conventional TS-1.     

Determination of metoprolol in rabbit blood using capillary electrophoresis with laser-induced fluorescence detection

This work described a sensitive method for determination of metoprolol in rabbit plasma.The method involved purification by ultrafiltration,derivatization with fluorescein isothiocyanate,determination by capillary electrophoresis(CE) coupled with laser-induced fluorescence(LIF) detector.Other components in plasma including a variety of amino acids and proteins did not interfere with the determination of metoprolol in experimental condition.The assay had a wide range(2.0-500 ng/mL) of linearity and a detection limit of 0.8 ng/mL.The intra- and inter-day precisions were satisfactory with relative standard deviation(RSD) less than 10.0%and accuracy within 10.0%.This method was successfully applied to pharmacokinetic study of metoprolol in rabbit blood.     

A spirocyclic oxindole analogue:Synthesis and antitumor activities

A new synthesis of spirocyclic oxindole analogue spiro[piperidine-4,3’-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin]-2’（1’H）-one 1 is described.The key steps involve dialkylation of arylacetonitrile and cyclization of the azaoxindole ring by an intramolecular Buchwald-Hartwig amidation of carboxylic ami Je and aryl chloride.A small library was obtained by reductive amination of 1 with various aldehydes and was screened against human lung cancer cell A549,human liver cancer cell BEL7402,and human colon cancer cell HCT-8.The results show that most of the 1（?）rary compounds 2 have some inhibitory activities.2-（Trifluoromethoxy） benzylic substituted spirocyclic azaoxindole 2e was identified as a nanomolar inhibitor against human lung cancer cell A-549(IC₅₀=50 nmol/L).     

Friedel-Crafts alkylation of indoles with nitroalkenes catalyzed by Cu(Ⅱ)-imine complex

A series of new ligands L₁-L₇ were readily prepared in one step.Friedel-Crafts alkylation of indoles with nitroalkenes catalyzed by a novel Cu（Ⅱ）-L complex has been developed.The remarkable advantages of this reaction are mild reaction conditions,simple workup procedure,high yields of products and the use of ethanol as a green solvent.     

Dielectric analysis on phase transition and micelle shape of polyoxyethylene trisiloxane surfactant in dilute aqueous solution

The cloudy Silwet L-77 aqueous solution on the concentration range from 0.5%to 50%was investigated by dielectric relaxation spectroscopy.The concentration dependence of phase microstructure was confirmed by means of analyzing the dielectric parameters of bulk solution.The relaxation behavior was assigned to the interfacial polarization between the micelle and the medium,and the relaxation distribution parameter was used to figure the shape transition from sphere to ellipsoid with the concentration increasing.The synchronous reduction of permittivity and conductivity indicated the formation of the lamellar phase. As compensation,the quantity of the surfactant liquid phase gradually decreased,whose shape constantly kept ellipsoidal.     

Eco-friendly synthesis of 2-substituted-2,3-dihydro-4(1H)-quinazolinones in water

2-Substituted-2,3-dihydro-4(1H)-quinazolinones were synthesized in high yield by condensation of 2-anthranilamide with aromatic aldehydes or ketones in refluxing water without catalyst.This protocol has advantages of high yield,simple work-up and environmental friendly procedure.     

Effects of cosolvent on formation and morphology of microspheres in precipitation polymerization of divinylbenzene in supercritical carbon dioxide

Precipitation polymerizations of divinylbenzene(DVB) in pure supercritical carbon dioxide,and parallel runs with presence of a cosolvent were carried out.The results showed that use of acetone as the cosolvent contributed greatly to the formation of the monodisperse microspheres.PDVB microspheres,with obviously higher uniformity than reported up to date,were achieved using 6-7 mL of acetone in a reactor of 50 mL with DVB concentration of 0.4 mol/L under 16 MPa,a much lower pressure than previously reported without use of cosolvent.     

Crystal structure of β-cyclodextrin-4-chlorobenzoic acid complex:Unusual C-Cl…π interaction between 4-chlorobenzoic acids in β-cyclodextrin dimer

The inclusion complex ofβ-cyclodextrin（β-CD） with 4-chlorobenzoic acid was synthesized and its crystal structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction under cryogenic condition.The complex contains twoβ-CDs,two 4-chlorobenzoic acids and twenty-nine water molecules in the asymmetric unit,and can be formulated as 2(C₄₂H₇₀O₃₅)·2（C₇H₅O₂Cl）·29（H₂O）.In the crystal lattice,twoβ-CDs form a face-to-face dimer jointed together through hydrogen bonding between the secondary hydroxyl groups ofβ-CDs.Two 4-chlorobenzoic acid molecules which contact by C-Cl…πinteractions are included in theβ-CD dimer cavity.Theβ-CD dimers are arranged in brickwork-like pattern along the crystallographic a-axis.The effect of guest molecule length on the inclusion geometry was discussed by comparative study of someβ-CD complexes containing similar guests.     

Simple preparation and catalytic properties of ZnO for ozonation degradation of phenol in water

ZnO particles about 200 nm were prepared through a facile hydrothermal method.Compared with single ozonation,the degradation efficiency of phenol increased about 23.7%and the degradation efficiency of intermediates improved about four times in the presence of ZnO at 298 K.In addition,the catalyst had good stability in the ozonation process.The influence of temperature was investigated and it was found that the better catalysis efficiency could be obtained at lower temperature.     

Determination of diastereoisomeric alkaloids in urine by capillary electrophoresis with electrochemiluminescence detection

A new and simple capillary electrophoresis with electrochemiluminescence detection was developed for the separation and the quantification of a pair of diastereoisomenc alkaloids（ephedrine and pseudoephedrine）.The limits of detection（S/N = 3） were 4.5×10^-8 mol/L for ephedrine and 5.2×10^-8 mol/L for pseudoephedrine,respectively.The RSDs of migration time and peak area were less than 1.3 and 2.5%（n = 5）,respectively.The applicability of the propose method was illustrated in the determination of ephedrine and pseudoephedrine in human urine,ephedrine in nasal drops,and the monitoring of pharmacokinetics for pseudoephedrine.
