This study presents a two-step synthesis of nanoparticles and the stabilization process of Ag ions in the matrix of NaCl nanocrystals. Ag+ ions are incorporated to NaCl with a new and attractive method that can be easily used for the different types of alkaline halides. The nanoparticles with predominant size found between 10 and 15 nm were stabilized on the surface and/or interior of NaCl nanocrystals using, in the first stages, the ionic-exchange property of zeolite A4. The optical properties of the materials were characterized through optical absorption, leading to well defined absorption bands located in the wave length values between 217–275 nm and 350–770 nm approximately, for Ag+ and AgNp, respectively. The antibacterial property of Ag ions and nanoparticles stabilized in NaCl was analyzed against gram-negative Escherichia Coli and Klebsiella bacteria. In order to quantify the antibacterial effect of Ag ions and nanoparticles the inhibition ratio was used as a parameter on the bacteria colonies grown in culture medium by conventional methods. Ag+ ions that were stabilized in NaCl nanocrystals show a mayor inhibition ratio in contact with Klebsiella bacteria, conversely Ag nanoparticles showed better results in contact with E. coli. 相似文献

We perform first-principles calculation to investigate electronic and magnetic properties of Co-doped WSe2 monolayer with strains from −10% to 10%. We find that Co can induce magnetic moment about 0.894 μB, the Co-doped WSe2 monolayer is a magnetic semiconductor material without strain. The doped system shows half-metallic properties under tensile strain, and the largest half-metal gap is 0.147 eV at 8% strain. The magnetic moment (0.894 μB) increases slightly from 0% to 6%, and jumps into about 3 μB at 8% and 10%, which presents high-spin state configurations. When we applied compressive strain, the doped system shows a half-metallic feature at −2% strain, and the magnetic moment jumps into 1.623 μB at −4% strain, almost two times as the original moment 0.894 μB at 0% strain. The magnetic moment vanishes at −7% strain. The Co-doped WSe2 can endure strain from −6% to 10%. Strain changes the redistribution of charges and magnetic moment. Computational studies to determine the origin of enantioselectivity in the (1R,2R)-1,2-diphenylethane-1,2-diamine (DEPN)–Brønsted acid catalyzed epoxidation of 2-cyclohexen-1-one have been performed using density functional theory. Transition states for conjugate addition and ring closure steps of the epoxidations catalyzed by three different catalyst systems were characterized. Our calculations show that the Csp2H?O H-bond interaction between the benzene ring of the catalyst and H2O is mainly responsible for the chiral discrimination observed. The Brønsted acid counterion plays a very important role in ensuring high enantioselectivity by improving the rigidity of the transition state structures to allow the efficient formation of the Csp2H?O H-bond. Moreover, we explain why these two diamine catalysts (1S,2S)-DACH and (1R,2R)-DPEN display consistent enantioselectivities in the catalytic epoxidation of 2-cyclohexen-1-one when combining with three different cocatalysts; achiral TFA, and chiral (R)- and (S)-TRIP. 相似文献

We present results of characterization of spontaneous down converted radiation excited in the bulk nonlinear crystals by the incoherent, frequency and spatially broadband source. Such properties as down converted wave vectors density in angular-frequencies space, density of biphoton states and photon coincidences are calculated. Multi-reference configuration interaction is used to produce potential energy curves(PECs) for the excited B1Π state of KH molecule.To investigate the correlation effect of core-valence electrons,five schemes are employed which include the different correlated electrons and different active spaces.The PECs are fitted into analytical potential energy functions(APEFs).The spectroscopic parameters,ro-vibrational levels,and transition frequencies are determined based on the APEFs and compared with available experimental and theoretical data.The molecular properties for B1Π obtained in this letter,which are better than those available in literature,can be reproduced with calculations using the suitable correlated electrons and active space of orbitals. 相似文献
