利用多极法对光子晶体光纤的色散特性进行了模拟, 通过设计合适的结构参数, 得到了具有3个零色散波长的单模光纤.对中心纤芯有1个微小空气孔光子晶体光纤的色散特性进行了分析, 设计出了具有4个零色散波长的色散曲线.分析了零色散波长随光纤结构的变化规律, 这些零色散波长的位置和间距可以在很大波长范围内灵活调节. 具有多个零色散波长的光纤可以得到色散值极低的超平坦色散曲线. 多个零色散波长光纤能产生丰富的相位匹配曲线, 可以有效地控制光孤子及超短脉冲的四波混频及共振散射产生的光谱特性.  相似文献

A kind of improved high birefringence photonic crystal fibre (PCF) is proposed in this paper. The characteristics of birefringence, dispersion and leakage loss are studied by the multipole method. Numerical results show that the improved PCF possesses the properties of a flat dispersion and single mode operation. Moreover, with the operating wavelength λ = 1.55μm, the modal birefringence increases greatly in comparison with that of the original PCF, and the leakage loss is about 104 times smaller than that of the original PCF because the modification gives rise to the strong confinement of guided modes. It is expected that the improved PCF can be used as high birefringence and dispersion flattened fibres.  相似文献

This paper investigates the guided-mode characteristics of hollow-core photonic band-gap fibre (HC-PBGF) with interstitial holes fabricated by an improved twice stack-and-draw technique at visible wavelengths. Based on the simulation model with interstitial holes, the influence of glass interstitial apexes on photonic band-gaps is discussed. The existing forms of guided-mode in part band gaps are shown by using the full-vector plane-wave method. In the experiment, the observed transmission spectrum corresponds to the part band gaps obtained by simulation. The fundamental and second-order guided-modes with mixture of yellow and green light are observed through choosing appropriate fibre length and adjusting coupling device. The loss mechanism of guided-modes in HC-PBGF is also discussed.  相似文献

C. Libove[1]proved that at least one of the halfwave numbers m and n in x and y directions of the buckling mode will be 1 for simply supported rectangular orthotropic plates under biaxial compression. This paper will give the physical conditions of m=1 or n=1, and, at the same time, show the way of finding appropriate value of m when n=1 and that of n when m=1 and even lead to explicit expression for m and n. Thus, the buckling mode may be determined completely and the expression of critical load may be formlated explicitly.  相似文献

This paper presents a theoretical study on a photonic crystal fiber plasmonic refractive index biosensor. The proposed photonic crystal fiber sensor introduces the concept of simultaneous detection with the linearly polarized and radially polarized modes because the sensing performance of the sensor based on both modes is relatively high, which will be useful for selecting the modes to make the detection accurately. The sharp single resonant peaks of the linearly polarized mode and radially polarized mode, are stronger and more sensitive to the variation of analyte refractive index than that of any other polarized mode in this kind of photonic crystal fiber. For linearly polarized mode and radially polarized mode, the maximum sensitivities of 10448.5nm per refractive index unit and 8230.7nm per refractive index unit can be obtained, as well as 949.8 and 791.4 for figure of merits in the sensing range of 1.33-1.45, respectively. Compared with the conventional Au-metalized surface plasmon resonance sensors, our device is better and can be applied as a biosensor.  相似文献

A kind of double-cladding photonic crystal fiber (DC-PCF) with high birefringence and two zero-dispersion wavelengths is proposed. It is found that the birefringence of DC-PCF with inner cladding air holes pitch 1.0μm and diameter 0.8μm is 1.001×10-2 in the optical communication band at wavelength 1.55μm by the multipole method. It is demonstrated that two zero dispersion wavelengths can be achieved in the optical communication band between 0.8μm and 1.7μm, and the first zero-dispersion wavelength is in the working wave band of the Ti:sapphire oscillator, which contributes to the frequency conversion of the Ti:sapphire femtosecond laser. PCF with two zero-dispersion wavelengths can make strong power supercontinuum spectral in the near infrared band.  相似文献

利用有限元方法对纤芯中心带有一个微小空气孔的光子晶体光纤进行了分析,得到了其模场分布、损耗及色散特性随光纤结构参数及波长的变化规律.根据光的衍射原理及光子晶体光纤的传输特性,对空气孔传光的物理本质进行了解释.得到了微小空气孔低损耗、高强度、单模传输时,光子晶体光纤结构参数及波长的取值范围.设计出了一种优化的光子晶体光纤结构,其模场很好地集中在纤芯微小空气孔中,限制损耗α=5.9×10-5dB/km,为微小空气孔传光的光子晶体光纤设计及制备提供了理论指导.光在空气孔中高强度、长距离传输,为光与物质相互作用及非线性光纤光学提供了新的条件.  相似文献

采用可以减小纤芯面积的小气孔设计方案巧妙设计并成功拉制了一根高非线性的单零色散微结构光纤.利用有限元法模拟并计算得到了该光纤的基模有效折射率、色散系数和非线性系数等基本属性随波长的变化关系,然后利用四波混频的有效相位失配方程模拟了其相位失配曲线.模拟表明,在该光纤中可以同时发生两组四波混频.在位于微结构光纤的正常色散区的0.800,0.810和0.820μm三个波长处,分别采用不同的功率抽运,在实验上都非常明显地观察到了分列于抽运波长两侧的四个增益波带的产生.经与相位失配曲线比较,发现它们满足相位匹配条件,从而证明了两组四波混频过程的同时发生.实验结果与理论预言符合得很好.发生在正常色散区的四波混频效应的产生可归结于负的四阶色散对相位匹配过程的贡献.本文研究可对微结构光纤的结构设计和基于四波混频的多波长转移技术的发展提供经验与借鉴,同时也对非常见波段激光器和宽带光源的开发具有参考意义.  相似文献

单一原子(分子)的自发辐射衰变的动力学性质强烈地依赖于其在光子晶体中的位置及其辐射偶极矩与所处位置场的相对方向.测量单一原子(分子)的自发辐射衰变特性只能反映光子晶体的局域态密度特征,而不能反映光子晶体的全态密度特征.理论上研究发现,通过引入含不同密度分布的发光分子可以探测到光子晶体的全态密度的部分细节甚至全部信息.按来源首次将全态密度分为两个部分,证明了特定的发光分子分布可以完善地反映其中的一部分或者全部,这为解释、设计加速或抑制原子(分子)自发辐射的实验提供了有益的指导. 关键词: 光子晶体 自发辐射 态密度 密度分布  相似文献
