Measurements of femtosecond temporal speckle field of a random medium

The femtosecond temporal speckle field of a random medium is studied theoretically and experimentally. Femtosecond temporal speckle arises from the interference of multiple randomly scattered electric fields. The femtosecond temporal speckle field is measured with a cross-correlation frequency-resolved optical gating method. The spatial average of the speckle field yields a smooth transmitted profile. The speckle field is a circular complex Gaussian variable because the scattered light beams from different trajectories have no correlation with each other. The field and the intensity profiles of individual speckle spots fluctuate randomly in time. The ensemble average of the temporal intensity profiles converges, thereby yielding the photon travel time probability distribution function.     

基于粗糙集与模糊集的信息检索算法

结合粗糙集与模糊集理论,提出一种信息检索的新方法.该方法首先对已知文本信息按关键词进行模糊聚类;然后利用粗糙集理论求出各关键词的重要性程度;最后根据最大相似度原则对文本信息进行检索,若结果集中文本数量较大,则按文本与已知文本的相似度从高到低进行排序,先返回相似度较高的相关文档.

Baicklund Transformation and Multisoliton Solutions in Terms of Wronskian Determinant for （2~-l）-Dimensional Breaking Soliton Equations with Symbolic Computation

In this paper, two types of the （2＋1）-dimensional breaking soliton equations axe investigated, which describe the interactions of the Riemann waves with the long waves. With symbolic computation, the Hirota bilineax forms and Bgcklund transformations are derived for those two systems. Furthermore, multisoliton solutions in terms of the Wronskian determinant are constructed, which are verified through the direct substitution of the solutions into the bilineax equations. Via the Wronskian technique, it is proved that the Bgcklund transformations obtained are the ones between the （ N - 1）- and N-soliton solutions. Propagations and interactions of the kink-/bell-shaped solitons are presented. It is shown that the Riemann waves possess the solitonie properties, and maintain the amplitudes and velocities in the collisions only with some phase shifts.     

色散渐变光纤中相移控制研究

相移控制能有效的避免孤子间的相互作用.通过利用符号计算和双线性方法,本文解析研究用于描述色散渐变光纤传输特点的非线性Schr?dinger方程,并得到该方程的双孤子解.基于所得到的双孤子解,通过研究发现,当色散渐变光纤中的群速度色散呈Gauss型变化时,可以利用该类光纤实现孤子相移控制,从而避免孤子相互作用,提高光通信系统中信号传输质量.此外,本文还将讨论色散渐变光纤中各类参数对相移控制的影响.本文结论还有助于逻辑门和全光开光的研究.     

粗糙集的矩阵刻画

本文首先从一个二元关系矩阵出发,给出经典粗糙集、模糊粗糙集、粗糙模糊集的上下近似的矩阵描述,然后研究了它们的性质,最后将粗糙集、模糊粗糙集、粗糙模糊集的上下近似的定义用矩阵的方法统一起来,给研究带来了方便。矩阵的方法不仅提供了上下近似的简单的计算方法,也提供了一种新的推理的方法。     

Periodic solitons in dispersion decreasing fibers with a cosine profile

Periodic solitons are studied in dispersion decreasing fibers with a cosine profile. The variable-coefficient nonlinear Schr¨odinger equation, which can be used to describe the propagation of solitons, is investigated analytically. Analytic soliton solutions for this equation are derived with the Hirota’s bilinear method. Using the soliton solutions, we obtain periodic solitons, and analyze the soliton characteristics. Influences of physical parameters on periodic solitons are discussed. The presented results can be used in optical communication systems and fiber lasers.     

Laser-Induced Electron Fresnel Diffraction in Tunneling and Over-Barrier Ionization

This work focuses on chirped solitons in a higher-order nonlinear Schr¨odinger equation, including cubic-quinticseptic nonlinearity, weak nonlocal nonlinearity, self-frequency shift, and self-steepening effect. For the first time,analytical bright and kink solitons, as well as their corresponding chirping, are obtained. The influence of septic nonlinearity and weak nonlocality on the dynamical behaviors of those nonlinearly chirped solitons is thoroughly addressed. The findings of the study give...     

19-fs pulse generated by supercontinuum compression

Supercontinuum generation and compression in a length of 50-mm photonic crystal fiber with pulse of nanojoule energy are investigated theoretically and experimentally. Chirped mirror pair is used for dispersion compensation and pulse compression. Pulse characteristics are measured by frequency-resolved optical gating. And 19-fs pulse is generated.
