A new method for laser-frequency stabilization by controlling the pulse setup time is presented. The frequency-stabilization system monitors the pulse setup time continuously, and controls it by adjusting the cavity length. Laser frequency is stabilized to the center of the gain curve when the setup time is the shortest. The system is used to stabilize a radio-frequency-excited waveguide CO 2 laser tuned by grating, and the shift of laser frequency is estimated to be less than ±25 MHz for an extended period. The system has the advantages of compact structure, small volume, and low cost. It can be applied for frequency stabilization of other kinds of pulsed lasers with adjustable cavity. 相似文献

Optically pumped terahertz (THz) lasers with high pulse repetition frequency are designed. Such a laser includes two parts: the optically pumping laser and the THz laser. The structures of the laser are described and analyzed. The rate equations for the pulsed THz laser are given. The kinetic process and laser pulse waveform for this kind of laser are numerically calculated based on the theory of rate equations. The theoretical results give a helpful guide to the research of such lasers. 相似文献

分析了影响激光二极管抽运Yb∶YAG激光器调Q效率的参量 ,推导了激光二极管端面脉冲抽运Yb∶YAG晶体的速率方程 ,解出了双程抽运情况下的净抽运量子产率。利用数值计算方法 ,模拟了净抽运量子产率与晶体长度 ,抽运光脉冲宽度等关系 ,得出晶体长度的优化可以提高Yb∶YAG激光器输出效率。计算了调QYb∶YAG激光器的最大增益、最大储能 ,分析了放大自发辐射对于Yb∶YAG能量存储的影响。同时给出了激光二极管端面抽运调QYb∶YAG优化设计方法。这些分析和计算为实际器件的研制提供参考。 相似文献

分析了脉冲外差体制CO2激光成像雷达系统的目标距离分辨率、测距精度和误差的主要来源.对于单个光脉冲测距来讲,信噪比(SNR)起伏引起的探测误差、脉冲前沿触发等概率分布以及脉冲建立时间的随机性等是激光脉冲外差测距的主要随机误差,其它随机误差在数量级上可忽略不计.同时利用现有的CO2激光脉冲外差探测系统,进行了远目标测距对比实验,观测到了2355 m目标脉冲回波信号,并精确测量出CO2光脉冲飞行的往返时间,该实验数据可用做系统误差的校正和补偿. 相似文献

An electro-optically Q-switched partial Z-folded RF CO2 waveguide laser with an intracavity CdTe modu-lator has been designed and characterized.The partial Z-fold channel is 3 x 460 mm in length.In this paperwe study the laser output power as a function of gas pressure for partial Z-fold channel without Q-switchedcrystal inside the cavity.The maximum laser output power is about 21 W.For Q-switch operation,thepeak power is 730 W and the pulse width is 150 ns. 相似文献

溢油海水双向反射分布函数(BRDF)研究可为海水表面油膜及海水中溢油乳浊液检测提供理论基础,对保护海洋周边环境及海洋生态平衡具有重要的意义.本文基于蒙特卡罗方法及Mie散射理论建立了溢油海水模型,针对532 nm及355 nm激光研究了无溢油海水、漂浮油膜海水及乳浊液海水情况下海水的BRDF,并给出不同油膜厚度及溢油浓度下海水的BRDF.结果表明双向反射分布函数对水体的污染程度十分敏感,相同观测角下,溢油海水BRDF值明显小于无溢油海水BRDF值,海水的BRDF值随油膜厚度及溢油浓度的增加而减小.海水的BRDF值可作为海水是否发生溢油污染及污染程度判断依据之一. 相似文献
