Sequential over-barrier ionization of multi-electron atoms in the tens-to-hundreds keV/u energy range

Our previous work on the classical over-barrier ionization model for helium double ionization is extended to the complex multi-electron system of Ne.The total and q-fold ionization cross sections are calculated at energies ranging from a few tens to several hundred keV/u.The calculation results are in good agreement with the experimental data,and the energy dependence of the cross sections suggests that the multi-ionization of a strong perturbated complex atom is probably the sequential over-barrier ionization process.     

Sn和Pb单掺杂Al4小团簇的理论研究

在CCSD(T)/aug-cc-pVTZ&;CEP-121G//B3LYP/6-311+G(d)&;LANL2DZ水平上, 研究了由更高周期的Sn和Pb单掺杂Al4团簇形成的五原子含铝体系XAl4(X=Sn, Pb), 确定了体系的低能异构体, 分析了关键异构体的结构和稳定性. 研究结果表明, 与SiAl4及GeAl4的基态平面四配位Si/Ge结构所不同, 等价电子的SnAl4和PbAl4体系的基态结构不是平面四配位Sn/Pb, 而是平面四配位Al, 其中杂原子Sn/Pb采取二配位方式, 此外, Sn/Pb采取三配位方式的非平面结构的稳定性也要优于平面四配位Sn/Pb结构.     

等离子体反应器中传热与流动的三维数值模拟

本文采用我们新发展的三维计算机程序,对有载气和颗粒从单个喷孔侧向喷射的等离子体反应器中的传热与流动以及颗粒的运动轨迹与加热历程进行了三维数值模拟,并与相应的二维数值模拟结果进行了比较。模拟结果表明侧向喷入的载气所引起的三维流动效应相当明显,不同的颗粒在反应器内的运动轨迹与加热历程也有明显差别。

Three—dimensional modelling of the flow and heat transfer in a laminar non—transferred arc plasma torch

By experimental observation we show that the plasma flow and heat transfer within a direct current (DC) nontransferred arc plasma torch always show appreciable three-dimensional (3D) peculiarity even when the geometrical construction of the torch and working gas admission and external electrical collection conditions are completely axisymmetrical.Previous two-dimensional (2D) modelling studies cannot predict the 3D peculiarity of the plasma torch.We have successfully performed 3D modelling,and in this paper we present the modelling results for the plasma flow and heat transfer characteristics in a laminar DC non-transferred are argon plasma torch.The predicted arc-root location on the surface of the torch anode and arc voltage compare favourably with the corresponding experimental results.
