Viscoelastic materials with a double porosity structure

This paper in concerned with the linear theory of materials with memory that possess a double porosity structure. First, the formulation of the initial-boundary-value problem is presented. Then, a uniqueness result is established. The semigroup theory of linear operators is used to prove existence and continuous dependence of solutions. A minimum principle for the dynamical theory is also derived.     

COUPLING EFFECTS OF VOID SHAPE AND VOID SIZE ON THE GROWTH OF AN ELLIPTIC VOID IN A FIBER-REINFORCED HYPER-ELASTIC THIN PLATE

The growth of a prolate or oblate elliptic micro-void in a fiber reinforced anisotropic incompressible hyper-elastic rectangular thin plate subjected to uniaxial extensions is studied within the framework of finite elasticity. Coupling effects of void shape and void size on the growth of the void are paid special attention to. The deformation function of the plate with an isolated elliptic void is given, which is expressed by two parameters to solve the differential equation. The solution is approximately obtained from the minimum potential energy principle. Deformation curves for the void with a wide range of void aspect ratios and the stress distributions on the surface of the void have been obtained by numerical computation. The growth behavior of the void and the characteristics of stress distributions on the surface of the void are captured. The combined effects of void size and void shape on the growth of the void in the thin plate are discussed. The maximum stresses for the void with different sizes and different void aspect ratios are compared.     

Phragmen–lindelöf principle for weak subsolutions and cooperative reaction–diffusion systems

One of the principal techniques for treating sustems of reaction–diffusion equations is based on a comparison method using sub and super–solutions. In practice this method is much more effective if non–smooth subsolutions are allowed. In this note we extend the analysis in [2,3] for cooperative systems and prove a comparison principle for a natural and rather general class of weak subsolutions satisfying a Phragmen–Lindelöf condition. An application is then given to a biological model in involving a pair of mutualists.     

A premium principle based on the g-integral

A novel approach of calculating an insurance premium based on g-integrals and interval-valued integrals is introduced. The characterization theorem for the g-integral-based premium principle is proven, and the relations with some well-known premium principles are discussed. The main properties of the interval-valued premium principle based on the g-integral are presented and some illustrative examples are given.     

Equilibrium analysis for a mass-conserving model in presence of cavitation

We study the existence of equilibrium positions for the load problem in Lubrication Theory. The problem consists of two surfaces in relative motion separated by a small distance filled by a lubricant. The system is described by the modified Reynolds equation (Elrod–Adams model) which describes the behavior of the lubricant and an extra integral equation given the balance of forces. The balance of forces allows to obtain the unknown position of the surfaces, defined with one degree of freedom.

现代光电子产品和能源技术都大量使用透明导电氧化物(TCO)薄膜.由于太阳能电池、平板显示器、发光二极管、短波长激光器、节能玻璃窗等应用领域日益增长的需求,TCO薄膜获得了越来越广泛的应用.文章总结了TCO薄膜的功能原理、应用需求和当前的研究方向,重点分析了p型TCO薄膜研究所要解决的关键问题(其中包括掺杂非对称性,性能退化与缺陷的生成,结构和变化的关系),指出了p型TCO薄膜制备的关键因素,研究的热点问题和蕴藏的研究机会.     

Novel Mittag-Leffler stability of linear fractional delay difference equations with impulse

In this letter we propose a class of linear fractional difference equations with discrete-time delay and impulse effects. The exact solutions are obtained by use of a discrete Mittag-Leffler function with delay and impulse. Besides, we provide comparison principle, stability results and numerical illustration.
