Improved thermoelectric performance in p-type Bi_(0.48)Sb_(1.52)Te_3 bulk material by adding MnSb_2Se_4 下载免费PDF全文
Bismuth telluride(Bi_2Te_3) based alloys, such as p-type Bi_(0.5)Sb_(1.5)Te_3, have been leading candidates for near room temperature thermoelectric applications. In this study, Bi_(0.48)Sb_(1.52)Te_3 bulk materials with MnSb_2Se_4 were prepared using high-energy ball milling and spark plasma sintering(SPS) process. The addition of MnSb_2Se_4 to Bi_(0.48)Sb_(1.52)Te_3 increased the hole concentration while slightly decreasing the Seebeck coefficient, thus optimising the electrical transport properties of the bulk material. In addition, the second phases of MnSb_2Se_4 and Bi_(0.48)Sb_(1.52)Te_3 were observed in the Bi_(0.48)Sb_(1.52)Te_3 matrix. The nanoparticles in the semi-coherent second phase of MnSb_2Se_4 behaved as scattering centres for phonons,yielding a reduction in the lattice thermal conductivity. Substantial enhancement of the figure of merit, ZT, has been achieved for Bi_(0.48)Sb_(1.52)Te_3 by adding an Mn_(0.8)Cu_(0.2)Sb_2Se_4(2mol%) sample, for a wide range of temperatures, with a peak value of 1.43 at 375 K, corresponding to ~40% improvement over its Bi_(0.48)Sb_(1.52)Te_3 counterpart. Such enhancement of the thermoelectric(TE) performance of p-type Bi_2Te_3 based materials is believed to be advantageous for practical applications. 相似文献

采用提拉法沿a轴和c轴生长出无色透明的GdVO4单晶,质量均超过50g.用X射线荧光分析法测得两个主要元素Gd和V的分凝系数都接近1.室温下测量了GdVO4晶体的X射线粉末衍射图,确定所获GdVO4晶体属于四方晶系,D194h-I41/amd空间群.通过晶体的锥光干涉图确定GdVO4晶体为单轴晶,光轴方向平行于c轴且光学均匀性比较好.利用高分辨X射线衍射仪测量GdVO4晶体的摇摆曲线,结果表明生长的GdVO4晶体的晶格完整性较好.通过浮力法测得其室温下密度为5.478g/cm3.透过波谱表明透过波长大于340nm. 相似文献

采用提拉(Czochralski)法生长了Nd:LuVO4晶体.利用液相反应法,以V2O5和NH4OH生成NH4VO3,Nd2O3、Lu2O3和HNO3生成Nd(NO3)3和Lu(NO3)3反应制备多晶料;所生长Nd0.01Lu0.99VO4晶体为16×20×21 mm3,质量超过40g.以X射线荧光分析仪测得其生长中各主要元素的分凝系数.其中Nd3+约为0.91,V3+和Lu3+接近1.还测定了其介电常数ε11=27.2,ε33=33.9(30℃,1kHz),以同步辐射X射线白光形貌术观察了其内部质量. 相似文献

用提拉法生长了Nd∶YVO4, Nd∶GdVO4,Nd∶GdxLa1-xVO4(x=0.8, 0.6, 0.45)系列晶体,对影响晶体质量的因素进行了分析,测量了几种晶体的结构和晶胞常数;测量了Nd∶YVO4, Nd∶GdVO4, Nd∶Gd0.8La0.2VO4和Nd∶Gd0.6La0.4VO4晶体的室温吸收谱和荧光谱,用LD泵浦Nd∶YVO4, Nd∶GdVO4, Nd∶Gd0.8La0.2VO4晶体,实现了1.06μm和1.34μm的激光输出. 相似文献

Stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) of picosecond pulses is investigated in a new crystal SrWO4. The second harmonic generation of a mode-locked Nd:YAG laser system is used as the pump source. In an external singlepass configuration, the SRS thresholds for the first to the fourth Stokes lines are measured. For the first Stokes line, the steady-state gain coefficient of the SrWO4 crystal is calculated to be 15.96cm//GW. In our experiment, as many as five Stokes lines (559.23 nm, 589.61 nm, 623.49 nm, 661.50 nm, 704.44 nm) and three anti-Stokes lines (506.97nm, 484.34 nm, 463.65nm) are observed, and the total conversion efficiency is as high as 62%. 相似文献
