A fiber-based,multiple access timing signal synchronization scheme is demonstrated.By coupling out the bidirectional transmission signals,a highly stable timing signal can be recovered at arbitrary points along the fiber with the help of the loop delay message broadcasted via ethernet from the local module.The experiment is carried out on a 30-km fiber placed in a temperature-controlled box.In one-day period,when the round trip fiber transfer delay fluctuation is60 ns,the fluctuations of the stabilized timing signal from the download and the remote modules were only ±125 ps and±100 ps,respectively.Also,the system error caused by transmission path asymmetry and thermal drift is calibrated,and a100-ps magnitude synchronization accuracy is realized.This method could provide new insights into the construction of a fiber-based time transfer network. 相似文献

The coherent population trapping(CPT) phenomenon has found widespread application in quantum precision measurements. Various designs based on the narrow resonant spectrum corresponding to the linear Zeeman effect have been demonstrated to achieve high performance. In this article, the nonlinear Zeeman split of the CPT spectrum of ~(87)Rb in the lin||lin setup is investigated. We observe re-split phenomenon for both magnetic sensitive and magnetic insensitive CPT resonant lines at a large magnetic field. The re-split in the magnetic sensitive lines raises a practical problem to magnetometers worked in the lin||lin setup while the other one shows a good potential for applications in large magnetic field. We propose a design based on the nonlinear split of the magnetic insensitive lines and test its performance. It provides a much larger measurement range compared to the linear one, offering an option for atomic magnetometers where a large dynamic range is preferred. 相似文献

用自行开发的三维湍流流动、燃烧、辐射传热和NOx湍流生成的计算程序,用离散坐标方法(DOM)模拟炉内的辐射传热并与其它传热方式相耦合,与各个输运方程共同求解,对燃烧室内的温度场进行了数值模拟.通过改变高温空气的预热温度,数值分析了高温空气燃烧炉内采用燃气直接喷射技术(FDI)的温度分布特性,检验了所采用的耦合数值模拟技术的有效性.模拟计算结果表明,提高空气预热温度,炉内温度的峰值相应增大,温度梯度降低,温度分布更均匀,火焰更长.相关的实验结果与数值预报的结果对比表明了相一致的规律. 相似文献

The merit of a modern atomic clock is measured by its phase stability. A clock's absolute time-keeping uncertainty typically worsens over its operating time τ as Δτα√τ, with an Allan deviation of sy σy(τ)=Δτ/τατ^-1/2. Here we analyze a new class of self-referencing clocks, whose phase is locked to itself after a certain time delay. We show that the Allan deviation of such clocks decreases as 1/τ over a long and controllable operating time. This class of clocks can maintain synchronization over a prolonged period with only a fixed, almost non-increasing, absolute uncertainty, forming an ideal time-piece. 相似文献

A fiber-based, star-shaped joint time and frequency dissemination scheme is demonstrated. By working in cooperation with the existing commercial telecommunication network. Our scheme enables the frequency, time, and digital data networks to be integrated together and could represent an ideal option of interconnection among scientific institutions.The compensation functions of the time and frequency transfer scheme are set at the client nodes. The complexity of the central node is thus reduced, and future expansion by the addition of further branches will be accomplished more easily.During a performance test in which the ambient temperature fluctuation is 30℃/day, timing signal dissemination stability is achieved to be approximately ±50 ps along 25-km-long fiber spools. After calibration, a timing signal synchronization accuracy of 100 ps is also realized. The proposed scheme offers an option of the construction of large-scale fiber-based frequency and time transfer networks. 相似文献

We demonstrate a novel and stable frequency transfer scheme over ground-to-satellite link based on real-time carrier-phase detection and compensation. We performed a zero-baseline measurement with the designed system, an uninterrupted frequency standard signal is recovered in the reception station without additional post-correction of delay error caused in the route, which is because the phase error of the entire route is tracked and compensated continuously in real-time. To achieve this goal, we employed two carriers in the system and the differential signal is transferred in order to eliminate the instability results from the local oscillator at the satellite transponder as well as the common-mode noise induced in the transfer route and microwave components. The stability of 3×10-16 with an integration time of 1 day was achieved and the time fluctuation during one day was measured to be about ±20 ps. Error sources and possible solutions are discussed. Our zero-baseline method shows a promising result for real-time satellite-based time and frequency transfer and deserves further research to find whether it works between long-baseline stations. 相似文献

Theoretical analysis of suppressing Dick effect in Ramsey-CPT atomic clock by interleaving lock 下载免费PDF全文
For most pulsed atomic clocks, the Dick effect is one of the main limits to reach its frequency stability limitation due to quantum projection noise. In this paper, we measure the phase noise of the local oscillator in the Ramsey-CPT atomic clock and calculate the Dick effect induced Allan deviation based on a three-level atomic model, which is quite different from typical atomic clocks. We further present a detailed analysis of optimizing the sensitivity function and minimizing the Dick effect by interleaving lock. By optimizing the duty circle of laser pulses, average time during detection and optical intensity of laser beam, the Dick effect induced Allan deviation can be reduced to the level of 10~(-14). 相似文献
